Nice room, clean but the hotel has some growing pains. This is a new hotel and our room was really spacious and clean. They had bottles of water in the hallway which was nice. The breakfast was very good. The front desk and restaurant people were very nice but there were some service and language issues as they don't speak good English but this is not Beijing or Shanghai and it is China after all! :) All in all recommended.

Lively part of Luoyang. Right next to Wang Cheng Park, which is a good place to see the Peony festival when in season. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. The tall blue building has a distinct handsome look and easy to spot from a distance. The lobby is in the 16th floor so don't be confused if the ground floor doesn't look like a typical hotel lobby. Very helpful reception folks. Not everyone spoke English but one person spoke good English and could help us with directions to get around town. They have a lounge area with large screen computer stations with fast Internet, free to use if you need. Rooms are typical hyatt place. Spacious minimalist chic. Lovely view overlooking the park. Fantastic shower. Great breakfast buffet with a wide spread of western cuisine, as well as a live counter preparing all kinds of local dishes. Not very close to Longmen train station or the Grottoes. But easy to get cabs right outside the hotel. About 30 min to the station and 45 minutes to the longmen grottoes.
