We are on our third night visiting this hotel and it is definitely in the top 5 hotel we have ever stayed at. We are visiting with two kids, and the pool and activities are fantastic. The staff has been friendly and attentive to all our requests. We will definitely be returning next summer.

We stayed here in Feb 2022 with our kids. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and pool, spa services, room service and the fantastic restaurant. Every staff member we encountered offered warm, professional service. They were extremely helpful in coordinating spa appointments and lift passes ahead of our arrival, making our stay that much more relaxing. The location is perfect, very quiet but steps away from the Village amenities. We’ll be back.

Comfortable and luxurious room, small attentions, charming staff, excellent service in massage therapy and memorable meal (the monkfish on the evening menu will remain engraved in my gourmet memories)!

Spending time with my sweetheart and choosing this hotel made our romantic weekend the best ever. Every little detail was thought of in the hotel. From the reception desk people being so friendly, the valet person, the wood concierge, the people at the restaurant, the breath taken view, the beautiful and gorgeous room, every was perfect! Magnificent location. The staff is attentive to all your needs. The food is absolutely incredible. I love the fact that the rooms still have wood fireplaces. The hotel overlooks the water… and you always run into a few deer here and there on the grounds…

Simply stated the best hotel I have ever stayed in… anywhere. The service was effortless, friendly and flawless. The Rooms are huge and extremely comfortable, with radiant heat floors in the bath room (no cold feet! ) to an actual wood burning stove in the rooms… which they will gladly send some one up to start the fire. The pool is spectacular overlooking the lake and the restaurant for dinner was one of the best meals I have ever eaten. It is definitely a few bucks more than the other high end properties in the are but it is completely worth it. I was sad to check out this morning!

We can’t wait to be back at Hotel Quintessence. The staff was utmost professional and friendly, our suite was glorious with a nice view on lac Tremblant and the infinity pool. The restaurant served us an exquisite dinner. They even prepared something for me that was not on the menu! For those who are into it, the wine list at the restaurant is spectacular with great selection from Burgundy. This was our best experience to date with a hotel in the Laurentians.

My wife and I celebrated our 25 year wedding anniversary in a suite here. Honestly one of the best overall experiences of my life. I also want to say, even though they had a little hiccup with the food we ordered they were all over themselves to correct it and make us feel like they were sorry. In the end it was their actions to correct that were important, not the actual hiccup. Thank you for a great couple of days at your excellent Hotel.

An exceptionally beautiful hide away with perfect service and a perfect setting at the lake. Especially la clagett's (room 400) is extremly romantic.

Free valet parking. Small library available in common room of 3rd floor. Restaurant looks very chic, and therefore not suitable for children, but room service is available. Swimming pool is next to the spa, so somewhat unsuitable for young children as their voice may sound louder than it really is to someone having their spa treatment. Would give extra star for a good breakfast option. Most restaurants in the area open at 10am.

The top plus ultra… Welcoming, very luxurious, exceptional service attentive. The rooms are no more prestigious (Buche fires, therapeutic bath, merveille + + +). Very good food especially in high season very large lot to walk relax, fires at the Lake. Swimming pool and all accommodations are available for relaxation.

The holidays will not be the same after staying at this hotel. It's amazing exclusive. The cuisine is simply exquisite. It is worth to try the couples massages. A sunset. Walk around the lake. Sunbathe or enjoy in winter the snow-capped landscapes of dream.

Plus bel hôtel où j'ai eu la chance de séjourner. Le service est impeccable (ils ont été me chercher à manger dans un resto pas loin, très tard) Notre chambre était magnifique, le spa & la piscine aussi! Massage merveilleux! Merci Quintessence!

Beautiful view! Very rich feel to it, like the who place smells like rich mahogny.

This Hotel is a slice of Heaven! It was spectacular from the moment we arrived until our departure. We arrived to the most glorious room with a Miles Davis CD playing and logs on the fire that were a cinch to start. The gorgeous background behind the hotel was a stunning Winter Wonderland of the most breathtaking pine trees I've ever seen. The nearby village was fabulous and within walking distance to all of the lovely boutiques and dining. We did have a delicious breakfast that I would highly recommend. We opted for the buffet since it was right around the price of most of the breakfast omelets and it offered everything you could possibly imagine for breakfast; an omelet and crepe station, oatmeal, fresh fruit, eggs, cereal, bacon, sausage etc. I was celebrating my 50th Birthday and the Hotel offered me a complimentary cheese tray and a delicious glass of champagne. My only feedback to the hotel is that the entree that we had for dinner wasn't all that great. I am a foodie and it was a cod dish that was very average. I certainly wouldn't consider it fine dining. I was more than happy with the rest of the meal; Caesar salad and bread that it truly didnt bother me. My husband felt the same way about the entree, he ordered the same one but isn't picky at all and did eat it. The restaurant was kind enough to take my entree off of the bill and offered me other options but I was full. By no means would this meal prevent me from returning to Quintessence.

Enjoyed New Year's eve dinner and celebration festivities at the hotel, which is also home to a world renowned Wine Bar. The dinner was a five course presentation of various culinary treats. The service and hospitality was 5 star, as were the hotel's decor and overall experience. The view over the lake is to die for with multilevel terasses and balconies. Book early if you plan on attending next year's New Year's eve. It's a quick sellout.

Very nice location — feels very private and exclusive with a spectacular lake view, but is only a minute away from the village by foot, and the addition of real fireplaces in the rooms makes it very cozy. Service was excellent for the most part, and the restaurant and spa made for a wonderful stay for the whole family.

What a nice hotel I’ve ever been, excellent service, warming ambiance, friendly people, cleanness and quietness, spacious room with fireplace, patio door to the balcony, nice view to watch the colourful maple leaves, swimming pool, heated whirlpool, etc. Actually no need to do any other activities in the village, just enjoy all the facilities of the hotel, all the details they noted with care, even the coffee cups were put in a special drawer to keep it warm, you feel like a VIP but they treat you like a longtime friend, I really enjoyed it! As for the restaurant, I never know that the sea food could be cooked so tender, juicy, and tasteful except Chinese cuisine, ha ha, a nice wine bar with a huge wine cellar, … what more can you expect!

By far this is the best hotel/restaurant in any direction up north of Montreal. Decor is outstanding, all wood and leather, dark brown colors, which creates relaxed, warm and comfortable ambience to enjoy oneself fully. Very clean rooms, very spacious. I am a platinum member of Fairmont hotels, and I never had such a great room vs value vs service experience as at Quintessence. In addition the Restaurant is always a go for tastiest wild game and vast wine selection. A+ And you actually forget that you are at Tremblant, it's a self sufficient vacation spot.

What a delightful stay! From being greeted by name when I drove up, to the quick check-in, assistance getting my stuff to my room, everyone was very friendly. They were very helpful answering any questions I had. I got to enjoy the hot tub (for real) and infinity pool (visually) on the Spa/Terrasse level. Although in October it would be great if the pool was heated above 68 degrees. An absolutely beautiful location right by the lake and a 2 minute walk to the resort shopping/restaurant area. The building is also stunning. The Q Suite was fabulous — with everything you could need. Having an in room fireplace and jacuzzi in addition to the living area, large shower, double sinks and separate room for the toilet. I am not a super lover of noise though, even though it was very low Miles Davis playing in the room when I arrived — I would suggest when showing the room to explain where the stereo is… it took me a bit too long to figure it out… I also put the ticking clock in the cupboard under the blanket at night so I wouldn't hear it tick… It was great to be able to hook in to the stereo through bluetooth. I also loved the robes and red polar fleece blanket. Nice touches! The balcony overlooking the lake and infinity pool was awesome. Breakfast buffet was delicious. This was truly the fanciest place I have ever stayed (and probably ever will stay)! I hope one day to win the lottery or find a rich sugar daddy who can bring me back! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Here we go: Hôtel Quintessence is a TERRIBLE Hotel. Don't get me wrong; it's beautiful, if a bit dated and not aging well. And if you come to Tremblant to ski & don't care about ski-in/ski-out, the setting is the best you could ask for (and just outside the village, which makes it convenient/quiet). But at $500 per night, OFF-PEAK, the fact is that there NEEDS to be service, and (one example; I have many) when I asked for help with local activities was handed a binder full of all-French photocopies of pages from unaffiliated businesses. And I don't speak French, and the staff knew it. I've stayed at fine hotels on several continents. You ask for help? You get help. Tt Quintessence, "help" is a staff member asking "is perfect for you, yes? ". Dinner at the restaurant was solid, albeit the third-best meal we ate in three nights. But Hôtel Quintessence is, simply, a failure at the thing that REALLY matters at the high end they wish to be thought of. More? The leak in our bathroom and the handyman who said "oui; it leaks" but left it to me to call the desk. The woman at the Spa who grunted at my wife when she asked for directions to the pool (& was there to book services). Charging me for a taxi I had paid for directly. Never was ANYTHING in the way of responsibility for problems taken, nor even the simplest of gestures made. Not a drink. NOt a free breakfast. Nothing. I travel more than a bit and when it's for leisure we stay at very nice, very expensive places.

I had a fantastic experience at Hotel Quintessence with the benefit of a Groupon deal in May 2012. It probably was not the usual season for guests as there was no snow and no skiing. That being said, we had a perfect experience that was probably only made better by the extra individual attention and lack of noise. Of course, normally five-star service and quality mean five-star prices. Eating at the hotel and the neighboring resort town in insanely expensive. Still, if you stock up with a little wine and snacks, you can hide out in one of the massive tub beside a roaring fire and staring out the window at a beautiful lake. What could be better.

Superb hotel with top notch staff and accomidations. View over the lake from our room's balcony was spectacular. The heated marble floors in the bathroom and oversized showers with multiple heads were a very nice addition. Highly Recommended for anyone looking to stay in the area.
