It’s one of the best hotels in Beijing.

I experienced that the room service was very poor. Twice the food they serve was cold.
Nobody speaks really good English.

Do not expect too much about clean. It just fine to living, I don’t think it aligns with Hilton standard. But Hilton is still the best choice in traveling, especially in China, way better than others. Hilton will be my next choice next time, just a place to sleep.

Nice hotel. The bellmen/concierges (they seem to do both jobs in China stuff is a bit odd) were great! They treat helped a lot with cabdrivers, directions, recommendations, etc. We ate quite a few meals at the hotel. Every breakfast — which was good, but if it had been MY MONEY. No way. Maybe one meal in one of the swanky restaurants, and a couple of breakfasts. Maybe. The breakfast is good, but not at the high price. Tht swanky restaurants — no way. Interesting, but makes New York City look reasonable. Sigh. Again, on my own … Wouldn't have stayed here and would have eaten here rarely. I find it particularly galling that there is a MANDATORY service charge — like 15% on meals in a country that tipping is gauche. Sigh. Not centrally located at all.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. I dont see how this hotel can be a 4 star hotel, it is old and dated and the bed is terrible. Comparable to some chinese 2 star hotels. Super soft bed that bounce a lot. Pillows are understuffed so prepare to ask for more pillows. For the price you pay, you can choose from many nicer hotels. The Renaissance are nice. Unless you must be at this location, I would highly recommend choosing elsewhere. Breakfast was good, but could use more freshly prepared foods or juice. The staff was very nice. Too bad the beds we not.

Great hotel. The breakfast was amazing with a huge selection and tasty food. Rooms were clean staff was nice. My only complaint is that the water temperature fluctuated a bit during my morning showers.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone We flew over for business and stayed in Shijiazhuang. Luckily we didn't stay at the Hilton. We stayed at a Chinese 5 star hotel, we then went to Beijing and thought to give the Hilton a go. Staff was good, however food was disgusting. The room itself was terrible no wonder why it is cheaper. If you go to China stay at a Chinese hotel they make you feel more welcome and there standards are way better.

Accommodations are generally nice! Beds are comfortable. Location is convenient to line 7 metro stqgion. Pillows are too soft and they charge 60 Yuan to use a pair of shower slippers. Hotel restaurant is also super expensive.

I think it's a fantastic place.

We were in June the hotel has good location, the rooms are very big and nice. Breakfast was very good.

Big Shower head was faulty, sprayed water to the ceiling… The porters were the best thing about the hotel, followed by the breakfast.

Great hotel! Very nice rooms and conveniently located. Pricing is very good as well!

Room is nice but could have more light! If you need to work you need more light. Great Breakfast. Disappointing Dinner! Waitresses who speaks only Chinese and are new at the job should not serve not Chinese speaking guests. And also the management should not allow it without help. It took forever to get the right food. Also the Bar is pretty messy, management should get the serving area better organized. Other than this it is ok. Will be back, because other than that it is ok and not to far away from attractions.

Fabulous hotel. So delicious chocolate chip and nuts cookie as welcome treat! Close to city, supermarket, and public transportation. Free but slow Wi-Fi. Very strange that hotel didn't have champagne glasses. Overall very good experience! I'd recommend this place to anyone coming through SNA tours.

I was customer of Double Tree Beijing by Hilton from March 21st to 27th this year 2017 for a congress and some business meetings. During my days there I took money from the ATM machine (service announced in the hotel webpage) inside the hotel lobby by the restaurant. In particular I took 3000 and 1000 RMB. My surprise when trying to use the money is that part of the money was false, in particular I realized (and was verified in the hotel) that there was 12 100RMB bills that were not real. Perhaps were more but I paid to anyone without realizing. I went to explain the situation to the frontdesk and was asked several times if I gave my money to anyone that could change it. Of course I did not, I am used to business trips and I am very careful with the money abroad, no one touched my wallet, nobody touched the bills and the ATM in the Double Tree hotel was the only place where I took money in China… So, the situation is clear…. I was told to go to the bank owner of the ATM. I explained the ATM was a service of the hotel so should be the hotel the one taking care of the problem…. But with no result. I requested anyone of the hotel to go with me, but the understanding was terrible… Finally, the bank took the money (1200RMB) and the hotel manager told me I would receive an email to check if it is possible a refund in one week… Today is one week from this day with no communication.

They just upgraded from CAT2 to CAT3, which means you need 20000. Hilton points per night to redeem. But still, the location of this hotel is so perfect. 3min walk to subway, 2 room type upgrades for Hilton Diamond members with full executive lounge… what else can you expect for!

I would like to express my thanks and appreciation for the service and care I received at Double Tree By Hilton from 28/12 to 31/12. I took my family on our vacation in Beijing and I wanted it to be perfect. Your staff did not disappoint me even one bit. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the bellman who offered to assist us with our bags. We went straight up to the exec lounge for checking in process. After a speedy check-in since I pre check in via HHonours Ap…p, Carol & Jeffrey (AFOM) gave us a quick rundown on the features. Both of them did a great job. Executive Lounge — Staff is efficient, attentive and friendly. Evening cocktail spread is good ranging from alcoholic drinks to heavenly desserts. Your concierge, Andy, was able to plan my 2 days itinerary and it went perfect. I was amazed by his great and honest service. He did guide me almost what we need to do in Beijing. Thank you for the 'upgrade' as well. Special thanks to Frank from concierge as he did assist me in my enquiries as well. Staying in Double Tree Beijing Hotel actually enhanced our vacation experience. We engaged with their limousine service for 8 hours and we got the best and friendly driver, Mr Liu. Thank you for a wonderful ride. Especially for muslim travellers, trust me this is by far the best hotel I have stayed and getting halal food is very accessible as it is just opposite the hotel (3mins walk) and 7-11/Starbucks is just a minute away.

Very nice hotel. Clean spacious room, excellent friendly staffs, convenient location. I love the rain shower. The bakery around the corner is also good. Breakfast is great with so many choices to choose from. Metro is just 8 minutes walk.

Fantastic location and a fantastic hotel. Service was on time and friendly, and the staff was super accommodating!

I was very impressed with this hotel. I stayed three nights in January. The hospitality and friendliness of the staff are exceptional. I had a corner deluxe room near the top with a great view of the area. Modern, great amenities, and clean facilities. The chocolate chip cookie was a bonus! Many English speaking staff made it very easy. Very close to metro. Maybe 2 blocks away makes access to the city very convenient.

Hotel happy room is slightly smaller. But the breakfast is very good to eat, stay also sent two cookies, ingredients are abundant. Rooms are very clean and tidy, attitude of the staff is also very friendly, overall is totally recommended.

Sheriff subway 100 m to the East, the transportation is convenient.
Room: Doubletree Deluxe pick away from the 17-story, great view, double-sided wall of large Windows overlooking Guang an men Wai Street. Only central air conditioning refrigeration effect is not very good. Bedding, bath products, decoration in General, not very upscale feel. Price is slightly expensive. Poor sound insulation, kids next door 2 midnight is still noisy, we can hear it hard to sleep.
Service: when you check in, hotel complimentary hot chocolate cookies at the front desk, very sweet, but chocolate is very rich. Fruit is served in the room at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, or 6 points, fruit quality, banana Apple PEAR are not ripe enough, is too sentimental. Also, the waiter that a warm welcome at the front desk is a bit long-winded. 3 floor of the hotel have a swimming pool, and offers free locker and towel, toiletries, pool is a standard lap, not many people swimming at 9 o'clock in the evening, water does not look too clean. Occupancy not gift vouchers.
Overall: price a little expensive, room decoration and services ought to be better.

One of the most amazing experience as a tourist in China. Hotel Ambassador Mr Edwards has the touch of a professional hotelier and his staff is always on the spot to care of any request. Breakfast is amazing and the variety is deliciously accompanied with great service. The Concierge staff are always very helpful on any task, it could be a limousine request, taxi or just simple question for shopping adviced. Just the right place for a first timer in Asia or a regular business trip.

Excellent Hotel in Beijing, Good breakfast menu and buffet offerings. Very close to Tienanmen square, forbidden city, etc. About an hr from airport — $100 CY. Staff is extremely helpful and they all speak English well. This hotel is attached to 4 story high end store malls and a french bakery which is very convenient because lot of items at the restaurant at the hotel are not cheap. If you have Hilton points, use it to redeem it here. Excellent hotel for the points. Wifi was only available in the lobby however will be available through out the hotel in Jan 2014.

First class hotel, but difficult to return to as Beijing taxis are always full and the Metro is 2 miles away.
