Review of Casa Libertinn

This was our first time using Airbnb, and I am so glad that we jumped on this place! We got the secluded feel, but we were still close enough to town if we needed to pick up anything or hit the road to go explore the area. Lorraine and Wilbur were the property managers and were extremely helpful and friendly, they gave us space but were around if we needed anything. They also have a dog who is super adorable and hung out with us during our stay. This made us feel even more comfortable as we are animal lovers, and were missing our pets while on our trip. We were able to spot a lot of wildlife on the property, such as iguanas, butterflies, hummingbirds, toucans and more. It was amazing to be able to watch the wildlife from the SPECTACULAR infinity pool. We were lucky enough to have the pool/property to ourselves as guests were leaving when we checked in. I promise pictures don’t do the pool justice, absolutely STUNNING! We stayed at Casa Iguane, which was similar to a small studio apartment with a large deck that we sat out on and watched beautiful sunrises every morning. The grounds themselves are beautiful with all the flora, fauna, and wildlife. Finding this place was fairly easy thanks to Waze. It can be easy to go pass the turn up the hill into this gated community so just keep an eye out if you are using this app. There is security at the bottom of the hill and then a gated area to the property which you will be given keys to use during your stay. Lorraine told us we were the first ones to ever come to their property on motorcycle, so we were excited about that! We drove from San Jose, which was about 3 hours, and a bit tricky at times with the rain and gravel up/down hills to the property. However, it was totally worth it and I recommend those experienced with motorcycles to consider while visiting the country. It is MUCH easier getting around, cheaper, and a fun way to get a taste of some adventure while in Costa Rica. To sum it up, the infinity pool, views, and the abundance of wildlife are reason enough to stay at this property. It felt like our own little paradise! You will not regret staying here!
