Very nice stay! All the employees I met were nice. A big plus and a big thank you for our maid Victoria who was very caring with us. Close to everything. Pool and indoor spa. And excellent restaurant L'azure ❤️ No negative point for me.

Great location in the city and top quality furnishings and finishing touches in a pristinely clean suite.

Terrible service. Completely unaccommodating when I needed to use the lobby washroom in an emergency when my room restroom was occupied. Ended up having to leave the premises to find relief. Unacceptable as a paying guest.

Sad bc I’ve been going to this hotel for years and love all the employees and the spa but heard how they discriminate and am so disappointed that I can sadly no longer recommend them to clients. Discrimination is not acceptable in any form.

The staff were outstanding & attended to all our needs. The front desk David & Jay we found particularly helpful & they went above & beyond our expectations, the valet service was exceptional & I'd like to thank Rino for all his help.
The night security Andrew & Yasim were great, very friendly & accommodating.
The room we stayed in had a magnificent view of CN tower, it was very clean, bedding was plush & soft.
Very pleased with our stay overall, we highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Toronto.

I have stayed at this Hotel numerous times, and they have been courteous and helpful every time. The rooms smell fresh when you walk in, room is clean, and the beds are sooo comfy you won't want to leave. Lol. I clearly love it here!

Newly remodelled bathrooms are amazing. The high tech lighting and clock in the mirror really help with getting ready!

Only complaint is my room had Nespresso machine. I tried to make coffee but this didn’t work well I asked for a Keurig but was told no it wasn’t available on my floor 3 mornings without coffee in my room until I went down stairs Other than that the hotel was amazing!

We came to the hotel to attend Fan Expo with 2 special needs people. The hotel has been over accommodating with raising the beds and finding appropriate parking for our large accessible van. The view is amazing and the people are very comfortable. We are soon heading down to the convention centre for a mix and mingle with some movie stars.

Locations is great! Rooms are very comfortable and appreciate the nice towels and house coat.

It is a typical city hotel with an established brand name family.
Older property updated and renovated, but still lacking the quality. Furniture was somewhat damaged and scratched, the bath room had dark spots around the bath tub, the carpet floor damaged and worn, the decor outdated. There are better option. Room service is good but pricey.
The front desk staff is professional, but doesn't give the impression of truly caring.
The concierge service stands out with a truly caring and professional attitude.
The spa area is clean, the pool well laid out — but the HOT TUB is just warm. The location is good and close to public transit.

I have stayed here at this brilliant hotel a couple of times a year, for over a decade, and good heavens this place is reliably superb; always. The staff are beyond perfect, accommodations and amenities are immaculate & upmarket, and location second to none. See you next time. Best, Daryl Gomm.

What a beautiful hotel. From the valet parking (excellent) to the comfy big bed and huge room (perfect for an anniversary weekend! ) and the convenient close location to attractions (Ripley's Aquarium, Rogers Centre) We had a blast and never had to drive anywhere. We will definitely stay there next time in Toronto.

The staff is always friendly and helpful, they really make you feel welcomed. The rooms are always clean and fresh and have awesome city views. It's close to so many attractions and right in the heart of downtown, I've stayed here several times and always look forward to my stay.

Beautiful lobby. Very clean and smelled great. Staff appeared professional and friendly. Hallways and elevators very clean and immaculate. Rooms have good proper soft sheets, the bed is comfortably soft, and the bathroom is pretty big and also tidy. Also had a scale. Will definitely be back!

This was a great hotel and I really enjoyed my stay. The room was very spacious and clean. The city view was absolutely breathtaking. The hotel staff were all very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be returning here if there is availability during my next stay.

From the valet parking to the spa this hotel all around has amazing staff! The staff in the bar and restaurant are awesome the one blonde bartender is my favorite she makes the best Tequila Sunrise iv ever had! The bell hops are super helpful and friendly, the pool and spa area is very clean and has extremely welcoming staff. Our rooms have always been clean, not a single spot on the sheets or the floor. This is also the only hotel where I can walk in and say how good the front entrance smells! Have not had an issue yet I doubt I ever will!

The location is perfect as you can walk to restaurants, bars, and entertainment. The bed was comfortable, the view was amazing, the spa was relaxing, and the staff were very friendly. The carpet had a few stains and there was some mold in the bathroom, but overall it was a great place to stay for 1 night.

I have stayed here multiple times, every stay is amazing. The rooms are always clean and the views from the windows are breathtaking, even if you don't get a room facing the CN Tower It's in the best possible location, right next to the aquarium and the Rogers Centre. The buffet breakfast has a good selection, it is rather expensive though. On the second or third floor there is a spa and a pool. The pool isn't massive, but it's still really nice. The water is usually very warm. Inside the changing rooms are showers with very nice smelling shampoo available for free. I think I would recommend this hotel to everybody, it's that wonderful.

Hotel was nicely designed. Staff were professional and best of all, just across the street from the UP train station. Would definitely stay there again.

Intercontinental name comes with an expectation for exceeding quality norms. The hotel is located downtown within walking distance of pretty much everything. Union station is on one side of the hotel and CN Tower on the other side. The lobby is large and welcoming and it was fast to check in. Nothing special. I've got a room in the third floor, very large, clean, but also dated. Everything looks like in late 1990's early 2000's. Another thing I didn't like is that there was no room service after 10pm.

Great location, adjacent to Union Station. Very comfortable rooms but state of maintenance not excelled, in general the structure is not very modern and sometimes you see. I found the price definitely high compared to the quality of the accommodation, however good.

Clean, comfortable and restful stay at this hotel. All amenities are there. Close to great restaurants, attractions, and theatre.
Check in and out is quick and easy process. Pool and spa are relaxing. Enjoyed the elegance of fresh flowers around the hotel. Conference and business centre is excellent. Hotel restaurant uses top quality ingredients, pricey but delicious food. Staff were fantastic from JP in valet parking to the conceierge who ensured my family members were looked after during our weekly stay. Felt safe and at home in this hotel. Highly recommended.

We love our experience at the Intercontinental on Front Street in Toronto. We stayed in a beautifully renovated room with all the amenities. He had use of the club floor lounge which we frequented often. Wonderful breakfast in the morning as well. The staff at the Intercontinental is so helpful and welcoming. Being an IHG member certainly has it benefits as well and we have enjoyed our Ambassador weekend each and every year for the past 8 years. We will be back, thanks for everything!

Stayed here for 4 nights with my family and enjoyed my stay. Staff was very prompt on our requests and customer service was timely and very respectful. The line up at the front desk was long and did take a while. Hotel was kind enough to provide a wheel chair free of charge for my parents for the entire duration of my stay and was allowed to use it outside the hotel as well. The TV in my room was old and slow, they could use an upgrade.

The hotel is right in the heart of downtown and walking distance to Rogers Centre and the Air Canada Centre plus most major attractions. It is a luxury hotel and frankly quite reasonably priced for a downtown Toronto upscale hotel. The dining room is spacious and bright and the food quite tasty. Rooms are well appointed and the swimming pool is especially excellent! Staff are plentiful and courteous. The common areas are well kept, modern and the hotel has a nice, light, fresh scent throughout.

Stayed in a Junior Suite. Room was super chic; bathroom big and modern; beds and pillows extremely comfortable; valet and check-in was a breeze. Room service was prompt and delicious. Pool and hot tub were great. Can't wait to 'staycation' here again.

I'm a returning guest to this hotel. I travel to this hotel about 45 times a year for business purposes. I am also and ambassador member of the IHG group. Check in with quick and seamless as usual. At this visit, front desk staff, as usual, was polite and efficient. I was offered a room upgrade as per the ambassador program, which I gladly accepted. My room, as expected, was clean and tidy. All amenities were properly placed and available. The condition of the room was Top Notch. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. At this visit, I have forgotten my toothbrush, which was not a problem as concierge gladly provided me with the necessary items. At the time of request, concerts actually did not have the items at their desk, and I received them properly after my request in my room. The staff that work on the floors appear to be happy working there. They greeted me with smile and consistently asked if I needed anything from my room. Check out was easy and efficient. You have a number of different options for check out. You can check out on the TV in the room, or choose Express checkout in which a bill will be delivered to your room prior to your departure or you can check out the desk. I also used to Business Center at this location. It was well equipped. Despite the fact that one of the printers were not working, the hotel and shirt that a second Dairy printer was available which was a color printer and all my business needs.

THE BEST HOTEL IN TORONTO! The rooms were very clean and modern. The staff was super nice and friendly. The floor we were on was very quiet and not busy. The best part was the room had a amazing view of the CN tower and the Toronto area. The location is so convenient located in the heart of downtown Toronto. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely come back here again.

The service was good once we made a complaint. The fan in our room had a big noise. They have to change our room after an hour and we give buffet for lunch. That was delicious. Good service was the end!

The intercontinental is a well located hotel in downtown. All downtown venues are easily accessible. The hotel is nice… as it is supposed to be a higher end hotel. However, I would only rate this hotel a 4 star as the bathroom is not upper scale. It has a basic tub and no high end touches. It needs a remodel desperately to really warrant the posted room rate. However, that being said, the rest of the hotel is nice and the staff is wonderful.

Lobby was welcoming. Access to rooms was easy. I was visiting an out of town friend who was staying there. Rooms were very nice. Loved the couples kits. Happy to see wine glasses in the room as well.

Really loved my stay. Service was personal and professional. Reveived a great welcome letter and complimentary refreshments and snacks. Any issues were quickly resolved. Room was neat and clean. I had a junior suite. Great overall experience and definitely recommend the Intercontinental.

Stayed in one of the corner rooms. It was clean and quiet! The view of downtown was amazing. Check in was fast, but the parking rates are very, very high. All of the staff that I interacted with were friendly, professional, and conversational. The cost of food was too high to entertain, what with such amazing restaurants so close to the hotel.

Outstanding staff who helped us find services in the area. They were very polite and helpful. The restaurant in the lobby served excellent food at a fair price. Toronto is a beautiful city and Canadians are the friendliest people. We will be back soon.

Great location for holding an event. Great place to stay. Above average service and very clean professional hotel. Food is amazing and very clean. Highly recommended. Next door to the Metro Toronto Convention Center.

We checked in early and the room we were supposed to get on 22nd floor wasn't ready so they offered us a room on 5th floor and to make up, gave us a voucher for 2 Sunday brunches which included tax and grats! Room was great; very quiet with best beds and pillows EVER. Bathroom amenities top notch and shower had rainwater head. All the staff were courteous and helpful including valet parking attendant. Was celebrating a milestone birthday and it was a 5 star experience. Expensive but that's downtown Toronto. Highly recommended.

They "upgraded" us to premium room with a good view… but the bed ended up being a queen size instead of the king size that we originally booked. Not much of an upgrade. The room itself also didn't have a refrigerator, or any usable outlets at the bed side. They could use a bit of an upgrade, more similar to their recent updates to Holiday Inn rooms.

FIRST CLASS HOTEL! My wife and I booked a room to celebrate our anniversary. Beautiful room with the most comfortable bed either of us have ever slept in. Best sleep we have had in so long. What mattresses do you buy for your Hotel? Staff was wonderful to deal with. Front desk agent was awesome, as was the entire staff at the hotel. The Breakfast staff, the cleaning staff were all amazing to us. Very personable and professional. Will be the only hotel we stay at when we visit Toronto from now on. We don't get a chance to stay away that often, but when we do it will always be here. Next time, hopefully two nights. Cheers and many thank to all of the staff that we were in contact with us, you made our weekend a great one! Highly recommend this hotel!

Only went here to use the pool, as the pool at Fairmont Royal York was out of service. The pool was very nice and spacious. It also had a nice waterfall and fake palm tree to make it look more tropical. The staff there were very friendly and courteous as we went to the pool. If I had the chance to stay here, I definitely would.

It's a pretty fancy hotel. Stayed here for a work visit and the room was super nice and the bed super comfy. Great location if going to a conference, event at the skydome and just down the street from Union station.

The staff was incredibly accommodating. We had a lake/CN tower view. Room was smaller, but wonderful. Close to absolutely everything you could want to do in Toronto. Will stay again!

Attentive and friendly check-in. Rooms in excellent condition. Housekeeping and other staff are consistently polite and appear happy to be working there. Interior common areas well kept. Spa therapists are extremely attentive and go out of the way to provide you with tips and recommendations to improve your health. Location of hotel excellent especially for those travelling to and from Pearson airport as there is the direct train UP Express that spans the 2 locations with a 25 minute commute. It is also close to many excellent restaurants and entertainment venues. Beautiful views of Lake Ontario from inside rooms.

We stayed in room 705. Our room was great. Very clean. I have to say that the only two things I wasn't happy with was our view. We faced the back of the hotel so we saw a metro and tracks. Our bathroom sink had issues draining too. Otherwise we are very impressed with the hotel. Very beautiful and swanky.

From the time we arrived the staff was excellent and helpful. The concierge was helpful with getting us around town to different locations and with suggestions if things to do. Our room was beautiful and had the greatest view of the city.

They had me at Starbucks coffee fresh at 5am. Gym open 24 hours. Super pool and hot tub. Pillows as soft as marshmallows. The toiletry items smell lovely and our room view is amazing. Add in superior staff at the desk. Rooms. Restaurant and I am back! P. S the key swiping in the elevator takes getting used to but its a community bond when someone steps in to help.

My partner and I attended the InterContinental to dine at their Azure restaurant. The restaurant is beautifully laid out; modern, elegant, and clean, and so had set high expectations of the food. We both had duck to start, followed by chicken supreme, then a strawberry tart and cherry panna cotta. The meal was excellent, and along with a glass of Shiraz plus a gin and tonic, came to $160 (CAD), which I thought was very reasonable for what is clearly an upmarket establishment. Service was good, and most importantly friendly. The atmosphere was laid back, and not unnecessarily stuffy and formal as you might expect. Most people were either wearing smart casual wear, or some in suits. You wouldn't feel overdressed in a suit, but you wouldn't really feel under-dressed in jeans either. All in all, a very enjoyable evening.

Front desk agent Mike N. Was awesome and went over and above helping us to print last minute Blue Jays tickets and recommending places to eat. Very personable and professional. Will be the only hotel we stay at when a visit Toronto from now on.

Had a full spa day with my girlfriends including lunch most amazing time massage, body wrap, steam room, pool and hot tub service and people amazing.

Perfect view of the city and lake side. Room was at a nice cool temperature that made it easy to sleep. Sheets were soft and room had everything needed to make my trip comfortable.

Our company used the Intercontinental Hotel to host a private event for our friends and partners attending a conference at the MTCC. We used the Humber Room for several hours. Appetizers and beverages were served. Overall, it was an excellent atmosphere for our event.

Nice staff, but really a complete dump caught in time that is less than spotlessly clean, frayed around the edges, severely dated — — one only needs to pop into the Ritz Carlton or Delta to see the difference — a tourist class hotel with a lobby smelling of Lysol and is just plain old by Toronto standards — — — the building is past its lifespan and will be torn down for a much more impressive 80 story modern structure it is only a matter of time. Not the worst value, but not impressive and disappointing for certain. Very dated. I had guests from Europe here and after this, would likely never stay at Intercontinental again… really a hotel dated by 20 years at least.

To be fair we never stayed at the hotel, but on a cold rainy day we thought we would stop in for drinks a their bar. The prices are $$$, we actually sat down, looked at the menu, and then quickly left and went across the street. I guess they have to pay for that big building. However, they should be in the reasonable range for glass of wine (small ounces) and beer. Come'on guys! I guess that is why only two people were there.

-It's 2016 and you still have to pay for Wi-Fi, had to go to the RBC Centre to use free Wi-Fi from Harvey's. Less class than a fast food restaurant… -Food is terribly overpriced and is of terrible quality, go out for food, only eat there if its an absolute last resort. Like if there's a flood, or a terrible storm, basically if walking outside for 5 min may kill you then by all means eat at Azure. -Servers will still likely interrupt your meal while you're eating to give you the bill, that's class. -The building is beautiful though, the rooms are nice and the concierges are helpful as well. -Overall the most unpleasant stay I have ever had at a 4 star hotel.

Went to visit a friend sho was in town for a conference. Room and view were great. Had a nice drink in and the bar. Overall a good experience. I would book there if I was at the convention center.

Stayed at hotel with friends for new years eve. Friendly staff, nice rooms. Good security in lobby which was nice. Great view of CN tower. Would recommend.

Stayed here for one night this past week. Were given a very clean, recently renovated room with two queens, nice view overlooking Union Station and east end of waterfront. Comfy beds. Nice pool, hot tub in the spa. Very friendly, helpful staff. Not all 4-star and up hotels are family-friendly; this one was. Because we were there between Xmas & new years, I can't say what it would be like when a convention is in town, but we will certainly try this hotel again. Car access/parking is a bit awkward (and parking not cheap) but that's the same story for most downtown hotels in Toronto.

The worst hotel experience ever. The service desk staff are rude and the service is terrible. We requested a folding bed and were told we can't have one for the room, even though the staff informed us we can prior to booking the room. The room was ok and the bathroom did not have proper ventilation. The remote control for the TV was not working and we had to wait a full day for the staff to bring a replacement. We also requested an extra blanket and were told that the hotel ran out of blankets. Overall, the fee for booking a room is definitely not worth it with the overall terrible customer experience.

Amazing hotel in a splendid location. The rooms are very spacious and the glass windows are very large, providing a good view of the city. Even if we stayed in a room opposed to the CN tower, the view of the city was still enjoyable and we could see the reflection of the tower on the buildings at night. I would definitely love to stay there again.

Very nice staff, nice hotel. Close proximity to Toronto Island airport (10-12$ cab ride), nice meeting rooms as well. No complaints here, other than food being a bit on the pricy side.

I was surprised that a hotel this chic had such uncomfortable beds. The bed was lumpy, and the cotton sheets were so pilled that I thought at first that they were texturized. The pillows were huge and the duvet inside the duvet cover was yellow with age. It just didn't fit with a room that was supplied with bathrobe and slippers, a Keurig coffee maker, a huge flat screen TV, and a gorgeous bathroom. I think people will need to decide just what is important to them.

Stayed here 1 night after attending Neil Diamond concert at the ACC. We arrived at 9.30 am and had no problem checking in at that time by an extremely courteous and helpful front desk employee. Our room overlooked the lake and was clean with many extras. Would not hesitate to stay here again as it is walking distance to many attractions. All staff we encountered were courteous, pleasant and very helpful. Recommend highly and an added plus is we booked using air miles. Found breakfast on the pricey side but alternatives are close by.

Excellent. Friendly staff, great time. Only cons are the towels are old and need to be replaced. The hot tub closes early on Monday nights and the spa is closed on Mondays as well (but mostly booked up the rest of the week which doesn't quite make sense why they wouldn't keep it open Monday too. ) Overall a great experience, highly recommend it.

Stayed here during a convention, (with a provided discount) it was definitely worth the price. The staff kept the rooms clean and tidy, we were provided with a great view and excellent service. It's in a prime location to visit the convention center without any travel.

Chic, modern hotel in the middle of downtown Toronto. Our view was of the CN Tower, right outside our window! Very impressed with everything from style of rooms and amenities to the outstanding food and customer service. Plus, my brother and I got to shake hands with a hockey legend! I'll definitely be staying here next time I'm in Toronto.

First of all, the parking is not clearly marked in the parking garage and it seems as though you HAVE to use valet parking, which indeed you don't. Warning: overnight parking costs $28.00. I feel for the cost of one night in the hotel. Parking SHOULD be included. Next, We stood in line for approximately an hour just to check in. I have stayed at MANY hotels throughout my life and this is the FIRST time I have ever had to wait in a line to check in. The WORST part was they had 4 people working the desk. While checking in. One employee mysteriously disappeared from checking people in. Must have been their "break time" or end of shift. But with a line like ours, you would think the employee would be encouraged to stay. When we FINALLY arrived at the desk, the employee was kind, and said we were pre-paid, etc. Etc. But then told me they had no rooms available. Apparently the maids couldn't keep up with the demand of the rooms. I told the employee that we had been traveling by car for more than 5 hours, and waited in their line for an hour and a room I booked back in February was NOT READY! She disappeared into the back and then came back and magically had a room for my family. It took me turning "ugly" to get a room. We were on a time crunch in order to get ready for a concert we had tickets to at the Rogers Centre. Other guests were told they didn't have rooms either and their luggage was piled up in the lobby.

A world renown chain that delivers! Great location, service. Azure Lounge is THE place to spend a nice, relaxed evening with friends, and don't forget to check their martinis.

Supposed to be a 4-star hotel, hot water isn't even hot (during the evening)! Ordered a hamburger from room service, the ground beef was pink! Paid $13.95 for the standard internet, was unusable for most of the night! They charge for local and toll-free calls! Really!? For what we're paying for a night, you still have to charge for FREE calls!? I made maintenance come up and measure the hot water temperature, it was only 105F after letting it run for excessively long. That's a kid with a bad fever, not a boiler! Hydro Ontario recommends CONSERVING energy by setting your hot water to 140F. 105F is 25% LOWER than a CONSERVATIVE setting. This is only a problem in the evening, hot water is fine in the morning. Don't stay here unless your company is paying for it, even then, consider somewhere else. Isn't worth the price or the disappointment.

You get what you pay for, and in this case you get a very nice, clean, efficient hotel. I had no complaints the one night (a Saturday) I stayed there. Checking in and out, the desk staff was very polite and quick to get me on my way. The InterContinental was more expensive than hotels I usually stay at but was most convenient for where I needed to be. If I need a hotel in the same spot, I'll stay there again.
