Wonderful place, very exotic and warm. Perfect from the accommodation to the breakfast through the evening meal… I ate the best lasagna vegetarian of the world.

However we found only two people welcoming and smiling on the premises. The person who welcomed us and the guitarist! The manager doesn't even respond to a simple hello from his clients, I really found it very average! As for the bar.

A magnificent view of the Saguenay Fjord. A quiet and peaceful place. Simple and authentic rooms, an excellent table d'hôte in the evening. We would have stayed longer.

Absolutely stunning view. We didnt stay there but we just went to the restaurant. Just drank coffees and sat in the sunset.

Over priced dinner and costs are hidden until checkout. Ask for prices it's $50 per plate at dinner ;) if you have a big group it will add up fast. Bring your own stuff or eat out…

Spectacular structure immersed in the boreal forest and faces directly on the fjord, practically a spectacle where the wood is the master, the rooms are detached from the structure and are comfortable sin for the free Wi-Fi but only in the structure Main.

Best vacation ever. An idyllic setting, a very welcoming and pleasant staff, comfortable chalets, exceptional activities. Magic brief.

The room was very clean and the food was great. Not enough hot water for a shower and you have to hit 15 km of gravel road.

The room we had was very basic and there was a horrible smell. The breakfast is basic. In the evening you can only choose one menu and the food was not allways of good quality. The personnel was not friendly.

We had a room on the Fjord side and it was beautiful! Amazing views from the room and also from the restaurant/bar area over the Saguenay river.

First formality: Provide the credit card. We quickly understand why, absolutely everything is paid in this outfitter! And even though no summer activity is available at the end of May, they will not make any gifts. The nearest city is more than 40 minutes drive away and they know it: You will eventually release the €20 (tax-free of course) to access the pool whose size close to that of a bathtub is struggling to accept more than 3 people.
Special Mention at the restaurant, which allows for gastro prices ($50 flat entry) without having the flavor. The server remembers your room, not the command. But it will take 15% of tips automatically.

For our first stay in Canada, we were filled. Copious and well-prepared meals, a very varied breakfast, smiling servers, available and professional (this is not always the case in France, so we appreciate). A total disconnection due to the lack of TV and Wi-Fi in the rooms and a fairy view of the fjord. Thanks to Manu, Alexandra and all the instructors who by their kindness, their availability and their good humour made our stay from 17 to 25 March 2018 an unforgettable memory.

Exceptional winter experience in Quebec, Snow bike, sled ride with dogs, amazing scenery. Exceptional Holiday Center. I felt like eating in a 4 star every day.

We got lucky going on a foggy wet weekend. Doing the green thick trails in itneneded up being a great experience. It made forna great setting in our log cabin and Northern Québec environment. Amazing all wood room. The bar was one of the coolest of all times. Cocktails are quebec inspired. Breakfast buffet to this day I still dream about. Very romantic eating area setting and formal for dinner service. Québec inspired dinner menu. Local products absolutly amazing. Great views as well. The place exceeded my expectations and we all know thats always hard to come by for anyone.

Very nice stay we were 6 girls, not 6 madams. For two nights. The chalets very well, rustic, comfortable mattresses, clean rooms. The negative side of the mat in the deluxe room, we paid accidentally to the champagne and wine hard-to-clean, surely we are not the only ones? It should not take rugs that we always put septic. For meals, breakfast breakfast buffet very simple but good. The dinner very good, we had venison terrine, and cranberry and saumom, small carrots parisian and star fruit in a main meal, it was excellent. A server took the time to send us the recipe Carrot paris. For the massage, an error is produced one of our rendez-vous was given to another person, this inconvenience has been replaced by a free bottle of wine at dinner, nice attention. For the sleigh chìen what a beautiful experience, this young man is very pleasant to be with, not pass through four way to say things, a little comical. Great place in the middle of nature. Very comfortable and friendly chalets, friendly main Pavilion. You can relax, have a drink, make a pool table or a table football, or even swim.

Location and warm people. Snow is present in winter. Things to do for snowmobiling enthusiasts and other winter activities.

Great setting, friendly staff and very nice, but the factory side remains too present during the stay, especially at the meal level, of fairly average quality for the price. (Watch out for the vegetarian alternative, which can be a bit ' light ')
And the two mornings we were woken up around 10am by the housekeeping or repair staff. Not very pleasant when you are on holiday and you want to be quiet.

I was sold a little dream by believing in a small romantic chalet in an idyllic setting: instead of a tourist factory, small chalets very poorly finished, there is a difference between rustic and tinkered, between a chalet and a vulgar shed has not improved. It's pretty average community food. Anyway, if you want the original camping go ahead, if you are looking for a dream go your way! One star for the view anyway.

Not 3 stars, rooms are tiny, tiny, tiny and because of all the wood and damp my room smelled like wet dog. The restaurant dinner was not great either. Rib sauce tasted like Kraft BBQ sauce and husbands meal was lukewarm, certainly not worth the $$$.

Overall the experience of staying here was not worth the price paid. The pros are the magnificent views and the staff were friendly. There is also a lovely hike on a well marked trail. The cons definitely outweigh the pros. The beds were extremely hard, sagging, and small. The room did not match what was advertised on their website. The sound proofing of the rooms were terrible. It felt like they cared more about making money than providing basic comfort to their guests. There is no Wi-Fi in the rooms unless you pay $10 a day PER DEVICE. There is no bar fridge, kettle, or free coffee (other than the two pods of coffee they leave for your first morning). They have a lovely fire pit beside the restaurant, however, they do not light a nightly fire and this area needs to be reserved (my guess is likely for a fee). The breakfast was extremely over priced. It was $16 per person and what you get is basically a continental breakfast (I. E bread, yogurt, fruit, cereal, salty eggs, and sausage). We got the same breakfast provided by a hotel elsewhere in Quebec for free. If you do end up staying here, there is a lovely little diner a few km down the road toward saguenay with great food called LM la Boîte a Lunch that is run by the owner who makes all the food and serves on her own. You can get a great breakfast for 2 people for 20 bucks. Overall, come for the views but look elsewhere for a comfortable stay. We definitely will not be returning.

Come here for the views, maybe a drink at the bar or lunch. Not to stay, in my humble opinion. The rooms are tiny and the images they show you when booking the room is completely disconnected from reality. Our room had the tiniest window facing the Fjord. It was not soundproof (the family in the room next door snored and that kept us up! ) And the staff weren't very good at cleaning the rooms. The dinner and breakfast is over-priced for what you get, and the hotel nickels and dimes you — $10/day for internet in the room, $2/k-cup if you want your morning coffee etc. It's all a bit frustrating. Oh and if you drive a nice car, especially one that's rear wheel drive just know that once you get off the highway you drive 7km in dirt road with a lot of stones etc.

Incredible view. Good food. It's a shame that the bed are uncomfortable because it is one of the best location. The room smells a bit funny but it is probably because of the wood the room is made of. The room is of a decent size and the people who works there are very kind.

We went in the afternoon to have a drink and maybe eat after a cold run in snowmobile. We felt like we were disturbing the staff and we finally headed back to the camp instead of having a drink.

Beautiful place, service correct but friendly staff, beautiful stamp, food a little expensive for what it is but very good in general. Our room was poorly soundproofed, there was an interconnecting door with the rest of the cottage, and intimacy average. Make sure you take a cottage for you alone. Level of comfort, our mattresses (one double bed) was very hard.

Bed 120cm! The time or all the hotels go to 160 or 180, there is a bed smaller than normal and more creaks and is not comfortable. I asked to have a room with a larger bed but the reception told me that all the beds were identical. The room is rustic beautiful, but with the minimum… no fridge, no kettle, no TV, and Wi-Fi charges in the cabins (in addition to our Wi-Fi did not work). The quality of the supper (dinner) is very good. On the other hand the room is big canteen a little bit old-fashioned, covered the bottom of the range, and cup on the table during the entire meal! The bar is good and good beer. The area is very nice and good walks. I want well that the hotel plays on the side of ecology/nature, but it gives more the impression that they are saving money on the comfort of the client and seek profit. Besides, it was worth maybe 4 stars 10 years ago but there not! J invites the owners to sleep in a 4 star hotel in Quebec…
I do not recommend, B&B ten times better in the region.

Too expensive, much too expensive for a view is certainly beautiful, and the accommodations of good quality but far from the level of benefits which one could expect at the price asked. The welcome on arrival is malaimable, cottages bonded to each other, the dining room exudes a spirit canteen and even if the content of the base is acceptable, the service is not at the level. Here the tourist is a wallet on legs.

Beautiful place with outstanding views. Typical rooms and rustic in chalets. A single flat, a bad smell in two of our three rooms. Friendly staff and restaurant very good. Has recommend.

We spent 2 days in July, 2 adults and 2 teenagers, stay too short for our taste, so the site is beautiful. The quality of the welcome, the (very nice) House, the restaurant, we loved everything!
We would come back but this time in midwinter, to discover its beautiful landscape under the snow and enjoy the season activities.

For my first pass the foods the attention of staff all was perfect thanks I pus of the snowmobile and the sled has sets of Trail dogs. Yet the very well. Now see this summer thank you to all the staff just one remarks meter wakes up one morning in room for not going right in the morning.

During our stay, all was perfect! Very good food is super friendly and welcoming staff.
Our room was clean, well decorated, bright with a great view over the Fjord.
We could really rest in a green and quiet setting.
I highly recommend it and would stay again.

Great framework but basic comfort in the rooms.

I reside in the region of Saguenay for several years already and I have discovered that all recently the Pourvoirie du Cap to the ballast. In fact I stayed 2 stays in the last year.
This winter, in the holiday season, we rented a cabin and had to spend 1 night. We fummes caught in an ice storm that has extended our stay by an extra night. The décor, under 3 centimeters of ice was magical! For what is to spend 2 days in the lodge, at the fireside, with your family, it was a great relaxing time! The service and the warm had matched only by the delicious meals we were served.
After this experience, we have done it again! This summer, we, even once, rented a cottage for a family event, we stayed one night. And no ice in summer ;)
Once again, people from the Cape to the nimble we we offered a family moment of great peace, enhanced by the meal. Pork loin and terrine of Buffalo! Wow! Every time, I'm there enjoyed myself!
Technical details:
CAP to the ballast is made for those who want to rest. No phone, no TV, no radio. There are many Internet, but only in the restaurant.
Not to either kitchenette for longer stays, it is not practical.
Otherwise, the comfort is perfect! Small warm rooms, in the forest, not a noise at night.
