A hidden gem, beautiful, off the typical tourist path. A very tasteful boutique hotel, only a few villas, with thatched roofs and colorful Andean decorations. The garden, the pool area and the restaurant are also designed and decorated in the same cosy “hippie-chic”. Beautiful plants, especially giant cacti, everywhere. Very comfortable beds and bathrooms. The restaurant and the bar are excellent, a good wine and drinks list, and very kind and efficient service. There are a couple of tours available, to some beaches not too far away, and especially impressive, a sunset picnic in a remote, desert and lonely part of the Atacama sand dunes. Now waiting how the messages will be. We are enjoying the hotel a lot and will return for sure. Wara is as good as it gets in any of the Chilean hot spots.
