Farm Stay

From a call just after booking to our initial greeting by our gregarious host we felt very welcome. The farmhouse is down a mostly quiet paved country road surrounded by nature. The farmhouse combines the stirdy old dining tables with modern appliances to ensure caracter and comfort. There's a large living room and sitting area with HD Satellite TV, good Wi-Fi internet modern large (shared) upstairs bathroom with glass enclosed shower and comfortable rooms. Note that there's no AC in the bedrooms so expect warmth in the peak summer.

Beautiful location, stunning views! Located near a ski hill and wonderful hosts! We would highly recommend!

I have stayed at the B&B three times this year and will continue to go back because it is one of the top B&Bs I have stayed at. Martin is a lovely host and combined with the character of the house, it feels like home. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. The bathroom has a large jacuzzi tub that I quite enjoy — even though the jets were not working when I was there. It is conviwnently located directly across the road from Mansfield Ski Club and situated along the river. For those who love to snowshoe, they also have snowshoes available at no extra charge so you can venture around the area.

They were the perfect hosts. We stayed for eight nights, and they made us feel welcome the whole time. With warmth and humour, we felt very well treated. They are located next to a ski resort, so it's a great spot year round.

I was recently working at the Honda plant in Alliston and while looking for a more cost effective place to stay than the typical big name hotels, came across Foxingham. I booked and was definitely not disappointed! The house is absolutely charming and situated in a very picturesque location. Martin was a very gracious and entertaining host, I could barely tear myself away from our morning chat to get myself to work on time! I'm looking forward to the chance to return to the area for pleasure, and bring my fiancee next time!

I was looking for a B&B that offered "hiker dropoff" for my Bruce Trail hikes in the area. The places that turned up first in the searches were full, so I kept looking. I am *so* glad that I ended up finding this. Martin and Shalani were so friendly and accommodating. The whirlpool tub was very welcome after my long hikes, as were the excellent breakfasts to start my day. Martin proved to be a great ambassador for this area. I had never heard of Mulmur township (just north of Hockley/Shelburne/Orangeville) and for my tastes, even more scenic than Hockley I hope to be back for some fall hiking or winter snowshoeing, and more of Martin's stories.

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights and were treated like royalty. Martin and Shalani are easily the most accommodating individuals we have ever met. Healthy food options, clean and respectable rooms, hiking trails and great eats galore. We will be coming back!
