The tranquility and privacy of each cottage. Several activities offered. Close to several ski centers. The maintenance of the spas is very good. Chalet 19 is very well maintained and very well decorated after ski style.

This is the second time that have come here and it is spectacular the service is impeccable the cats are very clean and full of activities that can do. As the saying goes, try it is to adopt it.

Nice stay, I loved it! small rabbit cottage clean, with all the amenities, the only downside … the TV didn't work the first day, we called the front desk, but eventually we managed on our own.
Beautiful scenery, tennis court, pity the pool was closed! Quiet neighborhood, we loved the squirrels who visited us every day! ❤

Beautiful cottages and friendly and competent service. Great for family getaways in nature but still close enough to Montréal. Also beautiful for romantic getaways or weekends away with friends.

We stayed for a week in a Rabbit chalet — 5 adults and 1 child. The chalet was fantastic… lots of room for everyone, fully equipped kitchen, screened in hot tub, amazing property! The resort has done a great job of implementing covid procedures to keep all the guests safe while still allowing you to enjoy your vacation. Lots of fun activities available at the main lodge and down at the lake. My only feedback would be that the outdoor pool could be cleaned more frequently and I second an earlier review about allowing only 2 activities at a time per chalet. When you have a large group it means that people get left out. But really, those are minor complaints in what was an overall great vacation!

Appliances and laundry didn’t work very well, and resort only lets u take 2 water toys at a time, for a family of 10 that means 8 ppl left out, only disappointing thing, also have to rent fire pit 80$ 2 nights, they didn’t have any left the 3 nights we stayed, again kids were disappointed.

Pros Location — close to Montreal and beautiful cabins and lake with amenities — pool, tennis courts, paddle boats and canoes, karaoke machine and hot tub. Cons
Mice: We were 7 people and there were not one but 2 mice in the cabin. When we called reception to let them know, they said they had traps that we can pick up and set up ourselves and deal with the dead mice instead of sending someone to deal with it, since this is a "4 star" resort. Check out time: was at 11:00AM and since we had the full day we asked for late check-out and they refused. This I understand because the cabin was probably booked. HOWEVER, we said we will clear out the cabin and check out by 11AM and asked to use the lake for a few hours before we head back to the city. They said no because they had to "maintain the lake" which was complete BS. Service: The service was horrible for a 4 star resort and the staff couldn't be bothered. We were 7 people and some from out of town and we paid a lot of money for this weekend, so didn't expect such crappy service. Will not be going back there.

Love the surroundings, picturesque quiet, very family oriented yet very nice for couples all the same for that romantic weekend.

What a lovely place. We had the deer cabin (house) and it was clean and gorgeous. Staff could not be friendlier and came within minutes to fix little problem.

Spent 2 night. Although the the chalet is nice and owner very accommodating, there were too many strict rules for my liking. I understand the reasoning behind the rules, but it restricted me from being totally relaxed because I was always worried about break a rule. Otherwise the bed was comfortable and amenities appreciated. As a personal preference, I like a hot tub outside (it was in an unheated solarium) and a fireplace that heats the cabin and is not just for ambiance.

Our chalet was nice, but lake not even in walkable distance. Shared pool was also out of order.

The resort area is secure and house is secluded. We went for a corporate retreat and the setting was perfect.

Beautiful location Chalet was gorgeous, they were quick to replace our propane for the BBQ when it was empty. Great customer service. Hot tub was amazing and not many mosquitos. There is a pool table downstairs which is great for a rainy day. Overall very satisfied and would recommend this chalet for a family or group of friends.

Deer mid-May (off-season) ; the spa. The smell of chlorine much too strong with spiders and canvases inside the spa. The balcony was dirty, full of little rocks and sand. There was garbage around the field. We had asked for a sauna in the courtyard, the receptionist had said there was one, but no there was none! The refrigerator was too small to contain all the food and beverages, they should think about putting mini-fridges over. There were cobwebs on the large windows of the living room and on the great chandelier. The indoor pool at the front desk was a little scrambled.

We recently returned from our second stay at one of their chalets. To begin, the chalets are beautiful, clean and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The service at registration was also top knotch. After returning home this time, I realized that I had lost one of my earrings (gift from my mom-very important). Best guess-it came off when I removed my jacket in my cousin's chalet. I contacted Fiddlers via email. I received a phone call from Catherine at registration 2 days later. She had contacted housekeeping and, yay!, they found my earring. I paid the fedex charge and 2 days later I had it back. Great service, Fiddlers! And thanks again to Catherine at registration!

Great location but the quality of the chalets greatly varies… Some are really well maintained and others (at least the third one we rented there) not well at all. Great location.

Went with friends for the weekend. Lovely rooms and place in general. Would diffenitely go back.

Ultra rude receptionist, I would never go to this place. If I were you, I would ask my staff to have class when they do customer service.

Just back from a wonderful week at the resort! We stayed in the Deer chalet and were very pleased. Staff were wonderful and we had a marvelous time there. Boys were in the hot tub daily, even in these cold temperatures with no problems, except the getting out part :) Loved the Christmas tree and having a fully equipped kitchen helped as we did all our meals onsite. No complaints about Wi-Fi service either. Seems a few people complained about this. Due to the extreme cold we were limited to how much time could be spent outside, but snowshoes are available free, and there was an ice skating rink as well. Looking forward to a return trip in the warmer weather!

We rent 2x on this site. The first time was exceptional last winter with the Platinum agency G. I. This time if we booked directly with Fiddler Lake… The chalet was beautiful. But for a chalet that can accommodate 15 people, there were no blankets, extra sheets. We had to ask for one because a child peed in bed, and they did not even want us depanné… Also, a little mouse coabited at the chalet. Plus… for 15 people, put 2 rolls of toilet paper extra… it was average. We were supposed to have 1 ditout bed, and there were none. Next time we will make a new deal with platinum. The service was superior.

Quite a disappointment when something goes wrong — no one on site with any authority or decision-making skills.
We were a group of 6 girlfriends who rented the rabbit cabin from nov 3-5 … between us arranged for our 12 kids and hubbies, tetris packed our vehicles to go spend the weekend cottage and hot tub bound. Upon arrival at checkin the place looked spectacular… but when we checked the hot tub it was ice cold. I immediately calked front desk and explained who didn't quite believe me … long story short I was on the phone every half hour with her until 10 explaining that it wasn't working and the response was that at 10:00 there was nothing she could do and she would leave a note for the morning shift. By 9:15 with no sign of customer care I phoned and was on the phone until 1:00 requesting another cottage. To compensate she offered us a gift card of 100$ for lunch at st-sauveur but by that time we had eaten and had already too much prepared food and so we kindly refused. She also offered late checkout Sunday but we had to get back to our families and sitters (2hour drive). We called upon returning home as the manager was not on site and the staff was too new and were compensated $70. I was expecting more obviously.
This was quite a disappointment as we had specifically booked for the hot tub and spa ammenities. Clearly the cabin was not inspected prior to our checkin at 6:45pm.

Very nice site, I return there every year. Winter for snow and summer for the lake and all activities.

Beautiful chalet with a lot of facilities like swimming pool, bath tub… but they don't have a quality Wi-Fi.

But in general, it's very good.

Stayed in the 2 bedroom log cabin. Absolutely amazing. Beautiful and clean. Great to just bring your own food and relax. Great for a weekend getaway. Hot Tub is great! Satellite TV has all channels. Rentor was extremely accommodating (Thank you Heather). Had everything we needed.

Absolutely wonderful, the lake is beautiful, the cottages are fully equipped and more than spacious, and the activities at the reception are numerous and well maintained.

Pretty good, clean and good service.

Wish the resort had a beach but lots of activities for adults and kids. Staff was great and helpful. Any chalet issues were dealt with immediately with no hesitation.

40 cottage wood was pourit terrace has several place and has yield under our weight letting several dangerous holes for children and we even. One of the legs of my chair has pass through the terrace and I'm falling was backwards, the cascade my leave two big blue on each calf. The service has the clientele was much pourit than the terrace. It was due to call, can be present in person for what they send qq1, not so competent with the wrong tools… He has repaired 1 6 holes and we never have seen again. We can't make fires, even to the place dedicated to the fire near the front desk (st-jean) … Overall very disappointed… I do not recommend.

Especially avoid renting the cottage # 65. The roof is leaking in one of the bedrooms in this cottage. We have it report and someone came to see and told us that he would do a report. We have not heard from later. Also the blinds do not close. So no way to sleep in the morning. It's a cottage for 6-8 people and there are only 5 around the dinner table. The couch is extremely uncomfortable. The spa is very badly maintained. Also several lights were not working. In short, think carefully before you book at this place.

We went to spend a weekend in a cabin at Fiddler Lake Resort in may 2016. We chose this place because it was relatively close to Gatineau and there are Spa and the cottage was far from the other and therefore private. The chalet was spotless, very large very comfortable furniture. However extremely disappointed in the quality of the spa. The water was green and smelled bad, it was full of dirt and the spa had yellow circles all the way around the edge. We are complaining to us, but as we were there only 2 days it was impossible for them to correct the situation. They also refused to compensate us for the "inconvenience". Very disappointing!

Good facilities had a good time there.

We took a canoe, it overturned and sank, a manager who was on the dock we a shout to let it flow and that everything was going to be OK… out of the water, asked if we were going to be charged for the canoe and they said no and that they called a company to come out of water… 2 days later, while returning to montreal, told us they want we charged $ 750 for canoeing… they say that they have never found the canoe… yet, sunk a well seen or this last had a comfortable… Also, I don't understand, a canoe is not supposed to sink when it reverses… cetai the first time ke I saw it… I did everything I could to not let him go…
