Selina is the best experience a traveler should experience, my time at Selina Medellin has made me reflect that fun can be found in magical places, with spectacular people and above all that inspire you to share.

There's been no way they're going to give me restaurant information. They send me back and forth and they don't give me an answer.

Find between so much chaos such wonderful people who care about giving a little bit of peace, welfare and love of the staff of the health is a blessing. I am a general medical and my boyfriend is a resident of internal medicine, both live with family risk and decided while passing all this away for the good of all, among the many days of stress thinking where to go and what to do appeared the hotel Selina, with all the best intentions to welcome us and take care of us, without asking us a single weight, without ask nothing in exchange, just to rest to be able to stand up well and be able to continue with our work, a quiet place, with good energy, comfortable and above all full of a wonderful staff that is willing to do anything! Thank you infinite forever.

Beautiful hostel with friendly staff and clean accommodations. But the the biggest asset to the hostel, is Indira the experience supervisor, or as we were calling her, the ambassador of friendliness! She truly cares about the guest experience and went out of her way to make myself and many other guests feel welcome. Selina will continue to excel with people like Indira on the staff.

Best establishment I have ever stayed in. 5 star everything… Food, drinks, security, vibe is perfect for the well seasoned and bohemian type traveler… Stimulate your senses and breathe in the sweet essence of Selina Medellin… I dont think I ever want to leave… Its that good… SALUD to all the wonderful workers who make me feel welcome and make me laugh every day I am here… TOP TOP TOP.

Pro: Really really cool decor for a hostel and it’s massive. The beds were comfy and the shower was hot. Arcade games are cool (you have to pay). Kitchen is big. Pool table. Con: Shout out to the lad on reception that wouldn’t change a note for my taxi and was very rude in a distressing time. The A/C didn’t work. Everything was expensive. No vibe — almost too big for the amount of people that stay. I think everyone is too posh to make friends here.

Used their coworking space for a month while staying in Medellin. While there was plenty of space and good access to phone booths, the kitchen was pretty tiny (only 4-5 people could fit at a time). And during evening/night hours, the music from the hostel was very audible. Not such an issue during daytime hours.

We were on the 8th floor rooms (ABSOLUTELY worth paying the extra money for private room/bathroom). The hotel was clean and accommodating, they have a bar, cafe, and a dance area along with cool areas to relax. I felt safe at all times and they even have a guard downstairs during the night. The room was spacious, had a mini bar for purchase and they had a room AC (it's not very efficient once 10/11 am comes around. They also provided mini bottles of body wash/ shampoo/ conditioner, do not expect to find a hair dryer or iron though only the above mentioned items (I never asked the front desk though). If you are arriving at night, with a party, expect to have HUGE delays in getting a room. They only staff one person at night and there's only so fast that he can check everyone in. We came in with a large planned group and I was very surprised they didn't plan accordingly.

I saw this hotel online and booked the room based of some nice looking photos. The hotel is not cheap by any means so I thought it would be good. I arrived to find the room is very basic with mostly old recycled furniture. It’s the bare minimum for a room with an extremely uncomfortable bed. The room did not even have a fan or AC and it is hot. There is a bar in this place that blasts music At all hours of the night. This is a hostel charging hotel prices. Poor quality.

If your into staying at very boring, no soul, hipster wannabe, MC — FRANCHISE chain hostels owned by Israeli billionaire hedge funds then this place is perfect for you and your Trumpster friends. For people who posses a social conscious and enjoy supporting locals and unique cultures then I suggest staying with Colombians at one of their many fantastic hostels right down the street. Just say no to corporately owned hostels, it’s really really gross.

Nice little hostel. The rooms are small but acceptable for the price. Did not eat in the bar but it looked good. The hostel had a cinema room. Only real complaint was that the air con in the room didn't work.

A good place, the rooms are very good, clean and very well decorated and the attention equally very good. The only drawback is that on my last day of stay they started Doing repairs out of my room and not let me sleep because it started very early. But in general a good experience. Would come again.

Really cool space! We stayed in a private room. It was really clean and in a prime location. We were able to walk everywhere we needed to go for drinks and food. Another plus was the bar downstairs. They have live music and breakfast.

This is an amazing Hostel in the El Pablado neighborhood of Medellin, which is walking distance to Parque Lleras (beautiful, popular park) which is the center of a bustling area full of bars, restaurants, and clubs. I stayed in the dorm style room, which was well ventilated, clean, and SAFE! I left my tablet and my backpack full of all my belongings out in the open with no problems at all. Key cards are given upon arrival to access the rooms, which are very secure. I stayed here for 5 days and in that short stay, the staff made me feel like apart of their close knit and friendly family. The staff including Jon and Dana the bartenders and the manager Alejandro among many other staff were extraordinarily friendly and helpful. This hostel has beautiful graffiti throughout the entire place. This hostel also features a co-work area with strong Wi-Fi, guest Wi-Fi, a tattoo parlor, a salon, and clothing shops. Also offered is a super fun and interactive bar with a great happy hour called "The Playground" with a pool table and great music. This hostel also holds daily yoga classes and other daily events like salsa classes or spanish classes. Overall, this is a very chill, amazing place to stay where you can meet locals as well as friends from around the world. It's clean, fun, and friendly. I would highly recommend staying here for an affordable and exciting stay in a great neighborhood. Cheers.
