We were given a room with a moldy smell and was beside the cleaning room making it noisy. We tried to change rooms but they claimed it was fully booked. My friends got a way better room and they just paid $4 more than mine! The manager called and offered 2 two bedrooms upgrade but I have to pay s as n CAD450! I declined the offer and I guess I have to put up with another night of disappointment : (I just console myself that at least we are not homeless and in the cold!

We checked in, and we weren't happy with it, they immediately changed rooms. Great service. I give it 4 stars.

This place is a DIVE to say the least. I booked based on photos that appeared to Be a newly renovated hotel. Wrong. We were placed into a room that was dirty, smelled and I was honestly afraid to take my shoes off. It looked like a completely different hotel. I called the front desk to ask where the rooms in the pictures were. Apparenty there was a maintenance issue but instead of telling me upon check in, they placed us in a different room. They changed our room for us only to have a rock hard bed, filthy room again. All that was new was the kitchen area, they painted over peeling walls, when you touched the light switch dirt literally rubbed off on your fingers. It gets better! Upon checkout they state that there was a glitch in their system when I checked in and I was double charged for the room (which was prepaid through expedia), plus the damage deposit (nearly $600 in over charges) Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere!

A few ways to improve. Well in a day of credit and debit collaberating, no reason that after the payment has gone through on whatever online format chosen whether it be expedia, hotels. Com or whatever it is, there is No Reason to deny us, (with a stereotyping crap attitude, … you dont have a visa, you cant stay here, ) visa debit is a visa. It is labelled visa, bank informed me it is a visa that has direct link to the bank funds. So why was I denied access to a room that was …paid for in full, then was lied to about a refund.
This money better get back in my account after she had us calling all the booking agencies just to be informed the "place of booking" was to refund. Clerk literally kust didnt want to. Lackadaisical if you ask me. All we wanted / needed was a washroom to use and a bed to sleep, to avoid being on the road tired at 2 am to have to drive back to Guelph after the concert we were attending. A direct message from the performer himself by the way, as I did the meet and greet for/ with Watsky, he asked if we we staying in Toronto. I gave the brief rundown and he says, F**k You! That must tickle your sphincter in the wrong ways. Have a aweful day, and hope your hotel fails in the future. Bye for now. Thats for ruining what was supposed to be a very anticipated date night for a couple of parents.

Quiet street. Adequately priced. Super friendly staff!

Beautifully kept with all the amenities in a great location at a very reasonable price. The kitchen is fully stocked right down to the wine opener. Even the dishwasher. Comfortable furniture and a great bed. Excellent friendly staff. The suite is immaculate.

Great service. Clean and tidy. Has swimming pool and gym. Has in suite kitchen. They missed to put some toiletries but the front desk was kind enough to provide them when I asked. Located in a not so busy street so it's relatively peaceful and quiet. Walking distance to the busy streets of Bloor and Yonge where you can find a lot of choices to eat.

This is more like renting an apartment than staying in a hotel. To be honest, we would not have done it except that we earned a free night on hotels. Com, which made it more affordable. Still $400 Candadian a night for a 2 bedroom suite with full kitchen is very reasonable, and it was really nice to have a bit more space for a night of our trip. In the basement of the hotel is a restaurant where you eat in the dark, with the purpose of giving you the experience of being blind. I have not done this, but know many family/friends who have, and if we would have planned to do this if we had known ahead of time that the restaurant was there…

Great Place. Central location. Rooms are nice but appear to have some underlying water damage issues. Doesnt affect quality of stay. Staff is attentive. Pool is big.

One of the worst hotels I've stayed at in the Toronto area. The room was nice and clean but the customer service was horrible. My credit card was charged twice and hasn't been refunded for over 1 week now. The front desk gave people who weren't staying in our room, a key to our room so when we came back to the hotel after a night out, there were random people in our room. Management said we couldn't make any noise after 10pm or have any guests in our room at all… which is ridiculous for the August long weekend. Skip this hotel, spend a little extra somewhere else for decent customer service.

I've long referred family and corporate connections to Town Inn as I've received good feedback and they provide fair pricing and corporate discount, but only recently stayed there myself. Renovated suite was spacious and comfortable and location very convenient for me, walkable to Yorkville, even to downtown core if you don't mind brisk 20min walk. My penthouse suite had issue with sound (there is a gym on top floor and people were dropping barbells and weights at 6am that made my ceiling and walls rattle). The staff and manager all tried to help resolve situation (the situation improved somewhat but overall I would say don't stay on PH floor if you can help it) and even sent me a follow up email so I was pleased with service.

From the outside it looks old and not nice at all but from inside it's renovated and not bad at all. We were initially on the 3rd floor but I asked to get a higher level room and they immediately gave me a room on the 30th floor. Nice view! However none of the balconies are accessible so you can only open the windows.

If I could give 0 or. 5 of a star I surely will. If your looking for hospitality and at least a meh customers service your choosing the wrong place. Front staff is extremely rude, the brown skinned man prefers to spell his words letter for letter because people don't understand speech. Issues with check in due to poor communication on the companies behalf which prompted men at the front desk to approach my friends and I in a rude behaviour question our attitude and on numerous occasions prompt us to leave. Don't get me wrong the room is very nice, had a great view. The glasses in the cupboard had some food caked on hallways smell a bit frowsy. Balcony doors are locked "due to security reasons". Poor customer service nice room. You have to pay $30 for parking. If your sending your kids here make sure they have there own credit card or they will be left on the streets.

The staff is really respectful, clean, helpful. I love the way everything is set up. The house keeping is phenomenal! Great place for children aswell! Very close to shopping centers, libraries, schools, and minutes from the CN tower! They even have a pool with a sauna! If happiness could make you a millionaire I'd be a billionaire lol I'm so corny… but over all 10/10+

I didn't have a good experience. The room looked cheap & dirty, the other guests made way to much noise after midnight & I came home with some red bites on my arms. This was after a overnight stay. The staff were very nice.

The rooms have been renovated recently but not well. It's just ok. Not bad, not good.

Horrible mix-up on the night of arrival almost left me without a room, and the front desk staff couldn’t be bothered to remedy the situation until a manager was asked for. The hallway smelled of caulking and plaster; the hotel was doing renovations without notice on their website. There was also blankets hanging in the elevators, caulking the size of a basketball in my tub to cover what looks like a hole, and putty dust in the hallways. Tried to work in my room on day one, but couldn’t focus because of reno crews sawing and hammering away in the room next to mine. The room cleaning is minimal; ex, not replenishing the coffee supply. I completed their survey that they sent by email, and a promise to be in contact followed the survey completion. So far, I have not heard from anyone. My advice — look elsewhere. The only reason I stayed the three nights that I did was I had no time to look around, while dealing with my work schedule.

Friendly. Apparently has just been renovated. There is some finishing defect, but overall it is perfect for a few days. Kitchen, crockery, washing machine, kettle, coffee machine. Everything is there to do well. The only problem is the heating system. Horrible, a sound of thunder. Catastrophic night because of the noise caused by the aircraft. Apart from that, everything is OK.

Spacious suites for the price of a dingy hotel room. Superb location. Great for long stays. Variety of good food in the hood.

The parking is confusing, drove around a series of one way streets trying to find our way back to the hotel. The person at the desk never told us we were going to have a 15 minute trip to get back to the front of the hotel because we have to travel around town on a series of one way streets. We were told there were going to be robes, when we got there the person laughed at me and said 'we don't have robes here'. Oh well I was told those were included. So I was lied too. I was told there was no trolly to help us bring our stuff up to the room, and no one offered to help us. We had to make 3 trips up to the room from the car, hurting our backs. Later that night I watched a family check in, they were OFFERED a trolly and a hand up to their room. So we were lied to AGAIN. We provided all the names of the people who were going to be staying the night in the hotel room, as we were asked. We had a couple of other friends meet us for dinner, we heard a knock on the door and were told we had to exit the room and weren't allowed to have a party it was 7 PM and we were simply meeting for dinner. We tried to check out the next day and were told we weren't allowed to check out until our room was inspected. We were told this was a policy and every room had to be inspected. I watched 3 other families check out with no inspection. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told it was their discretion that they chose to check our room. Therefore we were lied to once again.

Very convenient location. The rooms have been renovated and are comfortable and spacious. They are all however IKEA specials. Nothing exceptional. Unless you have a rate though work or an event, the prices are on the higher side. All in all its comfortable, clean and convenient with good service and ideal for stays of any duration especially if you want more than just a hotel room.

Apparently you can only have 2 (or more) people in the room at all times: registreered guests only. No outside guests, even if they are not staying overnight. Don't bother with this place if you want to remotely have anyone over to hang out and chill without having to argue with the front desk. You're better off at any other hotel.

Got a free upgrade to an exec suite room and it was clean, and very spacious. The staff were friendly and service was quick and very helpful when needed.

Nice hotel in a colorful part of town. We arrived into town not really knowing where it was. We pulled in late on the final day of the pride march and had to circle the city for hours since most of the roads were closed, this is in the heart of the gay district of Toronto. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean. The hotel is a little older, but we were in one of the remodeled rooms. Onsite pool and laundry facilities were nice. Parking was a little expensive, but you are right downtown. There are lots of places to walk to, lots of restaurants, and stores, including some parks (although there were some shifty characters at the local park) Generally felt safe walking around, even at night. Good onsite laundry facilities and a well enough appointed kitchen. overall a great deal for being in the heart of Toronto. The subway stop is only a few blocks away, and we went to the waterfront on the subway/trolley with ease.

I honestly wish I could attach the video. So that all my fellow Yelpers can LISTEN to the horrid bloody construction going on RIGHT ABOVE MY BED. I literally feel like the ceiling is going to collapse and I will be flattened by some over weight construction man, drywall, cement and a FKN SLEDGE HAMMER. If I could rate this "inn" in NEGATIVE stars it would be unbelievably pleasing for my thumbs to give this place an even more negative review. Good riddance.

Room is not how it was pictured online, very run down. Parking was 30+tax on top of what was an already overpriced room. Very small TV that didn't initially work when we got to the room. 10/10 would not recommend or go back. All wall plugs were very loose in the walls and when signing into Wi-Fi it only authorized our room for 1 device (4 people staying) when we asked we were told we could pay an additional 14.99.

This place is just a filing cabinet for extracting money from hapless travelers. Don't stay here. It's in a bad part of town and literally any other hotel in 1-mile radius would be better. The Comfort Inn a few doors down is cleaner for about the same price.

Stopped by briefly with my brother and father to help with my moving. Place was immaculate, was a great surprise! Location's excellent for walking around as well. Staff were friendly and helpful with provisions.

Walls were dirty, bathroom fan did not work, shower temp was very inconsistent, dodgy AC setup with wires poking out the bottom. Would not stay again or recommend to anyone. At least the staff were pleasant.

Hallways smelled of worldly foods and diapers. Main lobby and elevators always smelled like hot dogs. Room was baren. Floor uneven. Baseboards were dusty. Floor was grimy. I was afraid to take off my shoes. A million shelves with nothing on them. Room had a nice balcony but it was locked. When asked about balcony we were told the suicide rate was high due to multiple jumpers so the owner locked all the balcony doors. In a place like that I can believe it. Fridge door broken. Room has no temp control and an ancient air conditioner that when running sounds like a broken down car. We were also told by front desk that this was their better more updated of rooms. $30 PLUS TAX for parking. Would liken the experience to a hostel. Not a bad area and nice bed though.

Staff was friendly and the location was great for the price. However the rooms were poorly upgraded and the craftsmanship was poor. There was just sloppy finished all over the place. We had out room wall leak from a pipe from a joining room in the middle of the night and got up to wet clothes on the floor. He out friend have drainage issues with the shower in their room. The rooms were very spacious and having in the full kitchen in them was great. Based on friends with us I was told some rooms were nicer than others. The pool and gym/sauna we're apparently not bad. For a place to crash for the night it's acceptable, would not want to stay multiple nights however.

Hotel near the city center but very dirty and must pay $30 per day parking and $14 per day if you want high speed Internet and no access to the balcony. Bathroom plastered just before our arrival, tapestry takes off, hair on the walls…

The room looked a little run down for the price of the hotel. But I was able to over look that because very thing was well cleaned. The layout of the room was perfect and it was exactly what I was looking for. What bothered me was that I was able to enter the garage and nothing was locked. The garage door was open and the doors to get into the hotel. For the price of parking I expect my car to be secure. The Price of Parking bothered me. I know in Toronto parking is a premium online it had nothing online about parking so I called. When I called and the told me that parking is 27.00 for 24 hours. When I checked in they said the same. But when I got my bill there is a 3.00 tax on the Parking. Rrrr for a garage that is unlocked. I was upset. Because parking is not 27. It is 30.00. I feel that it is misleading. Also when I checked in the desk clerk told me nothing about the hotel or area. I didn't know where the pool was or where to get breakfast. Also the hotel is not suitable for stroller. There is no ramp from the garage to the hotel or the hotel to the elevator. It was hard to get around. = (

Experience totally nil Zero services, no climatisâtion, $27 + tx parking per day, it's not suites it's an ancient block renovated apartment experience totally crappy zeroooooooooooo the worse experience in my lifeeeee.

My hotel for when I travel to toronto. Located on church st right the village… it's close to a bunch of bars & not too far from the eaton centre. The rooms all have kitchenettes so it's like having a mini apartment for the weekend. The staff is friendly!

Maged (the GM) is a super nice guy. My brother-in-law is at Princess Margaret for chemo and he gave them a great deal on a long-term rental and bent over backwards to help!

Had room 1404 and 1503, both with simple plumbing problems. 1404 no hot water (temp mixing valve probably) and bath-to-shower knob was seized so I couldn't switch it to bath either, which really didn't matter after no hot water. Switched to nicer room with King, free upgrade, I appreciate that. Toilet took a few minutes to refill but the staff were very friendly and helpful so the plumbing was really minor in the end.

The room was disgustingly dirty, the heating was so disgusting and did not work, called the front staff, they did not seem to care and it was frigid cold in Toronto, the staff do not clean the bathrooms, hair was found everywhere, their standard of cleaning is unacceptable. Underneath the bed you could see all the dirt, hair, bugs, beds and hallway had a moldy smell. Stay away from this place.

The location is very convenient since it's near Yonge-Bloor. The staff are very friendly. What the hotel can fix is to install an air vent for the stove and to update their heater/air conditioner. I would book here for the convenience in location.

I stayed at the town inn. After a major fire. Were I lived. Stayed there for about 4 months. I found it very clean at all times. Front desk staff were very kind to me and many tenants who also stayed there after the fire. The cleaning staff were very friendly & polite. The 1 complaint I had was the resturant. You ate in complete darkness. And no room servise. Other than that. I highly recomend the TOWN INN. Although it has been a couple years. I would like to thank you for your hospitality. Good location, fair price, the room was clean. Light on amenities but everything essential was fine. Friendly helpful staff.

I have been booking with Town Inn Suites for my conference speakers for the last 8 years. It is close to our conference facility and you can't beat the price for downtown Toronto. I always tell my guests that while it's not the Ritz it is comfortable, clean and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Over the last several years they have been doing a lot of upgrades and it really shows. The suite I was in this past month was great — the kitchen was wonderful and the King bed was very comfortable. I would recommend Town Inn Suites.

My Experience at the hotel was just not the GREATEST. I was hosting a birthday get together and had booked the hotel for a night of fun. Where do I start… 1) I had booked the place through their website. (pictures are deceiving). When I had booked the hotel, I was not advised of any security deposit. ($200). I had called the hotel a day prior to confirm my booking and was only advised to provide my credit card for verification and no deposit was mentioned. 2) Parking fee is ridiculous. $24 dollars for underground parking. Even big brand name Hotel charge only $10 — 15. 3) Get to the hotel, it looks like an old apartment building (Shady) and it was an apartment building renovated into a Hotel which is over priced. 4) I get to the customer service desk, as the rep is talking to me he answers a call and start speaking on the phone and does not even apologize. I was being dealt with first, the phone call could have waited or answered by another associate. Lack of customer service. 5) I had booked the junior room with 1 queen size and 1 double size beds. I get to my room in a smelly elevator I find it's one room with 2 double beds. I called the desk I was told they upgraded my room to something and I still have the same beds I ordered. First of all I did not ask for an upgrade nor was I told at the time of check in. 6) I had ordered a cot for an additional cost of $25 dollars. The bed gets there with stains. Are you kidding me. 7) NO Wi-Fi, If I want Wi-Fi it's 14.99.

All good only q TV programming insortable and boring.

A good hotel! Often stayed there. Close to the Centre.
