Stayed here after my flight, room very clean indeed, very front desk staff. Great evening supper, super nice servers/bar staff, it's great to see employees enjoying the customers. Went to the pool, only problem was it was very cold water which didn't make for an enjoyable experience. This mornings breakfast was great, nice fresh hot food, great buffet choice. Would recommend to anyone, as 2 minutes from Terminal one, would stay here again Thanks all.

They lost my business and anyone that I know. First off they charged me for my room 4 days before I was to arrive. Even though I canceled due to Covid. They would rather I stayed and exposed their staff and customers to Covid. Never will I book there again. I guess $200 is worth more to them then peoples health.

Very accommodating staff. They upgraded me when there was a disrupt with my flight to a Master suite. Also, the restaurant attached "Perkins" has very delicious food. The staff was very Friendly.

Absolutely amazing place to stay :) I checked in late last night, they were leaving dinner at everyone’s door, because I checked in so late, there wasn’t one on the cart for my room, the lady handing them out went above and beyond and made sure I had food:) and for the record it was delicious, and yes I had Utensils! The room was spotless, the bed so comfy, and heated bathroom floors, amazing :) will definitely be staying here again :) also the staff downstairs were very nice and very friendly :)

Run. By far the absolute worst customer service from their managers. Rude and condescending. We are in retail and would never speak to clients the way they have spoken to us. For the price you pay the quality of the room is not there. We want a clean comfortable no hassle stay. Absolutely no customer service. Not even lip service. Black hairs on the pillow. Thin walls so I heard a conversation from what sounded like a couple of pilots discussing the new corona virus outbreak and what security and airlines are doing about it. How it resembles sars and how he is loving all these direct flights because he can pack in a small bag. He was talking at a normal voice but you could hear everything, did I mention this was at 2am? It took forever for security to show up and Altho they were polite and professional, they took their sweet time getting there. The guests had no idea they were speaking loudly. We heard every word from security. None of the doors to the rooms have slow release or cushioned frames. So every time someone opens and closes it, basically slams closed. 15 room a floor. Do the math. The heat was broken in the restaurant and the manager was upset about it. She was also complaining about how they were short staffed. Parking is $27 a day. Uncovered. The second night we arrive, after a long day at a tradeshow we arrive to a sticky substance leaking from the other room. Ew. The girl who came to clean, Lisa. Was kind and compassionate with the situation.

This place is so dirty and gross Dennis the duty manager has barley any social skills period let alone the ability to handle customer service issues or complaints … I specifically mentioned I was dissatisfied with his lack of appropriate resolution of our issues and stated my intention to review these issues on social media … his response. “Ok”. Followed by a blank stare … honestly his further employment by this chain is deplorable proof that profit is paramount and clientele satisfaction is not even on the radar.

Rooms were clean, beds are comfortable, restaurants close by. Great for conferences.

Fast check in friendly staff great conference room lovely rooms.

I just held a 60-70 person engagement party here in the Roof Garden room (Aug 2019) — and truly loved the experience! The room is great — with nice decor, good spacing, and views of planes taking off and landing! The food (we did an Indian fusion menu) was very nice — with people enjoying the apps, mains and dessert! Lastly, the staff are the ones who made it all happen — all the way from our actual sales manager, to the manager on site that day, to the catering staff there with us. They were all friendly, helpful — and did all they could to accomodate my requests. We're already considering the venue for our wedding events! :)

Amazing staff! the hotel is clean excellent service and great food.

Really impressed with the staff and cleanliness of the units.
One suggestion would be to have a swimsuit spinner so those that have an early flight next day could still enjoy the pool.

Needed more decaffeinated coffee pods for morning coffee in the room and asked at the front desk. The coffee pods were delivered to our room shortly after we got in. Now that’s service.

Booked in for 4 nights for business.
Origionally requested room with fridge / microwave. When arrived told no rooms have those. When I said I had called and was told otherwise, I was told oh — that is for "upgraded" rooms thatwe are currently booked and have no availability. — Day 3 no housekeeping service by nòon — so I call housekeeping and was told they would be in by 12:30… at 2:30 they show up, seemed anoyed that we would request housekeeping… they made bed — restocked towels and that is about it… floor not swept, coffee not restocked, ice bucket not cleaned (no replacement bag left)
went to front desk to say how disappointed I was in this, was given 2 garbage bags to put ice in!
shortly thereafter someone came up to room with 2 coffee cups and 2 k-cups
Usually have great review of Holiday Inn — however this is not one of them.

Clean and modern hotel. Free shuttle to Pearson every half hour. Pleasant staff, check in was easy and fast. Pool was very large and had a decent deep end for a hotel. Perfect stay and price was reasonable. Not overpriced like downtown hotels.

Paid over $300 for a “deluxe” room but I suspect that’s just a regular room with a jacked price due to flight cancelations and sudden surge of stranded travelers. Many things need some serious upgrade and shuttle took a long time to come. But in the end we got what we needed: a bed to sleep after a canceled flight. Nothing more, nothing less.

Staff was helpful. They place is little expense for what you get, but the place was clean. Nice locate to Toronto and wonderland. The room is great if you have a family bigger then four. If you do stay here drive a little way to eat place around the hotel are expense. The pool area is great nice and room. There room come with nothing but bed and tv.

Amazing staff, comfortable beds with nice amenities in the room. Great restaurant to have a bite to eat. We did stay again during our return to canada from vacation. Once again the staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Our room on both visits very clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows are perfect. In room coffee is the best thing after a long day of travel.

Due to airline/airport troubles missed our connecting flight. After standing in the airport for 5hrs trying to get it all sorted out. The airline gave us a voucher for a hotel and meals.
There was a shuttle bus that came by with the hotel name on it, tried to get on the bus. He wouldn't let us. He rudely asked what address we were supposed to go to. We didn't know. He said not him, wait for the next bus and drove off. He could have provided better customer service. He could have checked with his director to find out for us.
Luckily there was another shuttle bus that came by. The driver was apprehensive about all of us. I don't think he was aware of 6 separate families going to the hotel.
The front desk was kind and efficient.
I notified the restaurant that there were so many of us.
We got our room put our bags in the room and went to eat. The staff was great. Food tasted good.
Beds were comfortable having a hot shower was marvelous.
Buffet breakfast was good but a little over priced.
Shuttle bus took us back to the airport.

Simple but welcoming hotel near the airport.

The staff, in short, were amazing! From check-in to check-out the customer service was superb. Tony checked me in and was personable and very helpful. All staff I encountered, especially those who assisted with the conference were great at all times. The room was clean and comfortable. I found my bathroom to be a little dated but was functionally fine. I always have a pleasant experience when I am at this hotel.

I stay there very often for work. The staff is always super nice and helpful. The room are clean. The food from the restaurant is not bad either. Would greatly recommend to a friend.

Clean room with great service! We were offered help with our luggage a couple of times and someone also offered to bring back the luggage trolley (Which was in good condition as is not always the case at some hotels). This was my second stay at this hotel and the first time was similar. The restaurant inside the hotel is what really makes this a great place to stay. The kitchen is open until midnight, the servers are all so friendly and very attentive and the food and drinks are so yummy! I ordered the stir fry both times but asked to make sure it is vegan and for some reason it came to me without the tofu both times but I actually didn't mind because it was just the right size portion to fill me up and I so enjoyed every bite! My toddler enjoyed the stir fry too but there is a kids menu. There's just not really anything vegan on the kids menu. Everyone that I ate with (none of which are vegan) just loved what they had as well and somehow the atmosphere is great at night! It was quite busy both times I visited but nothing was lacking as a result and everyone just seemed to be having a really good time! I will probably stay at this hotel and dine at the restaurant there every time I'm flying from Toronto in the future! Oh yeah the park and fly is great here with a very clean, well lit and safe, secure parking structure which is covered but open air and the airport shuttle service was punctual and the driver was great! And the rooms are quite spacious and comfortable!

Stayed over for a conference in the hotel. Nice rooms. Good cleaning staff. Great pool. Nice food for hotel conference food. Bar prices are pretty steep (11.90 for a draft beer) and service was brutal.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel, clean, bright and airy lobby and restaurant. Room was very comfortable and modern. Called housekeeping a couple time for supplies, they were knocking at the door within minutes, very good service. Rooms were quiet which is impressive given proximity to the airport. The pool is a very good size and was clean with plenty of towels and a large shallow area for kids. Lots of dinning options in the area.

Great location close to the airport.

Speedy service, good room service, and a good place to stay close to the airport. Nice room and I even felt comfortable having a bath, which may sound weird, but I always appreciate a nice clean tub. Only drawback is that the restaurant surrounding varies from subway to max-out expensive steakhouse with less in between for a good vegetable-rick meal, but I'm not complaining. If you are allergic to nuts beware the deserts for they mostly contain.

A nice hotel after all the airplane bugs.

Great place to stay. Room did not have a microwave or fridge but very spacious. Lots of paid parking and shuttle to the airport. The buffet breakfast is spectacular. It had absolutely something for everyone. Very nice restaurant eating area.

Their convenience store closed 30 mins early on a busy Friday night. It would have been more professional to put a sign on the door or some other notification. Other than that the room was OK.

We went to the restaurant Ruth's Chris. The staff was so welcoming and helpful, the atmosphere was absolutely wonderful, and perfectly romantic. There was an issue with the power and the staff reacted right away and didn't let it interfere with the guests experience. To top it off the food was absolutely divine! I swear I've been dreaming about it ever since! I can't wait till we get the chance to go again!

I was visiting this hotel, staying for almost a week for work. I personally witnessed the restaurant manager yell at a guest for asking to heat up their food. He also lied and said the lasagna was vegan when clearly it was not. The front desk staff were friendly though and the cleaning staff went out of their way to help me with an issue I had there. However when I wanted to recognize the staff that had been so great, the manager would not allow it and these staff went without appreciation for what they did for me. This is not a location I would seek to stay at again.

Staff is always friendly and willing to accommodate. For an airport hotel this place is hard to beat for the price. Rooms are clean and comfy. This location also provides a free airport shuttle every half hour, 24 hours a day.

An ok room for a 1 night stay for a flight out in the early a. M. It was a good rate for a weekend. Nothing special. Restaurant food was ok, but nothing special. We likely would stay there again if the price was still a good price.

Good service, nice facilities in general. The décor of the conference rooms is in very bad taste, but other than that, it's fine.

Rooms have been refreshed and service is excellent but I have stayed at more beautiful Holiday Inn hotels before. Cool bar and restaurant but no room service. What airport hotel doesn't offer room service? My room didn't have an in room safe and that is almost a standard feature in most full service hotels. Great location though.

Nice clean rooms. Very quiet, which is important close to the airport. Walking distance to lots of food options. You could walk to the airport if you needed to but why would you with good free shuttle service. My only complaint was the air conditioner in my specific room wasn't very powerful and a bit louder than I would have liked but you could do a lot worse in lots of hotels around here. I know the other rooms have better air conditioning systems as that has been the case for most of my visits. I would recommend this location if you are looking for an airport hotel.

Room was great. Nice and clean. All staff we encountered were pleasant. The catered meals for our conference were not quite hot enough when served. But the food was still tasty.

Check in was fast and easy. Good location. We stayed in Room 1013 which was at the end of the hallway facing Dixon Road. Had trouble sleeping due to the noise from outside including planes overhead. Bed was comfortable and room was new and modern. There was no bar fridge in the room which would have been nice. $25 for parking.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn the night before flying out at the airport. The rooms were clean and the beds we're very comfortable. We woke up early and stopped for the breakfast buffet. The food was fresh and although it was a little pricey, everything was very good. I would highly recommend staying there.

The rooms and hotel was very nice. However the food was VERY expensive. At other holiday ins I've stayed at had a free buffet breakfast. So went I went to the kitchen to eat I thought it would be the same. I wasn't warns at all about the price or anything. It ended up costing $46 for my husband and I to eat breakfast. Wasn't very happy.

Irene was great. Everything else could stand some improvement. The shuttle service is TERRIBLE. Being an airport hotel means more than 1 shuttle an hour outside the morning rush. My shuttle was late and it's not the 11st time. Then they falsely advertise on the phone that they're the closet hotel to the airport, when there is a Hilton VISIBLY closer. Vending machines were Out of order on my floor as well. Bad experience for me. Not looking forward to any return.

The property is very beautiful, and luxurious. Too bad it's far from the center.

Toronto Airport Interaction.

I get to stay at this hotel pretty often. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean. Location is great for me (close to the airport). The restaurant as really good selection. Pool and gym available as well.

I booked months ahead of time and could never get a straight answer for any questions I had. I had to bring a few hundred cash to make sure I was covered because everyone I spoke with told me a different deposit amount from 50 for four days to 50 a night and it cost me 250 in total. They have a door man and claim if I went for a smoke after 10 pm he wouldn't let me back in without I. D no exceptions. I paid $786 including deposit and was not treated as a paying customer or valued guest. Check out was at noon but the housekeeping knocked on my door from 9 and than asked me what time we were leaving. The Wi-Fi sucked, my television never worked properly and my air-conditioning leaked all over my floor. So being woken up early before a long drive home I stepped into a cold lake beside my bed. The food was extremely over priced for small portions and little options. Upon checkout they tried to keep an extra $22.00 for parking which I had already paid the day I checked in and then proceeded to tell me they overcharged me $3.00 which was never refunded and just brushed off. Now three dollars isn't the end of the world but for as much as I paid and the poor service I had I will never stay at this hotel again! The one star they got from me was the appearance of the hotel but the way I was treated and how belittled I felt staying there was appalling.

This hotel is in final stages of a multi-year renovation, top to bottom. Modern, attractive rooms have laminate floors which are cold on bare feet. Bathrooms have heated tile floors. Desk outlets are inconveniently placed high up under the edge of the TV screen, and the only desk light is in a cove under the switch and outlets — — gives very little light on the desk. New multi-level parking garage solves long-standing parking problems. Renovations removed the old outdoor pool and the hot tub, but the indoor pool area is all fresh and new. The bad news: the old heating/air-conditioning units dating back to the 1960s were not replaced. Some of them don't work very well. Staff and service throughout the property are outstanding. Rooms are two sizes — — try to get a room from 50-61 on each floor for more space, and especially a larger bathroom.

The rooms were spacious and the bed was huge. Best sleep I have had in weeks. The buffet breakfast was extensive. All the food was well worth the money. All of the staff were very helpful and professional. I think I will make this a yearly event.

The hotel was nice and clean, the hotel breakfast was good as well, tasty and always comes hot. Service was quick and no issues occurred.

Wish I could leave a negative review. PSA: Dont stay at the Holiday Inn international Airport! tl;dr they basically stole 200$ from my bank account I booked in June, right after Anime North 2015. Knowing I was rooming with 4 other people (which they allowed), I booked a room with 2 queen beds, then requested extra pillows and blankets for one person to sleep on the floor. I went with my boyfriend (one bed), my 2 girl friends (one bed), and a friend who was coming in from New York JUST for AN2016 (floor). We got thrown into a room with one bed and given no extra pillows or blankets, even when we asked! As well as the phone in our room didnt work (no dial tone), so we couldn't call down to the desk (we were on the 8th floor! ). We made due and got a cot and made one of my friends sleep on a chair (and after a day in cosplay heels nonetheless… Sorry Jewel.

They are renovating the place getting better than before but I don't like the price of parking $20 per night. Otherwise the food was good there.

Arrived and beds were unmade. Didn't get the two Queen's we wanted, got doubles. So sleeping was uncomfortable.

We were at Meadowvale holiday inn last week… what a contrast. Big swimming pool with ice cold water, ongoing construction noise — kids couldn't sleep in. Dated room and fittings. Laminated floor that looks filthy. Dirty coffeemaker. Etc beware —

Quick check in and out. Room was clean and comfy. No climate control. Just heat on or off.

Absolutely have had an excellent experience, at this location, every time we stayed here! (Right now, that means M-F every week, to every other week, for our jobs! ) The entire hotel staff goes above and beyond covering every detail. Each individual in every position that we have met, has been extremely friendly & accommodating. I was especially surprised, when I asked how long they have been with this hotel, with thier answers… Except for 2 new hires, they've all been here a number of years, and love their jobs! I believe that says a lot about both the employees, and the management's success at building a strong team! Would highly recommend this hotel!

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The 6th floor is known as a Bed Bug Capital!. There was a flood last year. And it still smells! The front desk has no customer service. The rooms are dirty. I always find dirt on the carpet. Once a fork. And the coffee cups were not clean. Hair in the bathtub. And the worst internet service I have experienced in a hotel.

My aunt stayed here a couple nights and I came up to have dinner with her. Some of the worst hotel costumer service we've ever experienced. The concierge was never there, we had to go to the front desk to ask for things. The restaurant staff brushed us off to help people who weren't ordering anything (just had questions). And when I want to request a taxi, it became an ordeal. My aunt says her stay (5 nights) was stressful, which is unfortunate as this trip was supposed to be relaxing for her.

I stayed at another hotel in the area for 4 days in the Toronto Airport area and found it a really nice place to be. Upon getting to the airport to leave, my flight was cancelled and WestJet sent us here. I have to give Kudos to Westjet putting us up, and have no complaints about a turning down a free lunch. But staying here did make me ask the question, why would you. There are a multitude of hotels in the area, in fact every road is littered with them. The one I stayed at was actually cheaper, it offered more services, the staff went out of their way to help and be nice. What I experienced here was an OK hotel. But OK isn't enough at $100+. What really wound me up however was the 45 minutes I spent waiting to be served in the restaurant in the evening. I don't mean, for the food, I mean just to be served. Yes I was on my own, and I was a little bit engrossed in the Ice Hockey. But I had a menu at my table, no drinks, no food and every waiter just walked right past me. Now I'm a typical Englishman, too polite to peoples but in and ask for something and to actually but in. But in the end I walked out; at such venues one is expected to pay a little bit in gratuity. My gratitude had run out. Basically, this is an OK hotel. But there are dozens in the area that will treat you better, charge a little bit less if anything and will make you pleased to have been there. This one just wants you in, pay your money and out.

Over all is good: Pool and gym are decent. Rooms are old. Shower is ok but you'll notice things such as tap's cold and hot are switched around. The shuttle driver was very friendly but the bus was so old you'd not believe it licensed in Canada! Breakfast was good but over priced at $20 for buffet. TV was good. 2 minute drive to terminal 1. In general, I've been noticing deterioration in 3-star hotels in Toronto for some reason.

I had a rather weird request. I had double booked two meetings — One finished at 5:00PM and the other was an overseas conference call at 5:30. The problem was that I would be two hours from my office when the first meeting finished. I contacted the Holiday Inn at Toronto Airport to see what they could do to help. A young guy named Ashton took all of the particulars and said he would find a solution. Off he went and when he came back on the phone he asked me to call a young lady named Priya the next day. I contacted Priya and she was very helpful. I explained that all I needed was a desk and Wi-Fi for about two hours — hotel room, board room, quite corner in the kitchen. I didn't care. She got back to me within 30 minutes and all was arranged. The hotel was full so there were no rooms, but they set me up in a boardroom at a very reasonable cost. When I arrived Ashton and Priya were on duty and I was rushed to the boardroom set up and ready to go. The service I received from all of the hotel staff, but these two in particular, was excellent. I guess this is why I am an IHG Club Member. Thanks to everyone involved for making this happen on very short notice.

We were in toronto for 3 days 2 nights and were able to price-line the fare to about $55 for a double room (every night). BE WARE — FARE DOES NOT INCLUDE ANYTHING! Not even a simple local phone call! I did like the fact that one of the window opens and you can control the fan (speed and on/off) in the room. The bathroom comes on with a mandatory light and loud fan, which is very very annoying. There was NO fridge. We never found the elevator. The concierge at the desk was DARN RIGHT RUDE! We asked for city maps on two separate occasions — on both he told us there were NO maps. In fact, there was a room in the back FULL of maps — did they have to pay for those? There was no breakfast, and the pool was FREEZING and small; no one ever swam in it from our parties. This place is at best a 2 star in my opinion.

Mostly all pros but one really big concern. My wife walked out the back door to the back outdoor patio and got locked out. It was — 8° Celsius and there was no way out of the back area. When I sought help the manager gave us a lot of attitude and was completely unprofessional. The big concern was if I had not known she was back there this could have been a serious almost life threatening issue sense no one could see her unless they were in the pool area, especially if a senior or child accidentally wondered out there. Everyone except the manager was exceptional. This happened this today 12/30 at 6:45AM. Very sad because this was an exceptional experience. I used the shuttle system and didn't pay for breakfast so I didn't experience some of the same issues other's had.
