Everything about this house was amazing, we loved our stay here! The concierge staff was very helpful and contributed to a wonderful vacation.
Beautiful country, great waves, friendly people, and very safe. I explored the beaches and surfed the waves around Tamarindo for a week with 2 of my best friends from high school. We had an incredible time, my favorite part was getting off the beaten path to some of the more local beaches and surf breaks. Tamarindo was less appealing to me, too much of an American / European tourist influence for my tastes. In Costa Rica, the locals say "Pura Vida" which means simple life or pure life. It's more than just a saying. It's a philosophy and a lifestyle that more people should tap into. We're looking forward to a return trip.

We rented a home through Stay In Tamarindo and the staff was very helpful and flexible making this vacation happen. Here's a review of the place we rented. It is a wonderful home with plenty of room for our party of 7 to spread out — makes sense to stay here versus 3 or more hotel rooms at the nearby (2km) JW Marriott Mansita. This home is modern inside with a charming, high quality colonial style outside. This house construction and style is on a par with the JW Marriott Mansita and backs up to the golf course. Nice plunge pool in the gated courtyard which our kids loved. Not on the beach but nearby, about 2km with very little civilization on the way although you do follow a paved road, and the Club Playa is less than 4km away which we accessed with our golf cart we rented — it was delivered to the house. You need a golf cart to get around in a practical way. The beach is absolutely wonderful and the beach club is luxurious and beautiful, much like the house. We had a chef cook in the modern kitchen and had dinner in the spacious dining room. Very secure, you must pass two guarded gates to get into the area of this house, and there is security patrolling the area. I frequent the nearby Marriott for work and just love this area. I highly recommend this house, it is clean and well maintained, and the friendly service from the staff at Stay Tamarindo who handled the rental was kind, professional, and truly exceptional. We will be back. Enjoy this secure Oasis near Tamarindo.
