What a wonderful hotel! The place looks great, and even better at night time. The location is a little out of the center, which is great for us. It's next to a beautiful canal that is like a fairy tale setting at night. The hotel is also like this. I went with my girlfriend for a birthday getaway, and had a wonderful time. The staff are very good, polite, helpful, and added to the experience. The room was prefect, and felt luxurious and expensive, without costing the earth. The breakfast was great way to start the day with lots of choices. The hotel has its own bar and coffee at the back which is on the canal front, an we had a romantic walk along the canal at night after our dinner and dessert in the coffee shop. You can easily get a taxi or local bus to downtown Hangzhou, West lake, or Xixi park. Downside, the 1000rmb for deposit is a little high. Apart from that, it's a great place to stay. We will be staying at the same hotel next time we go to Hangzhou. A big thank you to all the staff at the hotel.
