Highly recommend this resort for families or couples. The customer service and personal attention from every service personnel is commendable. Everyone was very accommodating and went above and beyond. Food at all venues was excellent. Would like to see extended hours at the swim up bar and pool restaurant (Zoe’s). They close at 4:30 and 5 pm. If you are coming back from tours and adventures, limits your ability to relax by the pool with a nice cocktail and quick bite. We are repeat customers and will continue coming back. Los Sueños made our Costa Rica vacation even more memorable!

Location is far from everything. Nice rooms are overpriced. Food terrible. Housekeeping and front desk both horrible. Housekeeping skipped our room. 😡 Front desk is all new trainees with no clue about anything. Checked out 2 days early. Avoid.

The hotel is too beautiful, you will not regret your visit. There's not a single thing I didn't like. The mega comfortable beds, the rooms clean and lovely.

I had a very lovely stay. Everyone was very kind. They made me feel safe and appreciated. The pool area is very spacious and clean. It’s close to the beach and marina, with lots of area for walking for exercise. The food and drinks were exceptional for a resort. Susan at the front desk was a joy to work with. Amazing hotel with great amenities, close to lots of local attractions and the hotel staff is extremely excellent. The pool though, is what sets this resort above the rest. Plenty of space to have your own little private area, warm and even has a swim up bar.

Great place! Poor management by the guy that runs the coffee shop (Dolce vita). The set up makes no sense. They think people are going to order and not pay for the things. The rest of the staff is nice, but the manager needs to go! He thinks he is running a pulperia in a ghetto!

Only bad thing is minor construction but they seem to have it segmented away from the other rooms and arent starting before 9am local time. Pay attention to viewpoints though, some say rainforest view which really means you're looking out the back of the hotel with all the service and delivery entrances. Staying a few more days so maybe something worse may happen but overall the place is great with beaches along with a magnificent pool area that has to be seen to be believed.

Our favorite Paradise resort by far. I couldn’t get enough of the hurricanes and quesadillas at the pool bar. Inside the pool! Everything about this place is amazing. We can’t wait to return.

Upscale resort. I expected service to be good and it was. Prices are expensive, but mostly fair. We ate at a great Italian restaurant. There was also a Japanese restaurant, but not what I was looking for. An upscale Costa Rican restaurant.

Beautiful hotel. Not a beach spot but within an hour drive to Manuel Antonio park you can enjoy a beautiful beach with white sand. Well worth it! Hotel food is a bit expensive so we dine out in the local restaurants. Take te chance and go out of the hotel. Costa Rica was so safe and friendly the experience was unique! Will definitely return to CR.

The price was right but no free breakfast included unless you pay more. The food was great. I had a issue with breakfast taking to long but the manager took care of us. The room is real big and the pool is amazing.

The place is spectacular. The service is amazing. All very friendly always with a smile. It's all very clean. The room was left very clean and tidy. There's a lot of respect. Amazing view. You see the sea also the sky looks great. It has a large green area for weddings. There are also children's area. The pool is huge. It crosses with different bridges and one passes under them. The sea is a little far. The food is very rich. It has different restaurants. There is sushi restaurant there is also one who sell burgers there is another that sells food as oriental. You can enter the rooms by different parts of the hotel. The pool towel service is very efficient. They give classes in the water or clubs for children as water aerobics. By the reception there is a part to study in group or chats and they also have different board games. There are also restaurants around the hotel facilities but always inside it. The hotel is very close to the center of Jaco and leaving the hotel there are also muuchos restaurants, shops and a supermarket.

Love this place. It's in a really nice area, with very nice restaurants and the marina is beautiful. The proximity to Jaco beach for surfing is awesome, it's a quick ride. Everyone here is awesome, especially the staff. No issues at all. The concierge was great for setting up trips to different parts of Costa Rica. Highly recommend if you are looking for a gated hotel stay.

Very good experience. People here work hard to make sure you are happy. Very good customer service and nicely kept facility. Pools were amazing. Just a few minutes walk to the beach from this resort. I would recommend it if you are staying on this side of Costa Rica.

We had a fantastic week at the Los Suenos Marriott. The resort is beautifully maintained and every staff member we interacted with was so helpful and friendly. The food and drinks were on the pricey side but otherwise excellent. The resort is smaller than the mega-resorts you might find in Mexico or the DR but this is an advantage if what you're looking for is relaxing with friends and family rather than a non-stop party. It was always easy to find a chair by the pool or beach. The town of Jaco is only 10 minutes away if you're looking for more typical beach town sights, bars, restaurants, surfing, etc. We can't wait to come back.

All inclusive, gain lots of pounds, professional service, beautiful scenery, we did not play golf but woke up to jog early in the morning, those birds really sing beautiful, the room was clean, the pool got very crowded, they offer you for more money an exclusive area, for an all inclusive package we chose not to, they bring you drinks. That's all, I decided to go get them myself. The beach is public, so if you are looking for a quiet beach, that's not one. Several restaurants, delicious food. Great place.

This is a great facility that does a lot for the people who work here. Also a fantastic resort with great food and amenities. I can’t recommend the spa enough. Even if you don’t want a treatment, try the facilities.

We stayed here in December 2017 for our honeymoon and had a wonderful experience. The property is beautiful and we were treated so well by everyone that we encountered. The food/drink was a little pricey but we still spent way less than we would have at an all-inclusive resort. Despite the price, the food was phenomenal! During our stay we went off site to do horseback riding, a rainforest hike, and zip-lining — all of which we highly recommend. We are already looking forward to our next stay at the Los Suenos Marriott!

Excellent sea view a quiet place.

A first class place, a beautiful colonial style in its buildings and a luxury and attention to detail. It's top notch. Magnificent hotel to facilities and yes, it is expensive, but in value and value is totally exactly what one pays for the stay. I recommend it.

Felt right at home at this resort. Marlon the front office manager advised me to stay longer based on our needs and I’m so glad I took that up. We were originally going to stay for 2 nights and we extended to 4 because our 2.5 year old was having an absolute blast.
Rooms: they need an upgrade for sure but they were clean, spacious and comfortable — we were in only for naps and bedtime
Pool: very big but divided into smaller pools all connected — we could find a nook and jus…t hang out as a family or be closer to the main action.
Activities: lots of fun things throughout the day from water aerobics, dance lessons, water polo and more
The kids club was the highlight for us — it is right next to the pool so our son could hang out with the super sweet staff Evelyn, Ignacio, Karen & Keisy who read to him, drew, painted, built lego homes and so much more. He usually picked the club over pool/beach.

Food: the breakfast was really really good — great options for vegetarians, kids, lacto-ovo intolerances (like myself) they had a pancake and cookie station with lots of sugary colorful toppings for kids (my son was not interested but it was super cute) Claudia and Henry were so sweet and very attentive.
Our fav was hacienda kitchen we didn’t care for the steak house or Zoë Mediterranean as much.

Fantastic service beyond belief. Beautiful grounds. Near interesting shopping. And marina. Rooms old and worn. Crazy expensive food & drink. Pool water was way too warm and deck too hot to walk on bare foot. Not a good beach.

We rented a 8 BR beautiful house and 13 of us shared it — we each had our own bed! Felt like living in a millionaires dream with the marina in the front yard. Maid service came with the house as well as iguanas! Awesome pool and just a wonderful place to stay while exploring the beauty of Jaco and Los Suenos, Costa Rica. Definitely would re — visit and stay here again!

This place is amazing. Customer Service is top notch, and the views are spectacular. I highly recommend staying here while close to Jaco or Herradura. I do not have one bad thing to say of this place. We will be back soon.

I'm biased because I got engaged here, but this place truly is a dream. The staff is simply outstanding and we enjoyed all of the amenities especially the pool, restaurants, golf, and tennis courts. It was a relaxing place to stay while going on various excursions throughout the area. We will most certainly return.

We had a wonderful 8 night stay! The staff was friendly, the rooms were nice, the food was delicious. Room service and the restaurants were great. We were there to rest and relax and I loved that we could order from any restaurant and have it delivered. The breakfast buffet was amazing! Loved it! My only issue with it is that they only served Pepsi products and I am a hardcore Coke products guy. I brought my own drink and kept it in the room.

A great experience this hotel, has a beach something (with natural garbage of palm trees and things) but very quiet, I nade in the sea and there are almost no waves. The service of the best, the room was large, with access to the garden, a very good view. The huge pool, with a bar for drinks, to take off the raw of the night before. Nearby, in light vehicle, there are restaurants and bars in case you do not want to eat at the hotel. The price is extremely expensive, but Marriott points fast quite a lot.

Very beautiful destination resort. The grounds are an amazing display and a treat for a person who loves gardening and plants. The pool area is awesome. I cannot wait to return!

I recently at lunch at the Bambú Sushi and Asian Cuisine restaurant at Los Suenos and was quite impressed. The staff were friendly, the food was tasty, and the prices were quite reasonable. If I found myself back in the area I would more than likely return to this restaurant.

Horrible. These people act like they HATE Americans, we went to the sushi restaurant OSCAR had a horrible attitude! No matter what we asked the answer was No and he would just get mad and walk away, finally after 30 minutes we got our sushi, he NEVER CANE BACK TI FILL UP OUR DRINKS! After we finished we went to the taxi service ALEX QUOTED US ALMOST DOUBLE! What we paid to get to the Marriot to get back to our hotel Villa Caletas! When we questioned why he immediately an attitude as left the desk. It isn’t worth the hassle at all to even try this place. You will be absolutely miserable dealing with such HATEFUL people.

Stunning resort with a gorgeous golf course. Got to play a full round and spend a lot of time in the pool. Only good things to say about the place!

Huge Pacific Ocean-side resort with golf course. The beach is not very nice, but the maze of pools make up for it. The numerous restaurants are good. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable.

Love, love, love it! Our first trip to Costa and have the great fortune to stay at Los Suenos. As much as love the beach, the pool, the chilli guaros, the people who work at this resort make it so much more amazing than it already is. We have enoubtered both in but friendly courtesy, literally every single person is uber awesome! We shall return, next time with the kids!

We stayed here during our honeymoon, and had a wonderful time. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurants and bars were great, and the spa services were excellent. The location of the hotel is great, there was a lot to do in the area.

Room was very spacious, clean, great view Pool was amazing and open rally late, and always kept at a great temp. Hospitality was very welcoming. Valet service was great there's ways someone able to get your car at anytime. There's at 3 bars for guest. Including one in the pool with a full meals, drinks. Has all the things you would need on the property.

Wonderful place in Costarica. If you want to relax, it will be one of the best place. But there is no activity in here and some expensive.

It exudes a calm, the Cafe Dolce Vita has super fine pastries, and just further forward is an Italian restaurant, also very fine. However, more for the thicker purse.

We stayed in May, and it was wonderful. Our visit to Los Suenos exceeded our expectations. The hotel gave us a gorgeous ocean view. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially in the restaurant and at the cabanas. The hotel was up to Marriott standards, of course. Although the forecasts on the Weather Channel app predicted 80% chance of rain for the entire week, we received maybe 15 minutes of rain. Mornings were sunny. The beach is black sand (not muddy as it might appear in photos), easy to walk on far into the surf, and the water exquisitely warm. Visibility was good, as I could see my toes with the water neck deep. La Iguana Golf Course was beautiful and in very good shape. In addition to the surrounding jungle, we enjoyed sighting macaws and monkeys as we played our round. I don't usually care to eat much at a hotel, but we had wonderful food on several visits to La Vista Restaurant at the resort, situated above the elaborate swimming pools. A variety of good restaurants are also nearby at the marina, on the south side of the resort, and in the town of Jaco. We enjoyed a wildlife walking tour and a huge "private" beach in Antonio Manuel National Park, a two-hour drive to the south. After our stay at Los Suenos, we drove three hours north, to Monteverde, in the "cloud forest. " The green mountains, clouds and rain forest made the drive captivating. In Monteverde, we toured the rain forest on suspended walking bridges and zip line. Fun!

Liked that it was close to Jaco and convenient for day trips to explore different parts of Costa Rica. Staff was exceptional! Very friendly and willing to help in any way possible or even have a simple conversation. The room was not anything exceptional but honestly we were there only in the evenings and to sleep. Also the AC did not work well as it was extremely humid in the room. I liked how they had a computer with Internet so you did not HAVE to pay for Wi-Fi. The pool was nice and not overly crowded when we went. My only complaint would be that the food and drinks were expensive but it forced us to go experience local cuisine. I highly recommend this hotel for those who would like a nice place to stay that is not all inclusive. Also if you want a great "home base" for Costa Rican exploring this is just the place for you!

The hotel is very nice. I love the large pool with. The beach front the hotel not is of the most beautiful in the country. To see beautiful beaches iria to Manuel Antonio. The food in the place is very good, but at the same time face.

We just returned a few days ago after staying at the Los Suenos Marriott for a week. The resort is beautiful and we enjoyed having your beverage containers of fruit infused water in the lobby during the day. Your employees were wonderful. Our room was infested with tiny bugs on the bathroom vanity, the desk and the counter above the fridge. Our daughter's room didn't have these bugs… not sure what the problem was in our room but they were a nuisance and irritating. We really enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet and some of the other choices for meals, but were disappointed in the 18& Greene Steakhouse. Our suggestion would be to keep your guests from spending their money in the restaurants and stores at the marina, to lower the prices Marriott charges… not only in the restaurants but the gift shop; a $9 bag of Doritos is ridiculous. Costa Rica is beautiful and so is your hotel. We enjoyed Costa Rica and the Los Suenos Marriott except for what I have noted here. We hope you appreciate our honest review.

I can't say enough about how well we were treated and how wonderful our stay was with Los Suenos Marriott. The beautiful location and the wildlife made it a nice way to soak in the sun and enjoy our time on the coast. The buffet breakfast was outstanding and having fresh mango juice to start the day was perfect.
