It has everything you need, bathtubs and showers necessarily. Swimming pool Jacuzzi one of the Jacuzzis at the top it has wonderful look out to Toronto. Good breakfast in the morning for good price staff are very friendly and nice.

Fantastic Hotel with a first class experience starting as soon as the taxi pulled up outside. We stayed in September and had been travelling all day, 2 flights to get from the Isle of Man in the UK and it was a delight to turn up to be met by welcoming staff. Whole experience from start to finish was exceptional. Travelled with our daughter who has disabilities so this hotel can be highly recommended for being in a great location for visiting all the attractions and for eating out. The taxis pull up right outside and plenty of concierge awaiting to assist. So quiet there that besides going down for breakfast you would't know anyone else was staying there. We enjoyed our stay so much we have booked again for September this year and can't wait.

I am a Ryerson University student, living at the new residence building, HOEM, on Jarvis Street across from the hotel. On Sunday morning, my friend and I were on our way to my grandmother's apartment and were waiting for our Uber outside of our building. We know that there is construction and always wait outside of the building to get inside the vehicle as quickly as possible to not cause any trouble. While we were waiting, we noticed our Uber was parkedin front of your hotel. We quickly ran across the street where one of your door men was standing by our car. He quickly began with a lecture about how he personally has had to deal with "over 100 cars" in the time that the residence building was open. He continued to talk down to us and use an extremely rude tone. I personally, do not use uber. As I live in Toronto, I bus everywhere but my grandmother insisted for us to take it that morning. When the man finished speaking, I nicely replied that we did not intend to create such a problem, we don't chose where the uber stops his car and that we were sorry. Your door man immediately started yelling at us and turned to my friend and called me "entitled" and then stormed away. I was in complete disbelief as all I attempted to do was explain that we did not choose for the Uber vehicle to go there and that we did not mean for this to happen. The man was incredibly rude and I am absolutely disgusted with how he spoke to me.

The grand hotel is by far the best hotel in Toronto. The hospitality is 5 star as are the rooms and food. If taking your family or just going for business it's the place to be.

Fantastic hotel in downtown Toronto. All the staff were courteous and friendly. Nespresso machines in the rooms were awesome. The breakfast service is definitely what separates this hotel from others. Sit down breakfast with lots of options and great coffee.

Beautiful hotel. Rooms, roof top jacuzzi and pool are all fantastic. Restaurant food is top notch. Breakfast is included and is more than just the regular continental that you get everywhere else. Highly recommend!

Really liked the suite we had. Tons of room & the beds were great. Got a great nights sleep after the concert. Also love the view from the roof top where there are 2 hot tubs. They looked like they had some dirt in them possibly from contstruction next door but otherwise lovely. Very nice indoor pool & adequate fitness room. Don't even consider trying to park in the underground parking if you drive a pickup truck or larger. Lost the running board off of ours when it was torn off going around ramps by the high curb at the bottom. The room we had didn't really have any views other than the construction next door. Nice breakfast included in the price of the room. Staff very nice & helpful.

The hotels breakfast staff need a good cheering up. So unfriendly in the morning. One chap threw my tea vag into my dirty stained cup. The second day wasn’t much better. The staff seem to be scared to have a chat or enjoy their work. Reception was a little sour as well. The only nice staff we encountered was Alex, the afternoon/doorman. Extremely helpful in getting a car for our party of six, suggested great restaurants and was glad to see us return each night as he asked how our meal was and a goodnight. Maybe he should be spreading a little great customer service to the breakfast staff. Thanks Alex. You made the stay enjoyable.

My family has been in this hotel several times. We are always satisfied with the service we are provided. The facilities like pool, fitness, Jacuzzi and the night view from the top floor is worthwhile. Whoever is looking for a hotel in Toronto, I highly recommend this hotel.

Inside is much better than outside. Terrace on the top floor especially beautiful for the panorama. Too bad the hotel is located near a hangout of bums and stragglers that in Toronto are several.

Check in was good. There was a trainee so it took longer than usual, but that is understandable. Hotel service was great. They called a few minutes after settling in to our room. They brought some toiletries very promptly. Room was very clean. The only downside was the pillow are too big and firm. Also newer televisions are needed. The one in the room is very small and blurry. The included breakfast was good, lots of fresh options. The service, however, was lacking. I had recieved a voucher for a free drink and was advised to go and wait in the bar to redeem it. There was no one in the bar for a long time and after ordering the drink took a while to come.

The Grand is awesome. It has a real rooftop patio and hot tub. It also includes a video dance party that is good to watch but not listen to. The sound system is suffering. The hot tubs are very hot considering that we went when it was around minus 15 and extremely windy. I didn't want to leave. The room was nice with a unique layout. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was different because it's 'all you can eat', but you can't take it to your room. Overall, it's a very good experience.

This was our second time staying. The hotel is beautiful. Rooms were really clean. We used the roof top hot tub on a snowy night. Beautiful pool. Great morning breakfast that was included with hot items to choose from. Very helpful staff. Parking was a little scary. Almost scraped our car turning onto the downward ramp in the underground because it was so cramped. Was disappointed when we got in our room that we received a queen size and not a king size. Would stay again.

Fantastic hotel! My husband and I stayed at The Grand Hotel & Suites for 4 nights in March 2018. It's in such a good location. Only a 5 minutes walk from the Eaton Centre and about a 25 minute walk from the CN Tower, Aquarium and baseball stadium. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help find my husband's hat which he'd left at breakfast one morning and not realised until 2 days later! The breakfast was fab. There was a bit of everything… bacon, eggs, french toast, porridge, cereal, fruit, toast, jams, etc. The pool and hot tubs were great… very clean. The hot tubs were a welcome retreat from the cold weather and the view from the roof top hot tubs was amazing. I would definitely stay again! :)

Stayed here several times. The employees are great. All of them. The hotel is very clean and has some higher end finishes. It's a nice place to stay. A bit of a walk to the heart of downtown, but not unreasonable.

The dorms for 3 adults come with a pretty uncomfortable bed chair. The double beds have a bedside table and a one-sided nightstand. I expected more for the price.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Not very good the night area and the breakfast does not vary is always the same.

Very nice place to host an event. We had a bridal shower with 30 people in a two storey two bedroom suite and it was wonderful. Perfect amount of space.

Definately top notch. From our arrival to departure, we had no issues. Staff was great, room was immaculate and the saunas, pool and hot tubs on the roof were amazing. The breakfast was huge as well. We will be back again. Don't bypass this place. You'll be sorry.

A short night after a missed connecting flight brought still restful sleep on the 16 floor and an excellent breakfast.

Had a great weekend away with friends. Hotel is just wonderful with very comfortable beds, a great pool, and nice hot tub on the roof (even in cold, snowy weather). Location of hotel is great being an easy walk to downtown and lots of great restaurants in the area. Breakfast is one of the best I've ever had at a hotel, and is one of the reasons we come back every year.

Every time we're in Toronto we like to spend our final night at The Grand. The rooftop patio and hot tubs are our favourite part. If you go in the winter, make sure you bring a toque! They typically play music videos on the projection screen but unfortunately this was not working during our last visit. This was completely understandable as it had something to do with the extreme cold temperatures we experienced in January. If you go, you must try the restaurant! Great innovative food and amazing cocktails. The restaurant manager and bartender treated us like family as we waited for our room to be ready. The rooms are kept very clean and the beds are perfection! Can't wait for our next visit.

Checked in at 5 pm and still had to wait 2 hours before my room was ready even though I booked it a couple months in advance. The room itself is really nice with comfortable beds and a nice view. Location is in walking distance to St. Lawrence Market, Eaton Center and subway station but still feels private. Ordered room service (just one pitcher of water) and waited 45 minutes. The two hot tubs on the roof are still open during the winter but they dont clear the snow so be prepared to walk through the snow. Also the lounge chairs were covered in snow too. Many quirks but in the end its quiet, comfortable and the food in the lobby restaurant is amazing!

Perfect place to stay for vacation! The jacuzzi was fantastic and the pool was of a good size. The breakfast had a lot of variety and was fresh. Our king suite was a very good sized room and had a comfortable bedding. The kitchenette was useful and the 2 televisions were well placed. The Wi-Fi speed can be improved and there televisions were dated. Overall the service was top notch and the location was pretty good as well.

The hotel was clean but dated. We anticipated the hotel being closer to the Eaton Centre; however, it was a pretty decent walk of about 20 minutes. The check-in process was troublesome. We arrived at 4:30 for our 3:00 check in time, and we were told that our room wasn't ready. We were asked to wait 15 minutes for the cleaning crew to get it cleaned. The roof top hot tubs were a great feature and the pool was very nice, though not as big as portrayed in the pictures. The breakfast buffet was very good and had a wonderful selection, though be sure to give yourself plenty of time because there can be a lengthy wait. Overall, the room was clean and comfortable, but it was not as luxurious as the pictures or the price would have led us to be.

Nice hotel. Rooms were a good size and layout. Communal areas are very chic. Great pool and Jacuzzis with a view. Breakfast was nice but a bit repetitive. Trip to Niagara booked through hotel wasn't great.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Complementary breakfast buffet was wonderful and the junior suite was perfect for three people. Although you can still walk to the main attractions in Toronto, the location is a little far and off the beaten path.

Stayed for two weeks during business meetings and found the hotel to be exceptional. The facilities were stellar and the food was incredible. What put this all together were the friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating staff. It had a home like feel while in a luxury hotel. I would most definitely stay at The Grand again and would even consider hosting future events at this hotel!

Beautiful hotel, convenient location. We stayed for 2 nights in a junior suite. The room was beautiful and the view was great as well. We were within walking distance of the mall as well as the Aquarium and CN Tower, so we never had to pay for public transportation. We took use of the valet parking which was a bit expensive for the weekend, but worth the convenience of not having to find alternate parking arrangements. The indoor pool was nice, although the Jacuzzi was not working during our stay. The outdoor patio was beautiful and I imagine it would be a great place to relax during the summer. It was a bit too chilly while we were there to enjoy the outdoor hot tubs. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast in the morning had a nice selection for a free continental breakfast. I highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic service, friendly staff. Location is a couple of blocks from downton. Area seems a little rough, hotel feels very safe though. Nice to within walking distance of main tourist sites. Restaurant is very good, great food and drink, even made me a cocktail they hadn't made before. Would stay again.

Holy cow this place rocks. The pool is a proper pool that has a nice deep end. The hot tubs on the roof are worth another visit. The unique architecture and wonderful staff made me wish I could stay longer.

Both Jennifer's at the front desk were amazing. Stuck in Toronto, no room, and they came to the rescue. Both were patient and kind. Went above the 'sorry we can't help'. Kudos to them. I got a room and a smile.

We stayed there for the Tiff weekend and we really appreciate our stay. Faboulous view from the top terasse, clean room, very friendly and polite staff, increadible breakfast buffet and awesome pool setup. You can't be disapointed, I recommend!

Really nice clean and beautifully designed place. Complementary breakfast was great, rooftop hot tub was absolutely amazing, and rooms were both clean and spacious. All around great place, just slightly pricey.

Our junior suite on the 2nd floor was outstanding. With a balcony with chairs and a table we were easily able to enjoy morning coffee or a late night dinner. Beautiful facilities that were spacious and complete. While parking is additional it's reasonable for downtown Toronto. Hurry before the soon to be built condo cuts off some of the magnificent views from the rooftop terrace that include hot tubs. The included breakfast buffet is kept stocked with both hot and cold foods and servers often keep your coffee filled.

Excellent level of service. Staff are very accommodating. The hotel facilities are posh, and remarkably clean everywhere you look. There is a large park with a gorgeous public indoor greenhouse not too far away and the hotel is fairly centrally located to get anywhere in the city.

Good Hotel. The breakfast is delicious, specially the Home Fries. They sell Ice Cream and Sweeties for a good price! Honest and efficient staff. They also have a shuttle!

Staff goes above and beyond to be friendly at all times and really makes you feel welcome. The place is really well maintained and has tons of amenities. Breakfast isn't amazing, but it's definitely decent, with plenty of options from cereal to fruit, to eggs, sausage, bacon, coffee, juices and more. The rooms are decent sized, well kept and even have microwaves. There is a indoor pool with sauna and spas, and a beautiful rooftop area with great views and 2 additional outdoor hot tubs. Very glad I picked Grand Hotel and Suites to stay while visiting Toronto!

I spent the night before, and the night of my wedding at the Grand Hotel and Suites. I worked with Tara, the Event Manager, in the months leading up to my stay and she was phenomenal to deal with in my long list of "wants" for a hotel room since myself and my bridal party were getting ready there the morning of my wedding. She made sure I got an AMAZING room with a tonne of natural light and floor to ceiling windows so that my pictures would turn out great. She also arranged for a complimentary bottle of champagne delivered to the room. The hotel is beautiful, continental breakfast was unreal and staff were so pleasant. What an amazing experience! Easy to get to, right in the city center, very clean, pretty, restful. Indoor parking, swimming pool, training room. I liked it.

Would have given 4 stars but absence of working Wi-Fi on 10th floor (0, 9mb to none) is quite disappointing for a hotel of this caliber. Staff, young but genuinely helpful. Rooms are nice. TV signal so so but overall, satisfied.

Hotel was great. Inside looked luxurious but the elevators are so slow. One elevator doesn't even open on the 16th floor. Security watches the camera pretty hard. We got tols we had 6 people and had to kick out 2 people. Other the that room was clean. We had two monitors in that room so that was cool. The rooms aren't that noise proof. Overall it was a great stay.

The hotel is situated in a residential neighborhood that's within easy walking distance of Eaton Centre and the rest of downtown Toronto. The staff is excellent and the hotel is well maintained. You can tell everything isn't brand new but they take good care of it and it has a lot of character. The rooms, which I stayed in a junior suite, are very nicely appointed with premium finish work and recessed lighting. The rooftop deck is a real gem and has excellent views of the skyline. In my opinion this hotel is in a tough spot. It's a premium hotel that's not a super chain like Four Seasons. There are some quirks that I have no problem with that people who are used to staying at high end chains will complain about, but then again they'd probably complain at a Ritz Carlton that the pillow cases were a slightly different thread count than then bed sheets and expect the staff to kill themselves over it. If you are visiting Toronto you should stay at Grand Hotel and Suites.

Staying here for 5 nights while visiting Toronto. We've got a junior suite (14th floor) with a city view. I rate this hotel very highly. Everything has been exceptional. Read some reviews before I came that mentioned rude staff members — I have not encountered this at all. Everyone here has been friendly and helpful from the moment we pulled up at the front entrance. I also read some complaints about the complimentary breakfast — no idea what there could be to complain about. They have lots of variety and all the food is very fresh. The room itself is beautifully appointed and you can tell there is a lot of attention to detail. The decor and lighting throughout the hotel is exquisite. Pool area is very nice and the rooftop hot tubs/deck offer an amazing way to take in the Toronto skyline. The location is great in that you can easily walk to many points of interest or get inexpensive Uber rides to/from these places. If you think the surrounding neighborhood is bad then you probably don't have much experience in urban city centers. Sure you might see some riff raff down a couple of the streets but we've felt completely safe walking around.

The location of this hotel is a 5 minute walk to dundas square. The hotel is nice & clean. The room was nice and spacious. The bathroom was ok but a little dated. It could use an update. I don't like the lock situation in the bathroom, it basically doesn't lock. While the room had 2 mirrors it would've been nice to have a full length mirror to see yourself before going out. I did like the sitting area in the room. And it was nice that it had a window that opened to get fresh air.

This was an excellent place to stay for our trip to Toronto. Room was very well kept and clean. Pool and hot tubs were well maintained. Free breakfast was better than most free breakfasts at chain hotels. Would definitely stay here again.

Booked our stay off of reviews throughout the web. We're still here and all I can say is that we love it! The hot tub on the roof is a wonderful touch. Our room has a wonderful view of Toronto as well (17th floor). Price was affordable for what's included. The restaurant attached (Citrus) serves fantastic breakfast (included in the stay) and their dinner menu was also tasty (stuck with pizza and steak). Overall, if and when I'm back in Toronto, I will be booking a room here.

I am currently at my stay at The Grand Hotel in Toronto and I had to take a second to write this review. The Grand is amazing! The room, the staff, the facilities, all incredible. It is extremely pet friendly and wonderful! Will definitely be coming back!

Nice room, good breakfast, good proce. Very tight underground parking. It was a bit rowdy being St. Patrick's Day. Would stay again.

The accommodations are beautiful. Complimentary breakfast was delicious. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The rooftop hot tubs were the highlight of our night during our stay. I was surprised to find them open in february. Parking was a great value. The hotel was located close to casa loma castle and a free park conservatory which made it easy to go have fun and then come back and relax.

I love the rooms at this place. They are spacious and well appointed. I was here for business meetings and the staff were excellent in their accommodation of the group's needs.

Wonderful stay. The rooms are spacious and feature hardwood throughout. Service was great. Breakfast buffet was delicious. If I were to nitpick I would say the technology in the rooms needs an update. Still I had a very pleasant experience.

Stayed here multiple times. LOVE this place! Everyone who works there tries to make your stay better. The rooftop hot tubs are romantic and not as busy as you would think and the pool is beautiful. Will definitely be returning soon.

I have stayed here twice and it has been a great experience both times. Rooms are large, and the two rooftop hot tubs and complimentary breakfast are great perks. The Grand is a great bad for exploring Toronto.

It's what I would call a 4 star hotel with easy access by walking to many venues in the city. It's pricey, but the rooms are comfortable and well equipped for the most part. The service seems to be top notch whenever we needed something.

Staff — 10 star Location — 8 star Rooms — 6 star Breakfast — 3 star Cons — quite noisy at night. Breakfast is okay if your American and eat junk Pros — nice people and good location free Wi-Fi! Random — there is a TV on the wall as you walk in that will only face the door the only way to watch it is if you stand outside your door. Nothing was played on the way in so no idea what it's for.

We stayed at the grand for ten days and could not praise it enough, spotlessly clean, fantastic staff, in particular the doormen who could not be more helpful, all the staff were a credit to the the company and to Canada itself, I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to any one wishing to visit Toronto, regards, PJ Woods.

Honestly the pools and the roof top tub is sweet. But ya gotta be careful, I was chilling up there with my girlfriend for my birthday (ive been here a few times before as well) and there was other couples and young kids there too, things like that aren't the hotels fault but it's their problem, kids up in the hot tub for 11-12 at night is ridiculous! Not because I don't like kids but the conversations that the other people are having are not at ALL for the young ones to hear! But parents these days are kind of messed up. At least those ones were. There was a couple other things,. 1 thing im curious about is whether or not they have cameras up there. Reason being; is because we could over hear a couple discussing their day and how they had committed an act of adultery right on the roof top were everyone's hanging out. Now I didn't see or hear them actually do it, but never the less I was completely grossed out and embarrassed because I felt like a brought my gf to some ritzy place full of slobs. The Price — a joke but I still paid it for that damn roof top patio Parking — reaches maximum capacity and they have nothing to inform you of that until u drive around the underground parking area a few times only to have to get back out on the street (as their backed on to a one way) and than loop back around to their upper outdoor parking lot and take up one of their reserved valet spots.

Those who are planning to have a social weekend with friends. No visitors allowed past 11pm. The hotel is very strict and no visitors allowed past curfew — so juvenile. Security will be knocking on your door and do a head count and escort the extra guests out! Ridiculous! I must stress that we were finishing the late night chinese food at the hotel that we couldn't finish at the restaurant. If you don't want the hassle, don't book here. I won't! What is your input about this hotel's policy of doing random head count in the middle of the night and coercing your visitors out.

The first thing you can see OMG thd the best grand hotel is my favorite I love love it my 2 time. It was a great time to do with lisa and syd shawney me and brother it was awesome best day of my life.

Great rooms, services and overall an enjoyable stay. one of the few hotels that offer breakfast with the rooms and the breakfast is very good. the amenities are good, the gym is very basic and needs some equipment upgrade but it will do the job. The pool is good as well with your choice of roof outdoor Hottub with views or inside pool hottub. Overall very recommended.

Comfortable rooms, conveniently located near the downtown core. The breakfast buffet offers a wide range of options, the dining options at the restaurants are fantastic. The outdoors jacuzzi on the roof has a great view and you can lounge back and relax while watching the projection on the wall. Gym and pool do close at 11pm and there isn't much around in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.

I consistently have 5 Star service and experience at the Grand H&S. All the staff are engaging, rooms (love the wood floors! ) well kept and facilities are well maintained. I especially want to do a shout-out to the Front Desk staff who not only do their respective roles, but go beyond that to ensure I, and others have a pleasant and trouble free stay. This IS my HOTEL of CHOICE in Toronto and I stay here at least every 2 weeks while in town for business, but more importantly, this is where my wife and I stay while in town for concerts and plays (both in September and October of this and last year). A hardy Thumbs Up and I will be there again next week for both work and pleasure! Trev.

The Grand Hotel Toronto is perfect for the visit up North. We usually stick to major SPG hotel chains but we needed a place near city center that offered free Wi-Fi so I didn't have to use roaming data on the phone. The hotel is situated about three blocks away from Eaton Center, the Time Square of Toronto. The area near the hotel is still slowly being gentrified and the skid row characters still remain and clearly visible from the morning visits to the Tim Horton's on the corner. What more than make up for the surrounding area is the service provided by the great staff at the hotel and the ample amenities available at the hotel. We arrived early at the hotel and wanted to check in early. Unfortunately, there weren't any room available. The front desk staff — Karen took note of our needs and later searched for us in the lobby to let us know a room opened up early. Her attention to detail and great recommendations to restaurants in the area made this a five star experience. We received similar excellent service at the Citrus — the hotel restaurant that provided the free breakfast every morning. The breakfast was decent but nothing over the top but the staff made sure everything was always in order and never far away when we needed anything — coffee, utensils, etc. The room itself was elegantly designed with a small separation between the bed area and the living room space by the entrance.

The Grand Hotel surpassed all of my expectations. After being displaced from my condo due to water damage I stayed at the Grand Hotel for close to 4 weeks with my 6 month old daughter. The staff at the Grand made our stay so welcoming and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was a nice treat and offered great variety. Everyone greeted us with smiles and were very helpful with my little one. I loved that our suite had wood flooring as it is much cleaner than other hotels traditional dingy carpet. The hotel was very prompt with any of our requests such as fixing a burnt out light bulb or delivering a crib. I would recommend the Grand Hotel to anyone looking for a short or extended stay in Toronto.
