Great Hotel and staff, good location, rooms are clean and lots of amenities.

The room was comfortable and spacious enough. It had a lot of new carpet off-gassing and some hallway damage — being corrected. I resent daily 'resort fees', particularly at non-resorts. Be aware that — despite not using any of this stuff, there's a daily charge.

Awesome service, great environment and close to major landmarks.

Was meeting a friend here. The residential apartments are really great. The loft style of apartment is spacious and inviting.

This is now our favorite hotel while staying in downtown Toronto. It was central to everything. We at dinner on King, went to Second City for a show and a Blue Jays game all within a 5 min walk. Beautiful room. Best eve ever had. Very clean! There was a mini bar area a walking in dressing area. Huge bathroom with tub and shower, and huge king bed. The bed was super comfortable. Would stay here again anytime.

Booked this hotel to stay at after our wedding reception. I was very impressed with the service and extremely satisfied with the customer service even when we checked into the hotel at 3AM. The room was very clean an well kept. Also a congratulations card and chocolate covered strawberries was waiting in the room for us. We felt very welcome and it was definitely the best night we could spend after getting married. Plus the heated bathroom floors was unique and amazing. Overall great experience. Would definitely stay here again.

Complementary Double-Upgrade. The room was super nice, very clean. The staff was very attentive to my needs. Anu at the front desk was super friendly, yet professional with a big welcome smile every time I walked in the lobby. I requested decaffeinated coffee, special pillows and it was taken care of with urgency. Overall very satisfied.

Everything about my stay was perfect. From the awesome staff to the heated bathroom floors, this boutique hotel went above and beyond. If you stay there, take the Lincoln house car — best decision!

Great Location. Clean. Friendly + Attentive. Room is comparable to the Ritz down the street but more affordable. Wahlburgers is a bonus. Lots of great restaurants in the area and steps away from King West.

For its location it was very reasonably priced. The room was very clean, beds comfy and hotel service was friendly. The pool wasn't open as late as it should be closing as early as 8pm.

Great hotel. Nice amenities in rooms. Room 334 was kinda loud being so close to the elevator… but it was the last sell room for a reason I guess.

Very nice, clean and tidy. But this place charges u for parking just for 10 min. Everywhere 15 to 30 minutes is free. I had a argument with the Gate operator. Staff at Reception were EXTREMELY COOPERATIVE.

Great customer service, kind smiling friendly faces, which is important to me. A smile goes a long way! A lovely hotel. Room was nice but I was surprised that the decor was a bit warn, couch, desk and bench look as though they were in a dorm guest room. Conversly, the bathroom was beautiful, loved the heated floors! Not sure I would stay again.

Very good location Close to the Rogers Center/CN Tower. Close to public transportation from downtown and Chinatown. Super Deco, bilingual service of the concierge. Lots of restaurants around. I would go back.

Our stay was great! Staff was very friendly, good atmosphere, room was amazing, very clean including the building overall. Enjoyed the heated floors in the bathroom. Pool was a good temperature! I would highly recommend and definitely go back!

Although the hotel amenities themselves are decent — comparable with those you could find at a Hilton or a Marriott, that was not what I was expecting. Certainly this does not feel like a 4/5 star hotel. One particularly unpleasant feature is a surprise "marketing fee" that is sprung upon you at check-out. It would be nice to simply include all fees under the nightly rate like nearly all other hotels do. Finally, the room and the floors are utterly unremarkable. The service — from the lack of a doorman to the veritable rudeness of reception staff taking calls in the middle of assisting you — is not what one might be used to. The check-out process ended up taking an entire half-hour during which neither myself nor my guest were offered any sort of refreshments nor even seats. Overall, I would strongly suggest staying at a genuinely luxurious hotel such as The Hazelton or The Four Seasons.

The service was great. Good food. Didn't sleep overnight but it looked like they had fantastic rooms.

Hotel staff is great. Booked with a third party which gave us a “double room” which was not listed on the hotel website. The third party didn’t describe the room very well and it was very basic and not what we expected. Thankfully the hotel staff quickly upgraded us to a larger room with a view of the CN tower. They also gave us a humidifier to use in the room. Everything was very clean and it’s nice to see that they sort their garbage. Great location and we never had to wait long for the elevator!

Amazing staff! Amazing room! Amazing service! Adrian was so helpful! He helped us with finding restaurants and places to go for a nice drink! And the great service doesn’t stop there, Nadine at front desk was amazing thru and thru! After a tiring day and a rough flight, she took care of my reservation impeccably and made the whole process easy and smooth with a genuine smile and kindness!

Very clean modern and trendy hotel. Rooms are large with walk in closet area and amazing bathroom complete with large shower and soaking tub. Heated floors were a nice surprise. Great artwork throughout hotel and in room. Automated drapes and do not disturb light. Light fixtures are cool and lightning options include under sink light for bathroom that works well during the evening or for lighting the bathroom at night to find your way in. There's a concierge service, but we did not utilize this. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall great hotel.

We stayed over the weekend and we had a great experience. The location was great. All the staff was friendly, professional and very helpful. The room was very comfortable. It was overall fitting with our expectations. The only thing that I would say I would improve is the restaurant selection. I personally would not recommend any of the restaurants. The Sen5es coffee shop use to be pretty good, but has lost its lustre and changed. However we realized this pretty soon and we stayed away from them. Given the great location there are many options around, so if you don't mind that, it is a great choice in downtown Toronto.

Clean, comfortable and not too far from attractions. It's a short walk to Rogers Centre and Gretzky's is right across the street. It's close enough to shopping, yet just far enough away from the hustle and bustle. I would recommend this hotel to a friend.

My partner and I stay at the Soho Metropolitan Hotel every year for a weekend in April to catch some Blue Jays baseball and to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel management has been very good to us by adding an extra treat to our room for us to enjoy upon our arrival. We also always receive a hand written card from the General Manager which is always a nice touch. The rooms are great but the bathrooms are AMAZING. Very luxurious and fit for a gal who likes some extra space while getting ready for the day or night. We always grab breakfast at Senses Cafe and this is the only part of the Soho Met preventing me from giving this review five stars. Senses has a great atmosphere and the food is mostly great. The service however can be hit and miss. During our latest experience, our server seemed checked out and was quite slow to get some of our small requests (like ketchup) to our table. The hotel's proximity to the Rogers Centre is perfect — in fact every year our window faces Blue Jays Way so we can easily see the crowds from our room. Overall we always enjoy our stay at the Soho Met and can't wait to return next year!

Loved the room and luxury bathroom … calm and comfortable. A great work/ personal getaway close to everything I needed. Quaint bar downstairs with friendly people and good food. Great place for someone traveling alone.

My wife and I are excited to be able to book a night stay in Soho. Every comment we read convinces us that we can spend a quiet night in a trendy hotel. We were very disappointed when we spent a penny of our money when we saw our room (which should be said to be a shoe locker) in Saturday after our long holiday in July.

The room was dirty, and the room wasn't replenished with supplies during their turn down service. Room service came and it was cold, second attempt only half the order came, third attempt came with a long hair on our eggs. We gave up and left. We were told we should have asked for more shampoo ect if we needed it. I thought for over $450/night, we shouldn't have to ask, they should have noticed that there were empty bottles, threw them away and restocked them. I guess that's asking too much. The creamers in our room were bad and we only had one coffee pod available to use. I guess you only get one coffee and one tea per room, then you need to ask for more. Just weird.

I stay at this hotel when in Toronto. They have confortable rooms that make you feel like home. It is well located, has two restaurants (Senses and Luckee), a gym, a pool, a car service and much more. Plus all suites come with heated bathroom floors and a huge soaker bath. The service is consistently amazing. I would recommend this place to everyone, especially business travellers!

The room was beautiful, particularly the bathroom with the soaker tub and heated floors. The staff was friendly and helpful. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that after spending the entire day walking around toronto we were really looking forward to the hot tub and pool to find out it closes at 8 on weekends. For the amount of money charged for the room, I would think they could keep that open later for the guests. The gym also didn't open till 8 the next morning and I would have liked to get a workout in before hitting the road for a 9 hour drive. The location was fabulous though, right in the center of everything we wanted to do.

This place is great. They have thought of all the small details that most hotels forget. Quiet and large rooms. Huge bathrooms with heated tile floors. The fitness area has a salt water pool, hot tub and steam room. And the old school toilet phone!

Impromptu trip to Toronto the plan the myth the legend went to Toronto just for mcdons 4 Jr chickens 1 bite. 17 dollar parking and we go on QEW and almost went to Niagara falls because of Mohammed alsyed.

Beautiful room, comfortable bed, and fantastic bathroom with heated floors, large tub, and bathrobes (no lie, that's one of the first things I check for at hotels). Room service was quite overpriced, but had good options. If the rooms were stocked with real coffee mugs, it would be better; the crap takeaway cups are wasteful and detract from the morning ritual. That's pretty nitpicky, I realize, especially since it's just a Keurig machine in the minibar, but it still struck me as odd. Overall, quite an excellent location — close to some fantastic restaurants, coffee shops, and bars, and perfect for my first stay in Toronto!

Great experience from booking, to check in, to check out. Will definitely stay again. Added bonus being attached to Wahlburger and Luckee. Will be back.

Wonderful stay. Excellent staff, made to feel very welcome. Xavier the concierge made our stay exceptional. Rooms were very cozy and clean. Would stay again for sure.

CHECKING IN: The front desk area was very neat and tidy. Our front desk agent was very courteous and the check-in process went smoothly. ROOM: Simply amazing. The sitting area and bathroom are separated from the bedroom by large sliding doors. There was a mini-bar with plenty of stock, and if you wanted to take the stuff out and use it as a fridge, it's easy to do as it’s not weight censored (at least our wasn’t). The entrance was very spacious with a place to sit and put your shoes on, very nice! Safe provided in a closet along with usual hotel amenities such as hair dryer. Bathroom: heated floor, floor light (great as a night light), large vanity area, shower separate from large soaker tub. Robes and slippers provided were a great addition. Sitting Area: A nice comfy couch with a coffee table and TV directly in front; great sitting area. A desk and chair are also provided for working and are located in a manner that make’s seeing the TV very easy. Bedroom: I don’t think I’ve ever slept with more comfortable sheets! Holy Boy they were awesome! There were light switches to turn on the bathroom light, to open/close drapes as well, and another flat screen TV to watch if desired. There was turn down service provided and they put a towel at the foot of your bed so you don’t have to walk around on the hotel carpet with bare feet. Sweet! GYM: Great, many modern machines, dumbbells, smith machine, medicine balls and universal system with cable pulleys.

My wife and I stayed here last night and think it is amazing. On check in we were greeted so warmly and felt right at home, our room was upgraded to a 2 room suite. Our room was very clean and tidy, it has a full kitchen, living room with TV, then a separate bedroom with sliding doors, and the bathroom even has a washer and dryer in a closet. Our whole experience here had been wonderful. Plus they have free Wi-Fi. We would come back here again.

This is defiantly the most comfortable hotel I have ever stayed at. The beds and linens are HEAVEN. Cleaning staff are a little on the lazy side, if your staying additional nights. When I arrived it was perfect. After having a few friends over, we had left some wine glasses on the coffee table and cleaning couldn't bother to pick them up. I also had to call for clean towels.
