It's great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Friendly and effective. Very clean all areas and super home-cooked food.

I was there for a Give Me Your Tongue event. It is a pleasant atmosphere and is a good space, however I do not like the price of the dishes. I was charged $9 for a plate consisting of 1 potato and cheese. 500, which I considered disrespectful given the cost and dish offered.

Fantastic hostel with very friendly and helpful staff. Great common areas, cool bar/restaurant area with good food and cocktails. Extra privacy in the dorms because of individual curtains. Some of the 4-bed dorms have brand new beds with sockets and storage right by the side of your bed.

The nicest in Bogotá for sure! Great staff, quality breakfast, fantastic tours and info is offered. Rooms are clean and tidy, beds are comfortable, always hot water… Only good things to say, I’ll be back :)

Really liked this hostel. Beds are well designed with individual lights and sockets. The kitchen is really smart and very clean. Staff are friendly. They have a huge luggage storage room which has been invaluable for our coming and going. Good bar and lots of different activites on through the week!

It is a lovely place, and very familiar atmosphere that takes you to know the culture of the city and its population. Your rooms are very comfortable. My lodging there was delicious.
Your dancing lessons are so much fun.

Superbe Hostel situé dans le quartier typique de la Candelaria. Le bâtiment dispose de plusieurs cours intérieures / patio, certaines couvertes et lumineuses avec de nombreux fauteuils confortables pour se reposer et échanger avec d'autres voyageurs. Il y a également un bar ainsi qu'une cuisine commune et un restaurant. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux et varié. Laverie sur place. Les chambres et dortoirs sont confortables avec un rangement que l'on peut fermer à clé. Des excursions sont proposées à l'accueil et le personnel, très agréable parle aussi bien anglais, français qu' Espagnol. De nombreux événements sont organisés comme des concerts le vendredi soir. Un très bon endroit pour backpackers!

Wonderful, clean hostel with easy walking access to the rest of the city. The showers were hot, the common areas were so comfy and conducive to conversation, breakfast was delicious (especially pancakes), and the bar was staffed with friendly and smiley faces. I stayed here with a group of 15 people, and the staff treated us with nothing but respect and provided us advice whenever we needed it. I would recommend this hostel to my close friends!

Nice beautiful hostel in a nice colonial Spanish casona. Surprisingly big on the inside. Always something happening here. Friendly and professional staff. Recommended.

Great hostel with nice sized rooms, good Wi-Fi, hot water in showers (although you have to wait a minute or so). Really friendly staff, happy hour and amazing breakfast at an additional reasonable price.

It is a cozy place, the bar has daily activities and the staff treatment is excellent. I'll come back whenever I can!

I would highly recommend anyone to stay at the hostel. It's clean and very well managed.

Hostel Masaya was my first Hostel experience, and I highly recommend it. It had friendly staff, that spoke good english, a gated front door for security, a great bar and restaurant area, good breakfast that was affordable, great Wifi — at least in certain spots — hot water for showers, and the option of both private or mixed dorm rooms.

We just hung out there one night. Seemed nice and had a bar and a good common area.

Nice hangout/social spaces, decently comfy beds, a nice breakfast and good location make this a very solid hostel. Our twin room was kind of tiny (much smaller than the double bed rooms for some reason) and was a bit musty/moldy smelling, perhaps because of the rainy season and room location. I'd come back if I could get a better room.

Great hostel facilities and well laid out but bad mattresses!

Masaya hotels are the best! Plenty of patios, delicious breakfast, pretty quiet for a youth hostel, extremly comfortable and giant beds when you book a private. Showers are good and clean. Staff is adorable and have great advice.
