For a 2.5 star establishment, certainly exceeds expectations. The free breakfast is actually quite decent (both hot and cold options), the room is relatively spacious, and pretty clean. Walls are thin and you can hear a lot of ambient noise from outside and/or hallways. However location is convenient since right off the highway.

The hotel was terrific. The room was spacious and fresh. The cleanliness of the room and bath was excellent. The whole hotel smelled fresh and the carpets seemed new. The breakfast was great. Lots of choices. Pet friendly staff. The employees aim to please. Front desk clerks were very knowledgeable and so helpful.

Stayed 3 nights. Clean, conveniently located, with friendly staff. Satisfying, simple breakfast. Choices. Comfortable bed. Good A/C. Lots of outlets in the room. Quiet despite staying down the hall from a team. Would be nice to have ice on first floor instead of going to second floor to get it but no big deal. Good "budget" hotel that had exactly what we needed. Everything worked. Would stay there again.

Service was great. Beds are very comfortable. Make your own breaky. Great place to stay.

Such a nice spot for a comfort inn. Windsor has so many sketchy motels/hotels in the area so I’m glad I found one that is safe, clean and quiet / centrally located. Theres a small gym, which is great and I liked that I could see my car from my room window. Microwave & mini fridge in the room too! Front desk and continental breakfast staff were super nice!

Convenient coming off of the bridge or tunnel from the USA. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a great breakfast with tons of options. The only downside was that the rooms are narrow. If somebody is sitting at the desk there is no room to get around them.

Travelled with a large group (200 students). Staff bent over backwards for us. So friendly and patient. Clean rooms.

Windsor is a beautiful place. I always have a great time when I come down here. Would absolutely recommend. I come here all the time and I love it.

The staff were very kind and prepared; the playpen we requested was already left in the room. Wifi worked well, the lobby offered water and fruit 24/7 and the hot breakfast had a good variety (eggs, waffles, oatmeal, cereal, sausage, etc) with many juices and pastries as well. Tables were cleared and food refreshed quickly and steadily. Easy outdoor access to the parking lot from the rooms via sliding door was very helpful in loading and unloading baby, stroller and luggage. We were very pleased with our stay!

Our booking was $139 Cad. We canceled (free of charge) not only were we still charged, we were overcharged! $181! We called the hotel apparently nobody knows where our money went.

Clean and comfortable however the water pressure in the shower was very low and my key stopped working after one day. Other then that the room was fine.

My experience was great. Clean rooms and great customer service. I would definitely stay here on my next business trip.

Good service and nice rooms. Anecdote: we tried to make a jumbo bed with our two seperate beds but the frame of one of them collapsed. Our fault, easy fix tho.

Infrastructure is commendable and staff is also co-operative. Im really interesting for doing job here.

The person on the front desk was very friendly. The rooms were clean and tidy. However at night there was sometimes who was occasionally slamming the doors and kept waking me up. The parking is free and the breakfast is pretty good. It is free and a hot breakfast. I would recommend it for 100$

Clean, comfortable, breakfast included. I'd say 5 stars (for this class of hotel) if they offered room service or a small kitchenette. Patio door on ground floor rooms is nice.

Fair accommodations for the price, convenient location near E. C. Rowe expressway. Could have better temperature control in the room.

Easy parking, clean rooms, close to the casino. Surprisingly good breakfast for a Comfort in. Waffles, Greek yogurt yumm. Apples and lemon water available always.

What you expect from a comfort inn. Staff are a mix of pleasant and surly. Bed is fine, but not great. Basic low definition cable for TV. Free breakfast is available, but it certainly leaves something to be desired. No significant complaints. Nothing wonderful to say either.

After one month staying in this hotel, I can say that here you can rest confortably well. You have a regular breakfast, good fitness equipments and you it is close to a lot of options of services and restaurants. I recommend.

Friendly staff and nice rooms for the price.

This is an excellent inexpensive hotel to stay at. It was recently renovated which makes for a more comfortable stay. During my last visit they accommodated a rather silly request of mine and it was hilarious. I have been staying here on business trips for the last few years and will continue to do so.

The motel was a very nice place to stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful and went all out to make the stay very enjoyable and comfortable I will tell my family and friends this is the motel to stay at while in Windsor.

Stayed at Comfort Inn Windsor for my son's soccer tournament. Staff was very accommodating with moving us to the first floor due to my mobility issues and no elevator. Shower was a bit finicky where it would not maintain the temperature setting and default was scalding hot water. Overall our stay was great.

The condition of the room we stayed at was excellent. The customer service was awesome too! My bf had forgotten his toothbrush and the guy at the front desk was able to provide me one! They were just so friendly! My only issue was with the breakfast in the morning. I wished they had hot sauce there with the other condiments. That would have made the whole thing a % perfect experience.

Been coming to this hotel for yearsssss! Always stay here after going over to Detroit for the Tigers games!, came to the hotel yesterday morning! Dropped off our bags! Went over watched the Tigers game! Then went over for some history as we entered the Joe Louis Arena for the last time! Was nice to see wings win it! Very happy to come back to this hotel and get an amazing nights sleeep! Beds are so comfortable! Rooms are always clean! Staff is the best! Oh… and did I forgot the breakfast was delicious! Will be returning for many many years!

Very nice room. Loved the layout of the furniture. The room had everything we needed. I would recommend it to others, just for its price. The room looked alot more expensive.

Excellent customer service! Reason it gets 3 stars is because the hotel is a bit run down. They appear to be renovating part of it so maybe a refresh is in progress. It's clean and quiet and is a reasonably priced place for the weary traveller to sleep and shower.

I only stayed there for a night with friends visiting Windsor. The rooms were in good condition and spacious. Good value over all.

I checked into the comfort inn on Sunday I had to change rooms because sheets were not clean sticky stains on the floor and other reason they moved me next door to room 144 but only because I requested that I needed my room changed they didn't seem to think it was that big of a deal. When I woke up in the morning to take a shower before checking out I realized the shower curtain was stained with pee and had a bad smell they took only about 45 mins to change the shower curtain I had barely enough time to get ready before check out then when checking out I encountered the worst attitude she didn't care to ask how my stay was or smile to make me feel my stay was welcome while waiting for deposit the lady had checked out some other guest and had the most welcoming smile and asked how there stay was so I confronted her on why she didn't treat me the same her reply was that she did and then gave me a smile. This was the most horrible experience on checking in and out of a hotel I well never be staying here again.

I have stayed many times at this Comfort Inn as well as many others over the years (Elite Platinum member). My previous stay here was during an automotive training program between Christmas and New Years 2015. I have always found the staff to be friendly, cordial and polite until checkout on Wednesday of this week. My office had previously reserved a king suite for my arrival as I often will entertain guests when traveling (I am on the road between 150-200 days a year). During my last stay I was in Suite 226. When I checked in on Sunday the room was apparently unavailable so I was placed in a standard room with king bed (210). After check in I contacted my assistant and asked her to confirm the reservation that she had placed for me weeks earlier (our office phone line is recorded). The next day (Monday) she called me and played the reservation conversation back to me and it was very clear that I was to be in the same suite as my last visit or a similar one. The front desk staff (who were very polite) indicated that for reasons unknown the suite had been let out to someone else. The only other larger room that they had (and it was definitely not a suite) was at the front of the hotel on the main floor (128). I realized that this would be a noisy room because of hallway traffic. Not wanting any other hassles I put up with the noise and the smaller room fully realizing that sometimes unfortunate things happen but we have to make the best of it. When I checked out at 06:25 hrs.

Both the room and service met and exceeded our expectations. The hotel was clean comfortable and we enjoyed the included breakfast. Hotel staff provided a welcoming reception and dealt with all questions and concerns promptly. Some of the hallway rugs could use replacing and a larger parking lot would make the parking of vehicles easier. It seemed a little tight with the number of trucks in the lot at the rear of the property.

Comfort Inn on Dougall is a great spot! It's very central to the city with quick access to many great places to eat. 5 minutes to a great mall and easy access to downtown. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Newly renovated rooms. Great bed and extremely clean. Hotel offered hot soup and snacks at night and always had fresh coffee and apples available 24 hours at the front reception. Absolutely would recommend and stay again!

Breakfast was unreal! They have a waffle maker with badder dispenser (blueberry or regular) and then a choice of chocolate, caramel, strawberry syrup or a combination there of. Philly cream cheese and fresh bagels brought me back to my childhood. Apple juice, orange juice, yogurt, croissants; Comfort Inn had me feeling uncomfortably stuffed so beware. Oh and the room was great, super friendly staff too!

Comfort Inn Windsor on Dougall has pleasant, friendly and fast service. You are always made to feel welcome and are greeted with a smile everytime.

Rooms were clean service was great breakfast was amazing and overall stay was good.

Kelly was very polite and helpful. I enjoyed the fruit available all day, and the breakfast in the morning… It wasn't the best breakfast, but there was enough selection that I could eat enough of what was appealing, and avoid the sausages and eggs. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious.
