Our three generation family of 17 just had a fabulous week in the Muri Lagoon Lodge. Communication with staff was excellent. The rooms were generous and the family atmosphere really suited us we loved the garden spaces and outdoor showers and the drying room for our large group was a real bonus.
One of us learned to kite board. All of us saw and swam with turtles on the beach below the lodge. Perfect location. Near Muri night market. Lots of eating choices. Thank you Imai and the team. We hope to come back one day.

We paid for our wedding guests to stay here a few years ago, everyone had a great time, all agreed it was a great location, clean and well serviced.

We stayed at Muri Lagoon Lodge for seven unforgettable nights with a group of 15 friends, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The lodge was absolutely perfect—spacious, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone to relax without ever feeling cramped.
The location is unbeatable—right by the beautiful Muri Lagoon with stunning views, easy access to the beach, and just a short walk to local cafes and shops. Whether we were swimming, snorkelling or just lounging on the deck, it felt like paradise every day.
The property was spotless when we arrived, and everything we needed was thoughtfully provided. From large communal spaces for group meals and games to cozy private rooms for quiet downtime, the layout worked so well for a big group like ours. We especially loved the garden rooms with their own private out door showers.
The hosts were warm, responsive, and made sure our stay was seamless from start to finish. You can tell they really care about their guests having a great time.
If you’re looking for the perfect place in Rarotonga for a group getaway, Muri Lagoon Lodge is it. We’re already talking about coming back next year.

My family and I stayed here for 3 nights. The only thing that I didn’t like about this lodge was the way their showers were built. There were no doors on the showers and the shower curtains weren’t long enough to block the water from splashing out. Everything else was great. Closer to the beach and to shops. And there’s an awesome breeze out on the deck at anytime of the day.

Absolutely fantastic time here. Pictures are old as this place has been upgraded since then. Also the map shows it being the yellow house where it is the big place next door with the fence around it. Great cooking facilities and 5 min walk to the night markets and the yacht club for great meals and drinks if you cannot be bothered cooking. Lots of restaurants and cafe's and markets within walking distance. Great place for groups.

Location! 50m from the best beach on the island. On the beach side of the road. Close to cafes and night market. Great value. Would be excellent for large families and groups booking the entire property.

I really liked the outdoor showers and taps to wash of after going to the beach. It is close to the store down the road and night market, also close to cafe's around muri.
