To have a good rest after flights, during our transit in Beijing, we decided to pick up a good hotel with a swimming pool and a sauna. Also, it was important that the hotel allowed late check-out.
Before making a reservation we phoned several hotels in Beijing, clarifying each possible check-out, a swimming pool and sauna. And in this hotel we have confirmed availability and swimming pools and saunas, as well as have said that in case of booking the Superior rooms, we will be able to go to 16:00. And we, having received these assurances, booked Superior room here.
Imagine what a shock and disappointment we experienced when morning learned that the swimming pool is closed for repairs for a long time! It turns out that reception employees knowingly introduced us, tricked, promising that we will be able to enjoy a swimming pool and a sauna. In the end, only sauna, but there were uncomfortable.
Hotel the gray, cold, and opposite panoramic Windows in the spa area is a huge construction site. The window is not washed, dirty. And the room too.
Breakfast is Chinese. Europeans here will not find anything tasty for myself.
In General, price is not justified, the hotel staff is not just not a decent hotel "5 stars". English language is understood very poorly, not cheating, some the whole truth.
We demanded to extend us as compensation by 21:00, but were refused. The Manager apologized for a long time, but the room was extended only to 3:00. It does very little for this deception and disappointment.
The area is also bad, around the houses, horrible Mall and everything. Neither normal nor Cafe restaurants.
In Beijing I stayed in much more cozy, clean and quality hotels than this, and for far less money.
