So this place is basically a huge house owned by a very nice guy from, with small apartments or suites in it. To my taste it looks good and modern. Pros: good location a few blocks from subway and shopping mall. Close to bus stop (30 seconds walk). It makes you feel like home. Not noisy. Looks nice. Owner is friendly and welcoming. Food and shopping nearby. Cons: you have a TV in the room but not even 1 available channel. (why? ). The room I stayed in, the blinds wouldn't close so I had to hang a shoe on it to force it to stay closed. WORST CON: not very clean, how is islt possible to find about 3 long women's hair on the sheets while I was in bed, this most likely means they did not even bother changing the sheets after the previous guest left. Also whom ever did the cleaning, didn't bother to take the garbage out and left it in the kitchen's container. I walked barefooted around the living room while on the phone and when I got back to the bed my foot soles where covered with dust and who knows what else. — > this means the floor hadn't been swept in a very long time. JUST DON’T So last January I have to take an NCLEX (Registered Nurse Exam) that’s why I rented this place because it’s near to the exam centre. Around 3 weeks before the exam, I asked them if they have a room available and they said yes. Then I reserved the biggest room and asked them if I could check in around 2:30pm. Again, they said yes. Fast forward, I arrived on the check-in date at around 2:30pm. They asked me to wait for 30 mins because they are just preparing the room. After an hour they said again to wait for few more mins—again, “preparing the room and then I saw them changing the whole bed and taking out bed frames from the room. I checked in at around 5pm and was already tired to argue with them plus I was too anxious with my exam! Also, they kept on coming back to the room to fix and get few things from OUR room—meaning no privacy! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. If I did not have an important exam the next day, I would have just searched for another place.

Clean place with very friendly service. A bit noise letting room. Unexpected damage deposit.

They change your reservation for another room without notice. I asked for a two single bed bedroom but they gave me a double bed that I had no choice but to share with a friend because there was no other room left when we arrived. They don't accept Mastercard only Interac transfer (PLUS network) after regular hours. Then they ask you to cancel your reservation with Priceline even if you already paid through Priceline reservation and if you refuse you are stuck and you need to find yourself another hotel in the middle of the night. This tactic is most likely done in order not to pay for the referral fee to Priceline. The rooms are OK but you share some installations like the bathroom with other clients. Don't expect as much privacy as in an hotel. The hotel is a walkable distance from a subway station.

Very Nice place, not walking distance from town. We had a car but you can go by bus (10 minutes walk to the bus stop). The hostal will help you in any way.

This place's customer service is terrible. First, they can't even speak English. Then I spent 30 minutes on the phone, confirming the room's rate, price, and parking. She confirmed $109 for my queen bed with private washroom, and parking overnight. Then I even offered to provide my credit card information over the phone as a deposit for the reservation. She then told me oh sorry the rate is actually $115 because it's a weekend rate and she cannot process it. Then she tells me she is about to sleep and she's very sleepy, so sorry about the mistake. Wow! Seriously? I would not stay at a place with such terrible reception.

I had an extended stay here via Booking while some others came in through Airbnb. Sharon is a great manager and she's happy to help you with whatever you need. There were a few things I wasn't happy with by the time I left — there's always new people coming and going for different times which is great until you get the group that isn't friendly, the bathroom and kitchen are shared across the entire floor except for the one larger room which has it's own bathroom, the laundry is in the basement which costs a good sum each time, and during my stay a entirely new wall and room were built out of the living room I was paying for which seemed completely unfair to me. Personally, unless you're staying here for a few nights, you're better off at a real establishment.
