We stay in the king/2 queen adjoining rooms, they are so spacious for the kids to play. We’ve stayed now 3 different times.

The stay was wonderful! Ben, one of the front desk crew sent chilled wine and a sweet card for our anniversary! Above and beyond!
The location was so fun!

I recommend this hotel in the center of Toronto🙏

Great location, we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is clean and the rooms spacious. The service is to be reviewed. You have to ask several times to have a coffee machine. We were missing sheets and blankets for the sofa-lut and we only had 2 towels but there were 4 of us. So we had to run after everything. Parking is not accessible for large vehicles and has no accessibility by elevator. It's a bit difficult for luggage. Usually there is the valet service. Since COVID is restricting valet service, I believe the price of parking should be down.
For the rest, it is a very nice hotel and the beds are comfortable.

Extremely sanitized environment, and friendly staff, made a stressful stay in the middle of a COVID lockdown less stressful. Walking distance to hospital, which allows you to save money and time with parking. Definitely would stay here again.

We stayed here while my son was at Sick Kids. The staff was very accommodating, and they were able to help us with later check outs and flexibility. Very pleased, made a stressful situation a lot easier.

Excellent service, warm welcome from the receptionists, housekeeping are very friendly and accommodating. In times of problems just a minute call and problem is resolved.

This hotel has multiple problems that belie the Courtyard name. With multiple clackity elevators (one of which has now been shut down without any posted notice), room ceilings that are pealing away, disinterested valet staff, lack of on-site self-parking, emergency water shut-offs, and rude room cleaning staff, this place is in need of serious overhaul from multiple vectors. These issues we're not reported to hotel staff due to the several reasons, but this review wouldn't have changed much if they were reported directly to management. I did have good experiences with the Bistro and main desk. This location also appears to be well-cleaned in the common areas. That's why it's two stars and not less.

Stayed here a few times recently while in the city for work. All the staff I interacted with were very polite, friendly and helpful. The rooms themselves were fine and were quite spacious compared to other similar hotels in the area. One of my rooms was a bit noisy but it was mostly due to construction on the street it was overlooking. Overall was happy with my experience here.

The Marriott Courtyard is located within close walking distance of the Eaton Centre and only 30 minutes walk from Union Station (or a ~5 minute subway trip that's only 4 stops away). I had a "newly renovated 2 queen beds" room in the south building on the 7th floor (701). The rooms were very spacious, with width wise (as you first step into the room) and also length wise — able to fit 2 queen beds and a sofa with generous space between each piece of furniture. There were generous amounts of lighting in the room, and also plugs (such as to charge your phone) on the desk lamp and the nightstand. They give you 2 complimentary water bottles in the room, which is especially nice for the hot summer days. The bathroom consists of only a toilet and bathtub. The sink is separated further in the room near the closet. This is an excellent design, in my opinion, as one person can use the washroom while the sink is still available for someone else. Additionally, it won't be too hot (as would be the case if the sink was in an enclosed bathroom) I found the mattresses to be nice, but somewhat poor for back support. When I put a pillow under my lower back, it was much better. One key thing to note — on about 6 of the 7 pillows that I brought close to my face, there was a slight sour smell, so I STRONGLY recommend that you at least bring your own pillowcases.

Courtyard Marriott General Manager, Yesterday, as we returned to your Courtyard Marriott Downtown Toronto on 475 Yonge St at approximately 4 AM, we witnessed the on duty manager Mr. Waqar conducting himself in a unprofessional and rude manner with three women in the hotel lobby. Mr. Waqar was raising his voice with these women and speaking in an aggressive and demeaning manner. As a guest in the hotel I was very displeased to see a Courtyard Marriott Staff member conducting himself in such a way and was even more disappointed to later learn that he was actually the on-duty manager. As a concerned guest, I asked the women if they were ok and the Manager responded to that action by telling us that he was going to evict us. Then he ordered the hotel security and police to follow us to our rooms. Two Police Officers, the hotel Head of Security and other security guards confronted us as we were standing outside of our room (Room 741). The Head of Security demanded that we pack our luggage and vacate the premises based on the request of the the on duty manager Mr. Waqar. As a result of the manager's false accusation and harassment we were at risk of being arrested, as US citizens, in Canada, which was a very scary situation for us. Fortunately, two security guards that witnessed the entire event in the lobby spoke on our behalf.

The hotel staff was excellent. Anytime I needed anything during my stay they were always helpful. The room I stayed in was spacious, nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Was there for a work event, the hotel catered the whole event. From breakfast to dinner, including dessert and snack breaks, everything was made fresh and tasted great. Would recommend this hotel.

You get what you pay for. The hotel is very good, the A/C quite silent, the staff helpful and nice. I had a restful night and was able to go about my day rested and happy. It feels good to have a good hotel stay that does not break the bank considering it's a big chain. I do recommend.

Amazing service, fantastic location! Great place if you're checking out Toronto for the first time. I give it 4 stars because when I was taking a shower, it was extremely cold. They fixed it and got maintenance to fix it. Nevertheless, it was a nice stay.

The room was very good, a bit small but sufficient for what we needed. The bed was comfortable, room temperature was great. Had a wonderful meal in the dining room but the most excellent part was our waitress whom I would give her 10 stars.

The room rate was perfect for our last minute decision to stay downtown. The location is in the heart of younge street which made shopping and grabbing food easy and the hotel itself though busy with conventioneers was well kept and respectable. I would definitely go back there.

I found that the parking valet attendants were very pushy and aggressive. I didn't enjoy that especially when you aren't sure about other options for parking and what is included on your reservation (reservation for me was booked by someone else). Not a very welcoming encounter for my first time at this hotel. Very grand appearance of the lobby. King bedroom had lots of space, clean, modern. Internet easy to access. I was placed across the elevators which you could hear pretty often. That also means you can hear a lot of people talking coming in and out of the elevator. Completely understand that comes with the room, however, I didn't enjoy hearing the cleaning staff's morning social conversations at 730am.

Location is stellar for this hotel. It's about a one minute walk from the subway so very easy to get to. Very quick and easy check-in process and they'll talk to you about your room to make sure it's going to meet your needs. Room was on the 9th floor, clean and had a great view (faced Yonge Street). You do hear a bit more traffic because of it, but it wasn't too bad. Their in-room coffee is also quite good.

Downtown Toronto on the most central and long street of the city. There is a paid parking. The rooms already require renovation. Breakfast is not pleasant, formally it is a café inside the hotel, where you order a finished dish in the assortment, and there is no buffet. The price in my opinion does not match the quality.

I have never loved a hotel neighborhood as much as I've loved this one. What a fun area to stay in! Tons of shops and food around, all within walking distance. The hotel itself is nice. The lobby areas are nice, there's a bar and food downstairs (their broccoli cheddar soup was impressive) and other amenities I did not use but looked high quality.

The fact that the Hotel is closed to everything, the rate is fair, the room is clean and big (2 Queen size) and staff are very friendly. The only thing I do not like is the room were we are is closed to the elevator, you can hear the sound of the elevator going up and down (Rm. 342) I hope you just used these rooms as a stock room or do something with the elevator to be more quite especially in the evening were you are in bed, but so far I love the place and will recommend it to anybody.

Comfortable room with the usual swimming pool, sober and for any occasion, not far from the center and you can make great walks in the surroundings.

We really enjoyed our 1 night stay at Courtyard by Marriott. The hospitality was excellent. Every staff member we encountered was pleasant, helpful & courteous. The location is very convenient. It was affordable & clean. It's an old building so of course it has some imperfections but it's clean, smells clean and we felt safe. We'll stay there again for sure!

Chek in was fast and easy, room was clean and reasonable. Bistro staff were friendly and helpful. Food that I had was good. The only improvement I could see would be to add prices to menu for room service menu. Location was bery convenient, didnt have time to visit pool.

LGBTQ friendly hotel located just outside the Church and Wellesley village. Close to trasit stations and great restraunts. Friendly staff, modern hotel with tasteful decor, quiet and relaxing.

Rooms are modern with "IKEA" look. 24 hour fitness center was convenient and well equipped including free weights. Laundry facilities are complementary. Parking in the entire Toronto area is at a premium so the fee of $35 for overnight is typical. Room did not have a microwave but did have a refrigerator. The pool is well maintained. This would definitely stay there again.

Not a good option at all. Low class maintenance. Although they claim that they fully renovated, but their are rooms are not well maintained. Lot of scratch on the appliances. I stayed at least for more than 10 days for business trip. I found most of the rooms have bad smell like cigarette. Once the toilet was overflowed… Horrible experience, but no sincere apologize. Although they gave me 500 Marriott points, but the behavior is always important to me. Their A/C is very old. So you can't set temperature according to your convenience. One good thing is, their rooms are spacious enough. I have been stayed in many hotels in toronto. I would say it one of the bad one.

The hotel is within walking distance of many restaurants, bars, and attractions, and only a short cab/uber drive away from most others The room was clean, and surprisingly large. The view, however, wasn't anything special. For the price point, I doubt you could find anything better.

I stayed at this hotel for a Friday evening in May and was pleased by my experience. The front desk staff was friendly and beyond efficient. My room (631) looked to have been recently-renovated and was quite spacious (though didn't have much of a view). If you're looking for the standard Marriott experience, definitely stay here.

Our room was nice! Free Wi-Fi was a plus. Parking across the street down the way was a bit odd, and a pain when we left because we had purchased so many items while in Toronto… but we'd stay here again.

This hotel has fine through some significant renovations. The rooms are all renovated and very nice. The rooms are large as well. The staff are also very friendly.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Valet parking was fast and the rooms were quiet. Most things seemed clean but there were a few exceptions. The towels in the pool room, I picked up 2 that had various marks on them. The spa had foam floating around in it and it was dirty looking. The tub in our room had bits of dried soap in it that obviously weren't cleaned from the previous guest. The elevators were very slow, it woukd take several minutes for one to come to the floor were on. Our stay was pleasant but I'm not sure I would choose this Marriott to stay at again.

The hotel is well located. They are currently under renovation which is causing some noise and disruptions. My room was very nice and didn't have any major issues. I just wish the construction worker would use the service elevator only. There were times that all elevators were used by them which was not convenient for people waiting to get to their rooms.

Was told on the phone there was parking included with my stay and there was none on site, unless I wanted to pay $35 for valet parking. I had to park at a nearby apartment building and pay for $10 for 12 hours, luckily the security was nice at the apartments and extended my ticket a few hours so I didn't have to pay an additional $10. Bathroom had cracked sink and our room had extremely outdated furniture and a disgusting chair in our room. I again, was told over the phone it was within walking distance to the CN Tower and Rogers centre. It was nowhere close. (I am not from anywhere close and was my first time staying in Toronto) pool and spa were gross and yellow. The only one thing I can saythat was good was the staff.

Overall it got the job done. However, until renovations are done it was not great. Rooms are old. Bathroom ceiling was cracked and peeling. Curtains were a little mouldy. Room next door had people smoking a lot of pot and ended up being escorted out. Great location and rooms were big. Bed was clean. Still a lot of room for improvement.

Lovely hotel. Renovated rooms are spacious and well appointed. Very friendly and efficient staff. Conference food was fabulous!

The renovations done to the hotel were very nice, but the way the staff handles situations beyond their control is the real reason I was impressed with this hotel. There was an altercation outside of our room around 2am. The staff did what they could to get the individuals to be considerate of their volume. But when this was ignored the authorities were called. An employee stayed in the hallway throughout the entire episode (over an hour) and was able to answer questions to anyone who awoke and popped their head out. We were provided with a room on the floor above so we could get some sleep (considering this was happening just across the hall from us). I am not one to write reviews but I was very impressed with this whole situation, especially since I never once opened the door or complained, they were just aware of all their guests not just the ones vocalizing their problems.

My husband and I visited Toronto for our 5 year Anniversary and absolutely enjoyed staying at this hotel! The room was very clean and comfortable. Large windows for city views, separate vanity for me to do my make up and ceiling to floor mirror closets! We parked at the parking lot right outside the hotel and we were able to monitor our car. We were right in the heart of Toronto and minutes away from Chinatown and major shopping! The hotel staff was wonderful and helpful throughout our stay. Parking is not cheap, they charge $35/overnight, we parked next to the hotel that charges $10 every 12 hours. When we visit Toronto again we will definitely stay here again!

I stayed per recommendation of a friend that had stayed previously. The rooms were well furnished and the included breakfast meal was delicious. Room service didn't resupply the necessary towels our group needed but the room was very comfortable overall.

Terrible stay right from when we pulled up in our car and there wasn't anyone to help us with our bags. They didn't have bell boys to help out, and no trolleys (what hotel doesn't have any trolleys). There weren't enough people to help with check-in either. The room was a strange shape and despite there being a long wide hallway, the bathroom sink and front closet were crammed together and the door to the shower and toilet opened outward knocking into the sink area as well. The decor was trashy and dated and the walls were paper thin. We had several rowdy people around us and had a terrible night sleep. We finally called the front desk at 3am to send someone up and after 45 minutes they did send up security. We were in the north tower and will not be staying there again.

Already somewhat older, but clean! The staff in all areas. Is centrally located and is recommended.

The hotel is very nice and the rooms are very spacious. The staff are very friendly and professional. The location is great. What more do you want.
