Great hostel with good atmosphere and hangout areas. Friendly kiwi owner. They provide laundry service at a cheap price. Only downside is it is in a kind of out of the way area.

One of the best hostels in Medellín. Three terraces, convenient location, polite and responsive staff, available lockers, laundry, as well you can buy drinks including beer, juices. There is a kitchen where you can cook food. Free coffee is included.

Good clean faclities, hot water, cheap drinks, great location, friendly staff, nice outdoor areas. Could use cheap bfast like pancakes and cheap fruit… Would make the hostel better value. But overall great place to stay in Medellin.

Third time here, why go anywhere else? Staff are great, hostel is very clean and it's far enough out of town for quite nights, but also close enough to walk to all the bars and restaurants.

I didn't stay overnight but I visited friend on many occasions their. Hostel has a great vibe to it and the staff are definitely a big part of it. They offer loads of tours for you to try. I would recommend this hostel.

Excellent hostel in Medellin, super near the center to 4 stations downtown, the neighborhood is super quiet much like Miraflores in Lima Peru.

Magnificent Hostel in the village if you are ready to meet other bacpackers and have new experiences this is the place to stay comfortable rooms and the staff super attentive to all your needs.

Great social hostel. I enjoy my personal space but also like to hang out with others now and then, so I got a private room and still paid less than $150 for 7 days. Friendly staff and decently clean. This is a good value for the money.

So I've never stayed in a hostel before, however, the location, price, and friendliness of the staff are great. The accommodations are basic but it's everything you need especially since he probably won't be spending much time in your room. The hostel has occupancy for about 100 people and you will meet plenty of people to hang out with and make new friends. Every night there's something going on, most commonly people head over to Happy Buddah hostel to socialize with people there because they have a bar. The rooms are comfortable and they have all the basic necessities. I stayed in a private room so this review is with respect to that. The shared bathrooms are the comparable the ones in the private rooms. I'm not sure what it is but this place is very popular among Germans, Aussies, and Kiwis. I met people here from Hong Kong and the United States as well. It's a good diverse group. The building is a red brick building with a white gate at the entrance. Right next door is another "artsy" hostel that looks the same but with a different name. It's not labeled so it might be confusing to find, which is why I added a description here. When you use Uber, they tend to pick you up about three buildings down the road for some reason… Make sure you drop the pin on your location correctly so that this can get fixed permanently for all users.

Stayed here in Apr 2016. Had such a good time I stayed a second time during my trip. The location is near a train station and a grocery store. They are both about a 5 min walk. The kitchen has enough stuff to cook a good meal. Shares fridge. The location is in a residential area. There isn't a view or anything but there are about 4 different spots to chill at. Upper level, lower level, out front… just grab a beer and meet your fellow travelers.

The staff is lovely and will help you with everything you need. The site is quiet, clean and spacious rooms and many of the rooms and terraces to meet some good people!

A great place to rest, to learn of other cultures and to meet interesting people. It has a staff of spectacular, which will help and guide you to get to know the city.

Fantastic hostel! Really helpful staff. Lots of room options. Great kitchen. Lots of places to chill and relax plus quiet hours at night so you'll sleep well. A perfect place to stay in Medellin!

Very good place to meet people and enjoy a very good stay.

This hostel is located in a very nice and safe neighborhood in the El Poblado district. The staff were nice, helpful and easy going. I have to say the city map is just fantastic! There are common areas both indoors and outdoors to meet other travelers as well as a TV room with big sofas to laze around if you're tired. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the area with all the restaurants but this was totally not a problem. The place felt safe, and the bathrooms were clean. There's a nice big kitchen to cook if you want to. Definitely recommend.

So I've read a lot of these reviews and came to the conclusion that the people who don't like this place stayed in dorms. I myself was in Columbia for 19 days and this was my last hostel on my trip and as far as columbian hostels go this was probably the best. It was in a great location, the private room with bath was only $28, although I did book a private room with no bath, the owner gave me a private room with a bathroom for the same price. SCORE! The room had direct TV and a big flat screen TV with a futon. The place was very clean and showers had great pressure and hot water. The owner and staff were very helpful. People that complain about dorms should shut up about noisy and smelly and stuffy rooms and just pay the $19 a night more a for private room. This place was awesome. Highly recommend it!
