Amazing place… friendly incredible views clean!

Complainy staff… not very friendly or helpful. Hotel is very noisy… neighbours partying loud in the middle of the night. Only good thing is the view from top floor.

This is such a great hotel. It’s such a perfect location right on the harbour, friendly staff and the beds were so comfortable! We originally booked a king suite, however when we arrived we were upgraded to the penthouse, which was amazing and really appreciated! The steam shower was the best. We will definitely booking with this hotel when we are back in Victoria.

Such nice rooms. We had an amazing time. While they may lack in the amenity area they more than make up for their quality of rooms, views (did I say GORGEOUS views) and location. We cannot wait to come back.

The location is great and close to seaplane terminal and places to eat. The views across the harbour and waterfront from the rooms are outstanding. The suites are large and fully equipped. We always have a brilliant time here.

Convenient Location, complementary breakfast and parking, beautiful view. Was upgraded to a penthouse suite for my wife's and my anniversary and the view was full harbour. It was amazing. ❤️

Beautiful 2 bedrooms pent house! Great location. Spacious, modern and spotless! Outside and lobby looks dated but my suite is totally a different experience and nicely stocked. Highly recommended! Picture is from room 802

I like the rooms and the view. I stay for Canada Day and BC Day every year. I always have a wonderful time. I will recommend it to my guests from out of town!

Loved my stay here. The staff was friendly. Service was good. Food was great. The room was clean and huge with big windows, nice deck and amazing views of the city and harbour. I liked that it was close to everything too. I’m definitely going back.

Very nice front desk staff. Cozy lobby and wheelchair accessible. Beautiful views… even on the balcony you had privacy. The kitchen was extremely user friendly with recycle tubs available. Bathrooms were very nice, and all the product you would want. I was visiting friends for a birthday party but would recommend and would definitely like to stay here next time I come to Victoria. My hosts — the couple who arranged evening complimented how accommodating the reservation coordinator staff was. Plenty of comfortable seating for the group, and cozy areas connected to main lr area. They even had a fireplace and Christmas tree! Well done.

It was old but comfortable. We wanted to have breakfast in our room. It was our anniversary… they wouldn't let us. We had a suite with a kitchen… table and chairs. Our check out time was suppose to be at one, at twelve the cleaning service knocked on the door to clean… don't they usually correspond with the front desk? No air conditioning… you have to keep doors open to the Harbor and strong diesel odor came in… awful. TV in the bedroom was bad. Dirty bathroom tub… black mold or rot was very visible. Plus… the bar… which we didn't know was under us and when we went to bed they were playing loud music. Sorry… we won't stay there again.

Location was excellent, the hotel was right on the waterfront. The complementary breakfast was great — they had bagels, bread, English muffins, waffles and bran muffins available and a toaster as well as cereal and two warming trays that varies between omelettes, scrambled eggs, sausage and hashbrowns (in the time we were there). The service was great and the view (cafe is situated facing the water) was lovely. The room itself was pretty standard, the only slight issues we had were that the tub didn't drain as quickly as we would have liked and the body wash was empty (it wasn't refilled even after we informed the front staff about it). Not a big deal — I'd stay here again.

Wonderful place to stay right in the heart of Victoria Inner Harbour! Every corner around has a pub, café or restaurant. Great shopping & went on a whale watching adventure nearby.
Enjoyed the very cozy room, free Wi-Fi and continental breakfast included with stay.

The staff is fantastic and certain individuals in particular went above and beyond to make or stay even better. Friendly smiles and hellos from most everyone, and the rooms were clean and had great views. The best part is the location, as its proximity puts it within walking distance of every single attraction in downtown Victoria. The only drawback I experienced was the small size of the breakfast dining room. One morning we had to wait for about thirty minutes or so to get a table. Kind of sucks to have that with a hotel breakfast. As long as you’re here before 8:30 am there shouldn’t be a wait.

Friendly staff. Great full continental breakfast. The suites are nicely sized and great views from the balcony of the harbour. Parking can be a bit of a hassle, but otherwise a definite recommend, especially with larger groups.

Excellent location, very large and comfortable suites with nice views. The kitchen was fully equipped but a little aged. Convenient underground parking. The complimentary breakfast was a bit scarce, no cheese or vegetables, but what they did have was tasty. Overall, happy and would stay again if I ever return to Victoria.

Wow. A luxury 2 bedroom suite, with the most amazing waterfront views… fantastic stay for a family with 3 small kids, the chance to have the kids in their own room… away from ours, lovely!

Clean, comfortable, and quiet. Interesting view. Deliciously comfy beds and pillows. Large suite. Satisfying free breakfast. Super nice staff. Free parking! Short walk to all my favourite restaurants and shops. My dinosaur of a husband was able to smoke out on the huge deck. Will come back for sure.

This hotel was quite nice. There is free breakfast that is quite adequate. The views were quite nice if stay there again.

Great location in downrown Victoria, harbor view rooms are available as are rooms with balconies. Parking is available but somewhat limited for hotel guests. Service is event as the rooms are well appointed if a touch dated.

Great views from this hotel. The rooms are huge (designed to be apartments or condos). The staff was very helpful and cheerful. Parking was very tight. The only thing I was not too happy about is that we were two families and reserved a two-bedroom suite. They only gave us a single parking spot and wouldn't let us keep the other car even that we offered to pay. I understand their parking space is limited. Still, it was very inconvenient. There is a near-by parkade that one could use.

It’s a nice hotel. It’s clean but oldish, but nice. Worth the price. No room service or anything like that. Almost like a best western.

Excellent stay. Well located on and near inner harbour. Good clean rooms friendly staff. Breakfast included which has daily change ng hot items of an egg and hash browns or meat and fresh selection of breads bagels and such and cereals. Favorable pricing compared to other hotels in the area. We will definitely make this our go to spot.

We were upgraded to a room with a better view. It was amazing! Very spacious and relaxing. There are not enough options for the breakfast menu in my opinion but still 5 stars.

We really had a great time there. The hotel is so beautiful: our room was an apartment with balcony with the view on the harbor. Anyway I am sure that each room is beautiful since the structure is great. The hotel is centrally located in Victoria, by walk you can reach the main attractions, restaurants and shops. Breakfast is various and delicious. Staff is very friendly and available to all your request. There is an internal private parking that makes your stay very comfortable. I really recommend this hotel and if we will be back on Victoria we will definitively stay here again.

Wow! The most incredible views I have ever seen from a hotel here in Canada! Literally a 180 panoramic view of the bay from the massive balcony! Such a peaceful place to stay and recharge from a long day of travel. This is precisely the place you want to be. I guarantee that I will come back here. The parking and breakfast was also included which was much appreciated. The rooms were beautifully laid out with each bedroom on opposite sides if the suite from each other to augment the privacy. Opening the patio doors to hear the relaxing lapping of the water throughout the night was a dream that almost made me feel like I was in some other country.

Stayed here multiple times and always been very pleased. Fabulous location, very clean and well run establishment.

The hotel staff were really wonderful! Always happy to help us and gladly booked us a few taxis during our stay. The location is also great — overlooks the harbor and near Chinatown and Market Square, plus only about a 5-10min walk to the center of town.

Always an amazing stay! Large spacious rooms with beautiful view of Victoria's inner harbour. Excellent friendly staff and rooms are spotless! Nice having breakfast included as well. Easy walking to everything downtown. Perfect place for extended stays too!

One of my best hotel experiences. The staff were able to meet all of our needs. The room had the most lovely ocean view. The beds were comfortable and I had a great sleep. We'd stay here again.

What`s not to love about the Victoria Regent? The view is absolutely spectacular, the bedrooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, the balcony is enormous, the showers are fabulous, the kitchens are beautiful and well-stocked, the amenities are great, the service is excellent and the location is perfect — so close to everything we wanted to see. It is our new favorite place to stay. I am hoping to save enough so we can stay at the VR for Christmas, as we have family in Victoria and it would be magical to be there with them then. We splurged a little to stay there but it was worth every penny. I hesitated to write this review because we would love to keep this precious gem of a hotel to ourselves, to be honest.

My favorite local hotel. Staff are amazing and all work exceptionally hard to make your stay special. Rooms are huge and luxurious. You won't find another hotel like this one. Location is exceptional. Only thing is they don't have hotel amenities like a pool, but the rooms more than make up for it. This hotel is a hidden gem.

Perfect location within walking distance of Victoria's major attractions. In front of the hotel was to the great sea, scenery is absolutely beautiful. Rooms are spacious, all kinds of facilities are complete. Staff were very friendly and easy-going. Breakfast can also choose gluten-free foods. Only thing lacking is the wash 3, 4 plates will also need someone to take care of the washing machine. If you can upgrade to professional single origin coffee would be nice, perhaps guests are willing to wash their own Cup.

We got upgraded from a King Room to a 1 bedroom suite and next time I will be booking that from the get go. The view of the parliament building and inner harbor is one of the best downtown! Super friendly staff and the room was nice and clean. Will be going back for sure!

I would recommend this hotel for short or long term stays, business or pleasure. The location is excellent, the price is very reasonable and the rooms are great size with a great view. Breakfast is included which is ok, some hot food would be nice but it has everything you need to get your day started. On site parking is very handy and free!

Stayed here while passing through town a few times. I like it enough to stay here each time I pass through. Staff is friendly. Rooms are comfortable and the location is perfect!

One of the best hotels we have stayed at in a long time. Friendly staff. After a day out in the town, we'd come back to our room to find our beds turned down for us and fresh bottles of water sitting there waiting for us. Well done!
