I would like to comment on my experience at this hotel, since the arrival they made us wait at the reception, they tried to charge us 2 times the total payment, and until today they have not taken responsibility, even on the contrary they have tried to steal more money, it is a shame that I have people so useless and with little moral working in that hotel, we are going to make a criminal complaint to booking and bond place hotel, since so far they do not give a solution and do not answer the phones, I do not recommend it at all.

Nothing realy rooms are ok, the check in staff there customers service attitude needs to be worked on, customer care none existing it's if they dont wont to be there.

Convenient location for St. Michael's hospital appointment and great hospital rate.

Stayed at the Bond Place Hotel for the first time last week and will definitely be coming back. The rooms are super nice and the staff are incredibly friendly and understanding.

They stole my jewelry that was left there by accident. Told me they threw it out as I didn't pick it up in time. They are thefts The necklace was worth $400.00. Give me a break you through it out.

I just spent 3 nights there. I found the place to have good service from the staff, the place was immaculate. The rooms as well, minimalist but very clean with all the amenities. It's close to everything one would need. I would stay there again.

Enjoyed the location of the hotel. Close to places where you can go grab food. Room was very nice and clean and the AC worked very well. It kept the room nice and cool the way I love it :) Great Place.

As soon as I checked in with a friend, everyone was extremely rude. The guy cleaning out the garage was rude. The girl who came up to our room to give us hand soap had an attitude and made sarcastic comments. The manager at night wouldn't even let my friend back up to our hotel room and was extremely rude.
The fire alarm went off at 4am and the night manager did nothing — no apologies as everyone had to wake up and evacuate. Then it went off once AGAIN early in the morning.
THEN I realized I forgot my top in the closet and when we called to tell them to save it, they said it wasn't there. So someone who worked there stole my clothes as soon as I left.
I have never been so disgusted with a place and the people in my life. Don't go to this hotel.

I started staying here in 2017, but have been there more frequently over the past couple of months, Paul at the front desk is amazing and incredibly helpful, the housekeeping staff on the 13th floor was absolutely wonderful as well. Its clean and comfortable and after working in hotels for 12 years, im pretty particular on where I stay. Can't wait to come back :)

Its a sad sad time when a place is so scared of its surrounding that it become inhumane… no microwave in the whole place (they get stolen “apparently”) and very little consideration good old fashion “decency” (asked 3 staff members before I could get one little coffee creamer for morning coffee… the usual answer I got before hand was… tims is down the road if you want coffee before 7am when the hotel not included breakfast restaurant opens, and usually said in a fairly rude manner) and to have to pay extra for Wi-Fi (10$ extra per night? ) … well thats just ridiculous. Nice, small clean-ish rooms, with some friendly-ish staff (pending on who is working) … honestly quite disapointed with the place in general : (

If you're looking for a fancy hotel where you'll be pampered this isn't your place. But if you're looking for an affordable option for a sojourn in Toronto, it might be. Basic but clean, friendly and efficient. Avoid rooms facing Dundas Square if possible as there's lots of light leakage into the room. The blackout blinds are not wide enough for the window and the crack is impossible to seal, even with hair clips. We tried!

Nice beds and recent renovations make it comfortable but still feels like a dorm. Good if you want to be right downtown with parking. Note: they are strict about the check in time. We showed up 20 minutes early to see a couple in front of us turned away because the 'room wasn't ready' and had the same experience at the front desk when it was our turn at the counter. Other than that, no hiccups.

First and foremost we lost our reservation that we booked online. We were not told about the underground parking untill after we had checked out. The room was decent but small was clean and had clean towels and wash clothes. Bathroom was small with one very slim mirror. If you want quite this is not the hotel for you it is right downtown next to the Eaton centre which makes it every loud at night, an bright. In my opinion it was not worth the $$$ that we spent to stay there. Bonus it close to everything and u can walk.

I have never stayed in such a clean hotel room! And I’ve stayed in many, many, many hotels! Yes they are small, but it’s Toronto. It’s bigger than what you get in NYC for the most part. Everything was organized and space maximized. The bathroom was perfectly spotless and beautiful, the decor is fresh and lovely, and no carpets that never get cleaned like in most hotel rooms! There was coffee and a mini fridge in the room. The staff was very friendly. Made me sad I was only in town for 24 hours and couldn’t stay longer! Location is amazing, 5 minute walk to Eaton centre and restaurants, and close to subway/public transportation. I couldn’t have asked for a better hotel and will absolutely stay here again!

Very nice, and clean. Great location. Easy to find. Good service… Fast, prompt and efficient. A little expensive but hey, that is to be expected in Toronto. Room had a strong smell of alcohol or perhaps varnish? But other then that we loved it. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for a few days in June 2018. The rooms were nice, clean, and well decorated (minimalist chic, it housed all the essentials with no unnecessary clutter). The only downside not enough pillows, but the beds were very comfortable. It was close to the main shopping areas and did not need to travel far for other activities.
The staff were all pleasant and helpful. I would like to highlight 2 members of the staff who truly went out of their way to assist and guide my family, Donna and Zia, you made our stay memorable and packed with fun activities.
I do hope to visit Toronto again, and I would definitely stay here again.
9/10 will recommend.

Very good location. The staff is friendly. The rooms are clean. For the price it's fine. No Wi-Fi included on the other hand.

This was amongst the most affordable rates and the location is prime, downtown Toronto near Eaton’s. You get what you pay for, don’t expect luxury. We stayed 3 nights and front desk was very kind to upgrade us to a two bedroom suite, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The room was MUCH better than the rest of the hotel. The elevator, the lobby, was a little gross and aged. I’d probably pay a little more and stay somewhere else next time.

Clean, mostly well kept, easy to book and a good location. Would be nice to have a better restaurant option and larger rooms, but honestly it’s not needed there. There are far more positives than negatives including a very comfy bed. I’d suggest asking for a room that’s not on the side facing the Eaton centre (my photos are of the view). It’s very very bright and obviously never gets less bright because the signs are on all night. Would definitely recommend!

Stayed two nights. My room was clean and seemed recently renovated (2-3 years ago? ) ; particularly the bathroom (1 year? ) … but the hallways seem a bit worn. Room was a touch small, but normal for TO. I felt it was a wee bit expensive for the level of amenities offered. Hotel is well situated, 2 min walk from Eaton center and subway… pretty central to everywhere else. Overall, a positive stay. No issues or complaints. Staff was polite, civil and effective.

Recently had my second stay at the Bond Place Hotel and I can guarantee I'll be back! The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, often going to extra mile to provide early check-in and offer assistance with luggage. The rooms are chic, modern and cozy. The location is fantastic for those who like to experience downtown Toronto. I can't recommend this spot enough!

The Bond Place hotel is a cute little hotel right in the heart of downtown Toronto. The room had a modern vibe, with lots of different lighting options, which I really appreciate. The only downside was the elevator issue, there were three elevators, one of which was out of service, and there was a period of time where a second one was unavailable, which made it pretty inconvenient for all hotel guests that wanted to move about the hotel. Waits for up 20 minutes for an elevator to arrive, and little to no signage in the stair well as to how to get to the main floor from the stairs. I found out after, that once I get to the main level I needed to go down two more flights of stairs, through doors, down a hallway, through more doors and up another flight of stairs. How would anyone know to do all of that without any signage? Other than that, great hotel.

Location is fantastic. I generally stay here when I need to be in this area. Hotel is clean. Can be kind of loud sometimes. Decor is a bit like Ikea (lots of melamine). It all seems good at first glance but then you realize how it has aged. All that said it is a reasonable hotel in a good location for an acceptable price.

Don’t even think about staying there. They will screw up your visit. I had a prepaid reservation to this hotel, my flight to Toronto was delayed and I called them to ask if the front that was open at night, they told me yes. For my surprise when I got there at 2:30 am the representative told me that the system was shutdown and that I had to wait an hour to get a room. No cordiality, no understanding, no problem solving. We had to wait two hours to get a room to sleet for only three hours once we had an appointment at 8am. Worst custom service ever! I asked if they could get me any room and he said that the only thing he could offer me was a seat. Yes, we are in 2018 and a hotel closes at night.

It's expensive for the place. The toilets do not have a real door that closes so expect you to share your poops as a couple or friends. Also the toilet has a frosted window that overlooks the bed. Super convenient to wake the other if we go to pee during the night. But otherwise it is relatively well equipped and clean. Also by looking for the name of the hotel on Google, it suggests Bedbug… good to know…

Good hotel good price, but to have free 150 dollars on the card because you charge them deposit.

I arrived in late hours unless you are able to show an itinerary, otherwise, it is a bit difficult, especially in Toronto. From my experience, you must stay at Place Bond Hotel, aside the convenience, for the main reason, where an esteemed and oriented recipient coordinator in the name of Mr. Mohab, is there to welcome you aboard. In other words, and frankly, he is in everywhere, to the extent even you feel like no other place than HOME! To show much gratitude, thank you and deeply appreciated. Having this employee is simply an asset! Hotel and room description: Above standards.

Pleasant décor and clean. The walls are thin that you could hear everything your neighbours are saying so you've been warned. I checked in at 3am and asked the concierge if they could extend the check out time and I was told they couldn't. I had to check out by 11. Friendly staff but you couldn't extend the checkout time for at least the afternoon? Thanks but no thanks. My best guess is call ahead of time and see if it's possible. I've had extended checkout times with other hotels so I really have to say I was disappointed.

Probably the cheapest hotel in downtown, with an amazing location. Less than a 5 minutes walk to the Eaton Centre. Rooms were bigger than I expected but clean and modern. Staff was okay not super helpful. It took about 20 minutes for an extra towel to be brought up to the room. $10 for Wi-Fi for 24 hours which isn’t too bad. View from our hotel room was awesome.

Staff were very helpful, polite and very nice. Hotel was very clean and very comfortable. All you have to do is ask and they are right there to to make your stay a more comfortable one. I would recommend this hotel to anyone if they want a nice comfortable stay. Close to everything.

Great location, close to Eaton centre and plenty of the PATH walkways if you’re there during winter. Rooms are a bit on the small side but as described, comfy beds and nice bathroom. Front desk are helpful and polite. Nice central location is the best part of the hotel.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and the breakfast was very good. The temperature of the window was very poor and the air conditioning had to be dispensed with because of the noise.

Clean, comfortable like Ikea made a hotel room. Laminated floors not carpet which is probably cleaner. Very reasonable, they couldn't give us the hospital rate as apparently they only have a certain number of those. I was kind of out of it and my husband couldn't find the off switch for the light under the TV until the morning but it didn't bother me. I needed extra pillows and they brought them before my husband returned from the lobby! Very efficient.

Very nice room, the employees were very nice. On the other hand, Wi-Fi super slow. The hotel is aware of the problem and should settle it. Finally the room was a little small.

Decent price, good location (near Eaton Centre, theatres). Okay rooms. Not very helpful front desk. And, this was the weirdest: we arrived just after noon, and thought we'd see if a room might be ready. Having done this at other hotels we expected either to be told we could go up, or that the room wasn't ready but that we could complete our check in and come back for keys later. Or, no, that we'd need to come back later. Instead, we were told we could check in early as a room was ready. For an "early check-in fee" of $25!

The location is excellent — within walking distance of greyhound/union Station so I highly recommend this place if you are coming into Toronto via one of these transportation methods. Being located within downtown means there are many restaurants and shopping options nearby. The rooms were small but I enjoyed the large window that let in lots of natural light. The decor was simple but clean and modern and the bathroom was clean. The checkin/out experience was fast and friendly and the price is right. I got a room with 2 twin beds for about 150 after tax. Overall good experience. I would definitely stay here again.

I have to admit I have become a person that read reviews and really take the info to heart. With that said Bond Place was much better than most of the previous review I read. Check in quick and efficient. Room warm, quite and very clean. Beds were comfortable and the coffee in the room was good. For the price I paid and the location (Downtown Toronto) I have no complaint. Traveling with an elder my main concern was we felt safe and convenious ✔ on both. The restaurant in the hotel would be the only disappointment. Too pricey, not enough food and coffee should be free refills come on it Canada its cold. Imperial right across the street is old looking but not bad food. Bond Hotel is cool if your looking to sleep, shower and keep it moving.

The Bond Place Hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to Massey Hall, and other locations. Rooms are a decent size, and generally clean. Heater/AC unit is tucked under a shelf by the window next to a bed. Nice place to stay. Paid parking available, both outdoor and underground.

The location of the hotel is perfect, really close to many attractions. The standard room was pretty small, but the bed was comfy. Hotel parking lot is located across the street and you have to ring a buzzer to be let into the parking garage, which makes it safer but a bit of a hassle. You can get a good price on a room here with a third party site and for the low price, the room is well worth it given the location.

Well located. The front desk is not very friendly. Chek in is at 15:00! I got here at 10:00.30 in November with the hotel empty, and I wanted to charge 50 cad, I opposed Yvlo conceded.

The to om was much smaller than anything I've ever had at any hotel in the past. I did get the TD rate for 169.00 a night but felt that was even too expensive for the size of room. There was enough space for the 2 single beds and nothing else. There were no face clothes and only two small towels between the 2 of us. They charged an extra 150.00 security fee which they never told be they were doing. I called about it the next day and they said I would get it back in 2 business days They neglected to tell me that when I booked the room 3 days prior, nor did they tell me when I checked in. I have stayed in many other hotels in the past and have not had them hold an extra 150.00 for 2 business days after I checked out. Not sure if this is common or not The good thing was the room was very clean.

The employees were professional, the price was good. The room was small and smelled weird. The housekeeper cleaned up everything as soon as we said something.

Hotel very decent and clean and everything… But in this century, not being able to work because the Internet is malfunctioning (as much on my phone as on my computer) is completely unacceptable! The network also was very bad in the 17th floor room that I had…

The place is great for the price. The location you can't beat. The rooms are all renovated and new. Simple, easy and basic hotel. Nothing fancy nor do they claim anything is. Parking is availabe in a safe lot underground.

The hotel is located in excellent area. Everything is close by and on walking distance. When I was there, heavy construction work was going on on the streets (outside the control of the hotel). Hotel rooms was bit small but overall I enjoyed my stay. The bed was comfortable and the house keeping was great at keep room clean. Bathroom was roomy and clean. There was mini fridge in the room but no bar. Coffee and tea packets were available. I did not try the breakfast option as there were so many other options around the hotel. The only negative point is that during my stay the place was noisy, even at night when there was no construction work. They need to provide noise isolation. TIP: Try to avoid the front facing rooms (over looking Imperial Pub) because of noise. Also ask for the top most floor room, you might get good views.

Very close to the Hotel The rooms are small as well as the gym but for those who have to spend a few days to visit Toronto it goes more than good. Also attached a bar restaurant for breakfast, honestly never tried it.

Rooms quite small but it is quickly forgotten as they are quite modern and the hotel is well placed in Toronto. On the other hand no breakfast, except in a small restaurant just next door in the lobby, but beware is small and so there is waiting.

Hotel is in a very convenient location. Staff is friendly and rooms are clean. The rooms are very small, but they make the best of the space. If you're someone who only uses a room for sleeping, and not to hang out in, this is a great place. I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because you can hear a little more from the hallways than you typically hear in other hotels and check in took 45 minutes. Not sure if it was just a bad day or what, but 45 minutes after travelling all day was tough. The staff remained calm and friendly for all guests though.

Location is sketchy. Didn't feel overly safe outside. Main lobby small and very little to offer guests. Rooms small and look good on the surface. Our bathroom door was a sliding door and would not stay closed. Good walking distance from the mall. Not somewhere I would stay again especially with kids. Glad I went with a friend and not my family.

Room very clean but minimalist. Curtains obscure the light and construction in the vicinity then awakening early assured. Air conditioning directly at the head of the bed so get air in the face all night. Uncomfortable mattress.

The location was perfect. Parking was 25 bucks a night, And you have to pay for Internet. But I guess that was all reasonable considering the price. The beds were very comfortable, and the view from the window was amazing. The toilet was very clean and comfortable as well. Will go again. Staff were kind and welcoming. Wheelchair accessible.

Fantastic location right downtown Dundas. Had a room on the sixteenth floor with incredible views. The room was a little small but this is downtown. The staff were fantastic and accommodating. Decor was pretty tasteful. Got a great deal when booking that included parking and Internet in the price. And while the parking is close and convenient the Internet was pretty terrible. It took far too long to get connected and when you did you could time your soft boiled eggs by your disconnections. I'd have been right angry if I had paid the extra the hotel charges for it. At least there's an exercise room on the second floor.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Wifi was an additional charge and the option to order it online didn't work at all. The room had a queen bed which was uncomfortable, the bathroom had a weird heater under the sink making the counter hot, there was no large bath towel, and the others were rough. The room was small and had more style than substance. I did like that one outlet on the ledge aka desk, had USB ports and standard power outlets. I wouldn't stay here again. The finishes look good until you get close and there's a lot of bad seems and unfinished bits.

Nice place and location. Lobby was recently updated, hallways and rooms were a little dated. Customer service was excellent. 2 of us took showers which resulted in a half full tub because it wasn't draining. Repairman was up to our room to fix it within a few minutes only to find out the tub stopper was in. We were pretty embarrassed but he was very nice about it. The only thing was the vending machines weren't working and ate a few dollars. But wasn't a huge issue.

It was really clean and upgraded rooms. Staff was friendly and courteous. Parking was expensive and feel like they over charged when they heard I was a guest at the hotel… have it free guys! As well as complimentary internet. If I had to choose I would take the free internet over the free parking. Other then that. I enjoyed my stay very much. And I pick this hotel due to the reviews. Business trip.

Location was perfect. Rooms were clean and comfortable. However, when we went to the restaurant we noticed everyone who was coming in after us was being served their food and leaving before our food, or even our coffee was served to us. The breakfast crowd had completely cleared out before we were served. We were not even going to tip it was so bad, and always tip very well. When we went up to pay there was a sign that said that if you have 4 or more people on your bill the tip would automatically be added. That's when we realized why we were served last, they were getting a tip from us no matter what! Terrible! But the hotel was GREAT!

Bond Place is a very sleek, modern hotel in the heart of Toronto's downtown core conveniently located close to attractions, amenities and transit. Service is always great, with staff who are pleasant and friendly, always ready to help. I've always had an enjoyable experience staying at Bond Place. My one complaint is that in the last 3 times I've visited, there's always been a problem with at least one elevator being out of service. The wait can get quite lengthy with all guests having to use the one remaining elevator. Taking the stairs of course is always an option, however, guests staying on the upper floors may not see it as an attractive one.

Friendly hotel that had everything we needed. Staff were great, the room was clean, beds were good, bathroom big enough. And the location is more or less perfect. Great breakfast just around the corner at The Senator.

Room are clean and the place is nice, but just as any downtown hotel they are small and you have to pay for everything! Parking is 25$ a day, Internet 8.99 + tax, no complimentary water or any thing! And your choice of free breakfast is only scrambled eggs with bacon! Location is super convenient! I don't think I'll stay here next time anyways! If your rate is 157$ You'll end up paying another 40-50$ on other stuff!

Stayed there for business. Location is very central. However, while the room is renovated with a queen size bed, it is quite small. Not sure if it would be comfortable for two people. Also important to note that the bathroom has a curtain instead of a door. For a small room, the space is well laid out and organized. Staff was very friendly.

Business queen room. Room was nice, but small. Would be perfect for overnight solo traveler, but tough to recommend for 2+ people or for extended stays. For example, bathroom door does not lock and the wall between the bathroom and bedroom is frosted glass. If you turn the bathroom light on at night, it will illuminate the entire hotel room. Mattress was poor at best, old springs, probably some other hotel's discards. Price was good, staff was nice, location is decent, but the room left a lot to be desired.

Personally wouldn't go back! The location is the best part and that's about it! The parking lot that they advertise for the hotel is far and is full from people going to work, so you we had to double pay for parking. Then we waited 20 min to check in they would help us then pick up the phone and help someone else. I get it it's downtown Toronto you're gunna charge for Wi-Fi but they don't tell you. The coffee machine was broken, door for bathroom was broken. We left a note saying what needed to be fixed. We get a charge on our credit card for damages and call they claim that we ripped the mattress, broke the coffee machine, ripped the carpet under the bed … We stayed for one night and were only there to sleep. Not Imprrssed with the customer service or management at all.

Super friendly and helpful service. The booking, check in and check out was seamless. The most redeeming quality of the hotel was the location: A block away from the Eaton's centre. It's not a fancy hotel by any means, and it shows in the decor but it's affordable and gets the job down if you're just looking for a place to sleep.

The beds were small. Qmd fairly hard. It was quite minimalist with small rooms but overall it was oka. Good price and good location.

Small room for two people with the worst bathroom door design. Fire alarm went off 4 times at night. Had to pay for Wi-Fi. But convenient location in downtown Toronto on the cheap.

This is the worst hotel spent this past Tuesday wednesday thursday there and as soon as I got into my room I had a worker open my. Door and walk right in. Then I had free Wi-Fi and they cut it off to tell me I had to pay 10$ for my stay to use the Wi-Fi after paying over 300$. Sheets were dirty looking. They don't even offer anything for their guests. They are rude and disrespectful! I will never ever stay here again! and to contact a head office they don't even have anyone. But the supervisor there. It ridiculous they call their self a nice hotel. It's discusting!

Don't stay here. Tried to charge me extra because I am not from Canada, when I asked for the fee online they gave me a smoking room and charged me extra to change. Stay elsewhere this place is janky.

This review will be posted across multiple platforms so you may see a duplicate review elsewhere. I can honestly say that contrary to other reviews I was extremely impressed with this hotel. The entire hotel is freshly renovated and is very bright in the lobby, the staff at the front desk are very friendly and the lounging area is very comfortable. There is a restaurant inside the hotel that has great food, but don't bank on it being open, they were closed at times that they were supposedly supposed to be open. The elevators can be a pain with the need for a key card every use and the reader can be problematic, but others wise seemed to work decent. Now on to the most important thing, the rooms. When walking into the room you are immediately greeted by a very modern layout with a sliding frosted glass door to the bathroom with frosted glass running along the bedside to let natural light into the bathroom. (Kudos, very clever) The showers are very awesome and have consistent temperature and water pressure. The floors are laminate wood and look great as well. The beds are very comfortable and the sheets are crisp, clean, and smell so fresh. There is a decent TV with around 60 channels and all of the $20 movies you could ever want to avoid renting. The views are quite pleasant as well depending on which side you're located on. The lighting is very inviting as well combining warm halogen with soft LED's. The room can be very well lit.

The room was really nice. The floors were hardwood, the view was nice and the beds were comfortable. The problem was the doors were very hard to close and had no locks!

I stayed at the Bond Place hotel for 8 days in January 2016. I was very disappointed with the overall experience. The website was very deceiving. Cons Temperature in room did not work/very cold Had to pay additional 8.95 a day for Wi-Fi in the room. Wifi was very slow. Poor restaurant No guide on tv Unfriendly front desk staff Very Narrow bathtub No dressers No microwave Phone didn't work Bathtub plug didn't work. Outlet in in bathroom didn't work. Pros Very clean Convenient location Zia — limo/cab driver was really wonderful. Cleaning staff very good and friendly. Small fridge in room was handy. Very comfortable bed I will not stay at the Bond Place hotel again but I will call Zia any time I need a cab. He was amazing!

Great attentions nice and warm rooms in winter and the location uffff! very good. I will be back soon.

Good place, modern design of rooms. Comfortable bed. A couple complaints though. We booked a room through hotwire only to be faced with a $15 fee to have a queen bed instead of two single beds. Also one elevator seemed rickety and in need of repair.

Got stuck in the elevator due to room cards randomly not working any more. Locked out of the room due to the same problem later that night. Got stuck in the elevator a second time due to cards failing again.

For short stay I would say it is okay. However I have to admit that GYM was quite small and Hotel doesn´t have a laundry (which is pitty). Room was quite small, but for short stay it is okay:-). Location — thumbs up! -1 star, coz the Internet is not for free (Bond Place, we are libivng in 21st century! )

This hotel is very poor in customer service, they perfectly lied on the room price. Before you do the booking they said 159+tax then upon check-in, price was changed without further notice. Upon check-out yhe price was raise with their own understanding, was raise up almost half to the price of the room. The room is too small, there is no couch to sit and to relax your feet. There is no free breakfasr and no free Wi-Fi.

Stayed at the Bond for one night and I was thoroughly impressed. Centrally located and the staff was professional and extremely helpful… got some extra towels, pillows and coffee withing a few minutes of asking. About the only bad thing I can say about the place is how loud the toilets were.

For the price ($108/night) this hotel is excellent. The staff was kind and professional. The location prime. The rooms are small but comfortable.

The room was tiny! The toilet scared the life out of me when I flushed, it was so loud. I think the person in the room beside me had a runny stomach or something because I heard flushing all night. The bed was so small and uncomfortable and to add icing on the cake, the tub was clogged so when I was showering water started filling the tub, check out was 12 but housekeeping tried to come in at 8, and at 10 that was probably the most annoying part. The only thing I liked about the hotel was the color scheme and the fact that it's close the hub of dt Toronto.

Great location, great service, and I really liked my room. I got Wi-Fi codes from the front desk (didn't have to pay per day) and the internet was fine.

My fiance and I stayed at the Bond Place Hotel on Friday April 24 — Sunday April 26, 2015. We decided to utilize the hotel's parking instead of constantly trying to find parking around the hotel. It was not clearly marked where the lot was, which is separate from the building and caddy-corner across the street. Somewhat of a pain to come and go from this lot and not a great parking structure. The hotel itself was very modern and clean downstairs, but the hallways of the rooms were clearly older structures that had been updated. The rooms — small, just like everyone said. The bed takes up the entirety of the "room" and was disappointing. They were definitely not as fancy as the website described/portrayed. We were constantly moving the temperature up and down because the fan would blow hot and cold air so strongly it was hard to maintain a comfortable temperature, and I can't imagine many of us want air constantly blowing on us at any temperature (which it did). Bed was super comfortable and clean. The bathroom was very stylish but not very efficient. The toilet blocks reach of the knobs in the shower, so not great for someone who can't reach or bend creatively around the toilet without falling. The door is a sliding block of wood that only covers the entrance to the bathroom, and does not create a seal. Luckily my fiance and I are comfortable with each other's more intimate habits so this was not a real issue I suppose.

Overpriced hotel with terrible service. Uncomfortable beds in a cramped space. No continental breakfast or pool. When trying to arrange a taxi at the desk, they didn't even ask what time it was for and went ahead with booking it immediately. There was hair on the towels.

Noisy toilets and small room. Probably a previous residence for Ryerson students. Friendly service, reasonable price, clean rooms, amazing location. Had a great sleep. I will be booking again in the future.

Rooms clean and comfy enough. I liked the blasting heater next to the window in a 2bed suite — others may not. Lack of free Wi-Fi, minging on local call charges and no free continental brekkie is just plain cheap-assed (cont breekie=a few rolls etc big deal). Phone lines down part of the evening, card reader in elevator wonky and night staff harried and a bit. Hmmm. Severe. Morning staff helpful. I think that we didn't get the absolutely lowest discount rate that I see on the web, so best to hunt a bit. Location fairly good near subway lines, so this is a biz-warrior rest stop, but it could do better. There's a holiday inn a bit east and south that is better, but away from the subway lines.

The location was perfect, the rooms are comfortable and quite large. However, it seems abnormal to make people pay for the Wi-Fi in the room and the hotel in general in 2014. Also, the two TV in the room did not work at all and the hotel is pretty noisy in general. Overall, it is perfect for a business trip (besides from the Wi-Fi not working) but I would not stay there for more than 2 nights.

Not bad. Although this hotel has it’s shortcomings, overall I would consider it a pretty good value, especially considering it’s central location (a short walk from the Eaton Centre and the Subway). The location is a bit of a drawback as well, however; anything immediately east of Yonge Street is sketchy and quite ugly (in my opinion). Tourists would do well to simply turn west the minute they walk out the door. Unfortunately parking is off-site, and though it’s immediately across the street, it’s not exactly the most secure or convenient arrangement. I digress though, I’ve never felt unsafe in this city, but there are certainly better neighbourhoods. The room was small and cramped, yet there is an effort in it’s design to make the most out of the space, which gives it a European feel. It’s this aspect of the hotel that saves the entire experience; I would consider returning. 7/10.

The location is good. But, calling ahead took 40 mins of being on hold. Person I spoke with on the phone gave me a firm quote and said one room was left. Upon arriving at the hotel a few hours later the person behind the desk said there were 3 rooms available and gave me a lower quote. If you want to use the hotel parking lot you have to pay per day and if you want Wifi you have to pay per day. Elevators are very slow and one was not working. Hotel tapped up signs trying to explain the parking situation and the elevators (just make the place look more sketchy). I would recommend you stay there as a Plan C.

Ok so to be clear its not a five star hotel but for the price the hotel is 5 stars I paid 100 for the night much cheaper then hyatt and westin who charge upwards of 200 but for a saturday night 100 is a great deal. Room is clean and newly renovated. Rest of hotel doesnt look to great. If ur coming for a night out just for rest this is a great choice if ur spending a weekend this is not for you. Under no circumstances should you bring ur gf or wife here if you make decent money.
