Terrible room, bathroom so small you can't dry yourself in there, hot, TV in an impossible position to be able to lay on the bed to watch it,! service and food at the Deck (their restaurant) was very ordinary.

Great place to stay the service was great, people were friendly.

Beer and very nice rooms and very clean. The staff are amazing.

Met my expectations‼️Clean, comfortable beds, staff very helpful, esp Tyler at the front desk. Had a nice bkfst in their restaurant. Not far from Main Street, easy parking. Was difficult to find a motel and so just booked here, very pleased… will return and let my family know about this secret in Whitehorse!

Thank you Kaori and Vivien I was having a rough day medically on Saturday and then on top of that I found out that some unexpected charges had been put on my credit card so I wasnt going to have enough room on my card for the room and deposit (which at the time I thought was $50). Kaori at the front desk listened and tried to explain why the deposit at this location was significantly higher. I was sad that this stay might not happen and I really needed this — with my medical nightmare I just needed to relax and get away from reality for awhile. Vivien stepped in and listened as well. She also tried to give solutions. In the end, to make my much needed getaway a reality, she let me check in and made alternate deposit arrangements. I literally cried as I made my way to my room. Thank you so much Kaori and Vivien for being human and understanding my situation. A lot of people would have just thrown policy in my face and that's kind of what I was expecting I guess. I really needed that kindness that day and I really appreciate it.

Quite accommodating, clean and roomy. We called last minute and were able to get a beautiful quiet room. The food from the restaurant was delicious. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We extended our stay an extra night with no fuss. The kids loved the playground next door and were thrilled with the entire stay.

Friendly staff yet the hotel has challenge in the layout and furnishings. The only shower in my room was part of a large spa tub which was really awkward to stand in! But clean, friendly, etc, so overall happy with the stay.

Outdated decor but clean and comfortable. Extremely comfortable beds and pillows. Jacuzzi tubs with awkward shower added as second thought (free yoga pose opportunities while washing your hair! )

Very excellent experience. From the staff at the front desk, to the cleaning staff, to management are all first class. The food is excellent in both restaurants. The bedrooms were exceptionally clean, the mattresses are very comfortable and the sheets are very comfortable. Overall this place made our trip. We will definitely be staying at the coast again on our next trip to Whitehorse. Thank you to everyone at the coast who was more than accommodating to us and our children.

Worst stay ever… Was a sweat box the whole stay. No air conditioning and they gave our room away the day we arrived. Said there was no note as to why we reserved the room we did. So they gave us a room where you had to crawl over a huge tub to get to the shower. Definitely not the coast hotel we are used to. And will never stay there again.

My stay was pleasant. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. My only disappointment was that the restaurant was closed earlier than advertised.

I'm very particular on the bedding. Most hotels offer a good bed and pillows, but the choice of pillows at the High Country Inn is on point. Literally has the best pillows to offer in all of Whitehorse, I'd stay another weekend, just for the pillows.

亚裔人千万别去！ We stood at the entrance waiting to be seated for about 5 minutes. We locked eyes with 2 servers multiple times. Not a single nod or smile or acknowledgement that we existed! We can't be sure and we don't want to state it is so, but we feel that it's because we're Asian tourists.

Went for lunch and had the brisket and poutine and it was wonderful. Service was great too, I just feel like the brisket could have some cheese on it without adding $1.50 on an already $17 sandwich with a smallish portion. Maybe I'm a piggy but just my thoughts.

Amazing hotel but not for the building. Amazing for the special staff that is working on it. Reception, Housekeeping, Bar and Restaurant. Everybody was always helpful, with a smile and making your stay better. Thank you Nicole, Deni, Vivien, Jeff, Taylor, Kelly, Gabrielle, Steven, Matt, Maria, to made me spend 2 amazing weeks in Whitehorse. The High country is a nice venue for a variety of events. I attended a Business After Hours event that was well catered and then went for food at the Deck. My portion was a bit small, but delicious! Service was fast and friendly.

Awesome staff members. Very friendly and helpful. Rooms were a little dated but comfortable. Beautiful views out big windows.

Great place, great service. They have outlets in the parking lot to plug your engine block heaters in when it's cold. Rooms are comfortable and the sheets are nice. Some rooms have jacuzzi tubs, which is great.

One of the most beautiful hotels in the city. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Free shuttle bus to the airport is perfect. The hotel is centrally located and you can explore the city on foot. Restaurant there super There is also very good and cheap breakfast with huge portions.

Love to stay at this place. It's rooms are comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a suite with a hot tub. It is well worth the money for a weekend getaway. The banquet rooms are spacious and the catering is delicious.

Comfortable rooms. Soft bed. Little shower and bathroom; great for smaller individuals. Nice place to stay. Staff was professional and friendly both at check in and check out. Look forward to staying there again.

Good place to stay, but not great. The room itself was fine and the bed was comfortable. Location was decent. My biggest complaint — The bathroom was TINY. We had a shower only room and the shower was itty bitty — like the smallest I have ever seen in a hotel. I'm a tiny person and still found it annoyingly difficult to get a shower in. Then, when you got out, you had to squeeze past the toilet to close the shower door or get to your towel. The handle on the toilet was under a counter and not easy to reach. I suppose there is not a lot they can do about it but just be aware. If you are a larger person you might consider a room with a tub. Our friends had a room with one one night of our stay and were very happy with the room that night. Bathroom was also dated and wallpaper was peeling. The main room seemed to be fine and more updated. I appreciated the large refillable soaps, etc in the bathrooms vs the minis in some hotels — much more Eco friendly! I recommend skipping the breakfast in the hotel if you stay here. We got there at 8 when they opened and it was still super slow. We needed to be at the train station for nine and almost didn't make it in time. It took us well over 30 minutes to get our food. My food was terrible (I had the berry crepes — bland, cold, and tasted like they had been made the day before and refrigerated), our friends was fine, but it's difficult to mess up eggs and toast. My husband had the French toast and said it was good. So a bit of a mix.

The location was close to a great running trail and the river. The rooms were clean and tidy. Great ideas like pump soap dispensers for shampoo and conditioner instead of small plastic bottles was a great idea.

Nice and clean rooms, beds are very comfortable. The hotel staff is really friendly and very helpful. The location is confenient as well, a little bit outside of the center, thus more quiet, but everything in walking distance. We actually had a nice view at the Yukon and the Klondike. Parking is available and a grocery store is near by at the Riverside Park. Would stay there definitively again!

Old hotel, somewhat charming. Rooms appear to have had an aesthetic update. Rooms were small, but fine for one person on an overnight stop. My room was above the bar/deck tent. It was loud until the bar closed. I still had a comfortable night of rest.

Okay, so it isn't the swankiest place in the world, but the service, the friendliness, the clean and well-appointed rooms totally make up for that! Tyler has been so helpful to me in the last three days I have stayed! I can't wait to return again.

Had a very restfull stay at the Coast Hotel in Whithorse. My room was spacious quiet.
The Staff was very friendly and attentive. The meals in the restaurant where delicious.
I would recommend the Coast Hotel whole heartedly.

I've stayed in far worse hotels at three times the price. Starbucks coffee, jetted tub, free walkin freezer for my dead moose, free portage to airport… good restaurant… what clown gives this place one star? An idiot who hates himself and his or her life. Get over yourself.

Had a problem with room, staff upgrade us to super room! No extra cost.

Our original room was very noisy and hot (no AC) and the front desk clerk was very helpful in finding us a better room. We always stay at High Country Inn when we come to Whitehorse, which is every 2-3 months.

I attended a conference at this hotel. Good location, professional service and good food.

Clean, cool, quiet. No room for my truck and trailer in the parking lot but it was fine on the street.

I felt misled regarding this hotel. The advertising made me think this was one of the higher end hotels in Whitehorse. It is not. I was surprised to learn, after I booked in that I had no air conditioning. When I complained they said I could open the window. The room was hot and stuffy. I kept the window shut to keep the mosquitoes out. I was given an executive suite at $151.00 per night. At this rate, I think air conditioning is something I don't need to check to make sure it exists or not. Neither was it a suite. This was my first of many business trips to Whitehorse. No more businss for High Country Inn however.

All I needed was the front desk to tell me when their scheduled shuttle bus was leaving to the conference I was attending. Instead of an answer, I was hung up on twice and then had someone treat the call like it was a prank (including hearing the person laughing on the end to his friends). Everything else was nice but this one experience was so bad that I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.
