Excellenteeeeee we were served as family, very well the location the service and good price and most importantly for us we were welcomed to the two puppies.

Beautiful hotel, thoughtful and attentive service, creative and intellectually lively place! Council!

Great location and nice bungalows. Bar at the pool and Italian restaurant inside.

Very good service, toilet and best of all is the treatment towards animals. It's a Pet friendly place.

The pool is not very clean the attention is not very good.

I came here with my family last summer and one of the maids stole some of my jewelry. I found about it once I flew back to my country. I emailed the owner on the hotel's website and until today I have not had a response. I will not be going back to this hotel.

The place is beautiful, we had a super good. The owners Simona and Pino are excellent hosts, super attentive and friendly, the place very clean, super close to the center and despite that there was no noise at night. To enjoy with family or couple… we recommend, do not forget to go.

Very cute little hotel off the beaten path in Tamarindo but not too far away to walk places. Very pleasant owners.

Seemed nice some rooms have access some don't. It is pretty pricey compared to air BNB.

The rooms are beautiful and the atmosphere is relaxed. On the other hand the breakfast is small. You are quickly hungry during the day. Their pizza is good and the Smoothies are good. The location of the hotel is very close to the beach. (5 min walk). Lots of sodas and restaurant next door. So it's usually worth it.

Nice Hotel, especially I liked the pool. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good.

I went during low season the women promised me the rate, there's a Sign claiming a discount, but when I had to pay with card because my chip is broken for atm, the owner was quick to charge me extra. Not a very kind owner. No breakfast, not even juice. No laundry service, and no washing clothes on site. The young women who works is very snippy and not very friendly to English speakers who need help.

With so many choices of places to stay in Tamarindo, it can be overwhelming. But my wife read lots of great reviews about this location so Hotel Luna Llena it was. It's the kind of place where while lounging around the pool, you might see a cat curled up next to a dog taking a nap, a squirrel or monkey overhead eating fruit from one of the many trees, or a geeko flitting by. It's almost as if they built this little paradise around any foliage or vegetation they encountered so as to not disturb any of it. When I mentioned it was my wife's birthday to the owner, she was back in a flash with a cute gift. Conscientious owners overseeing a charming, unique, and quiet place just a few minutes walk to the Pacific. Perfecto!

It is beautiful, comfortable, spacious, close to downtown and the beach. Also allows pets :)

Clean, well priced, friendly, walking distance to everything but just far enough away for a bit if privacy. And breakfast is included.

My family and I have stayed here on various occasions over the years. We find the service and attention to detail wonderful. The food is wholesome and delicious. I wholehearted recommend this intimate hotel. On a side note. The owners are truly dedicated community members. They have created a park for children in Tamarindo, they are ardent supporters of a local association that helps underprivileged children, and they are founders of a non-profit organization to help wildlife. Apart from a great stay at this hotel your patronage will find it's way to helping the community overall.

Very nice and secluded. You absolutely must dine at their Italian Restaurant. People were very friendly and the cost of the hotel was very reasonable.
