The rooms are quite tight but the bed and pillows are comfortable. It is clean and has ac! The sink in our room had some difficulty draining and the hot/cold water shower situation was a little difficult. It's a little dated but the location is very central and overall good value. There are not enough parking spots but it is very close to the city hall parking, so it is fine.

So amazing hotel to stay a week o more it is very comfortable.

This hotel experience was SUPERB, EXCELLENT and run by the friendliest and most polite people! The prices are very reasonable, all rooms are clean; breakfast everyday is fresh, warm, delicious and with a great variety. All rooms have amazing views of the city. This hotel is located in a very quiet neighbourhood and situated perfectly in the heart of old Quebec City. I will definitely return to this hotel. My overall rating is 6 stars out of 5!

Wonderful hotel! Perfect location! Only few min. Walk to popular spots. Clean room, really nice hotel people/owner, good breakfast. We stay at the room facing street. It got perfect view and not nosy at night. This street is not popular place, only few people wiil pass. The only problem is the hotel is located on the high hill, you need to climb up with your stuff and there is no elevator. Kind of tired, but really a nice to stay. The price is fairly affordable! I will definitely come again.

The location is decent. Not too far from the more lively parts of town. The hotel itself is somewhat dated, but it's not bad. Staying in a room with shared bathroom and it's actually pretty nice. You get enough privacy whether in the shower or toilet. If you're looking for a no frills kind of place, then this is your place.

The owner makes the hotel. They keep the place clean and well maintained. Very very nice view of the north side of the city. Down side is there is no elevator.

The staff was amazing. We were able to reach them right away when we had trouble getting in late at night. Our room for four people was clean, felt like home, and was overlooking the beautiful Old Port. Would go back here if we have the chance.

Hotel is old and has most of the negatives of am old hotel, however it's in a great location and the staff were all very friendly and helpful!

We, a family of 4, stayed here for 2 nights. Breakfast is included, fresh fruit, muffins, croissants and boiled eggs. Owners were kind and service was great. Rooms were clean. Location was great for us. Close to train/bus station, and walking distance to main attractions.

I stayed at this hotel for three weeks because I was enrolled in Mississippi State University’s Study Abroad program in Quebec City. I loved it. At night we would take the stairs to the top of the building which overlooks the St. Lawrence river. The Bunge silos would light up a different color every night. During the day we would watch sailboats having fun in the river. We would also watch the cargo ships and cruise ships dock and unload freight and passengers. I think almost every room in the hotel is laid out differently. My friend and I had a room that had two beds and a bathroom. It did not have a microwave or refrigerator or anything of the sort. That was fine because we ate at restaurants most of the time, and the breakfast that the hotel owners made was pretty good. We always had freshly baked croissants and muffins with fresh fruit. I always put peanut butter and jelly on my croissant. The staff of the hotel were always really nice to us, and we all fell in love with Madame Sitheary and her dog. I cannot wait to go back someday.

Fantastic hotel… well closer to a hostel. But very affordable so close to the old city.

Loved it, rates are very reasonable, the guy who owns the place is most adorable and everything was clean, wonderful view from the room. PLUS our car had like 30cm snow on it in the morning, and after a small walk in Quebec City, the owner had cleaned it for us! never seen such a service in a hotel before. Highly recommend.

Betsy and I could not have been happier with our lucky Tourist Information (at Trois Pistolle') find for two nights at an incredible rate with shared bath, which was made even more incredible when we arrived by lovely and friendly hosts Terri and Siv with ensuite bath! Possibly one of best locations for visiting Old Quebec, Petit Champlain, Place Royal and the Funiculaire Place. The surprise was its croissant au petit dejuener — gratuite'. After trois bon journe' around Gaspesie, we took a chance sight unseen and were not disappointed in any way. Hotel Manoir des Remparts will be our Ville Quebec home in the future — maybe Winter Carnival, eh.

Amazing hotel, a gem in old quebec! GREAT service, we will return to each year that's for sure.

The breakfast is a buffet with everything you'd expect of a breakfast.
A Wifi is available and if you have a computer there is an in the entered available to customers!
In short nothing wrong! especially since the location is just perfect.

Fantastic location: situated on the edge of Old Quebec, just five to ten minutes walking distance from EVERYTHING! The staff are quiet but friendly. Our room was small and simple, but everything was clean and tidy. This place is great for what it is: awesome location, a decent bed to sleep on and affordable.
