Worst hotel ever. No heat in rooms. Elevators weren’t working. Parking gate wouldn’t open so you could not get out of paid parking. Do not answer calls when calling to front desk from rooms. Not enough staff. Don’t waste your money. Most frustrating hotel experience ever. I would rather sleep in my car next time.

Booked online and made a note that we have a cat, got a message saying no problem. Showed up after a long day, was told they only accept dogs. Emailed asking for a refund, they are only willing to waive a pet fee at next stay. And apparently they do accept cats. Why would I ever stay at a place with such awful service that lies?

The people working at the front desks of Pan Pacific Toronto, Canada are not friendly at all! … I gave excellent service to all people working in the housekeeping department. I suggest the hotel needs to provide a microwave especially for customers staying more than a week. Mahalo,

Wonderful atmosphere, elegant, good service.

Inexpensive yet upscale meets comfort and peaceful atmosphere.

Upon arrival I had to carry my own bags into hotel there's was no bellman or doorman.

Overall good stay, except for some details in the service of breakfast, good quality food, comfortable facilities, and comfortable!

Customer service. They used to be pro at this but over the years they've become unresponsive and disengaged in caring about the needs of their clients and this is particularly true of their sales staff.

Stay was nice the hotel is super clean, staff were super friendly and the maid who came to clean the place was super sweet and they made sure the room were clean everyday. I stayed for 10 days. I would stay again for sure. But huge no no for me is paying for parking which is 12$ plus tax for parking uptown! Only hotel u town I stayed charges for parking! They have 2 restaurants in the hotel they both kinda pricy but worth it if you trying to stay in and not drive around looking for place.

So we got a wedding group rate and when we got here the lobby was beautiful so we were expecting the room to be gorgeous. Well. Our room wasn't ready for check in time so they upgraded us to the deluxe. And gave us free parking. The guest service was on point. Super friendly and tried their best to accommodate so shout out to them. But our room was very underwhelming. Pretty outdated. The lamps in the room didn't work. The phone didn't work. But the one in the bathroom did lol. No smoke detector installed. And I noticed pee marks on the toilet. So tells me if they did clean it wasn't a very detailed job. Also sheets had a weird stain. I probably wouldn't care to come back. Because the employees were so nice and really it was just our room that sucked. This could be a one off situation.

I stay here fairly often for work. The location isn't very exciting but it's convenient if you need to be in that part of town. The rooms are nice and the restaurants are good. Loved the running route recommended, as it took me to the beautiful Edwards Gardens.

Quality beds and bath towels as per the chain's trademark and reputation. Softest bathrobe I have enjoyed in a hotel. Beautiful views, lots of nature around the buildings. Starbucks coffee ☕. Huge outdoor patio, the width of the room. Chic lobby and restaurants with great views. Comfortable desk to work. The street across has tons of places to eat or drink. (Shameless plugs: Five Guys burgers, Starbucks coffee)

The ballroom was very spacious and well designed. Great lighting was very nicely decorated for the wedding I attended. The service was excellent. Dinner service was organized and the servers continually endured drinks were topped up. Then the washrooms were cleaned and refreshed multiple times throughout the evening. Parking in the back was plentiful and the outdoor space for the ceremony was very pretty with all the white lawn chairs. Overall a very nice wedding and banquet venue.

AC didn't work in my first room but I was able to move with no problem. Then I didn't have coffee in my second room. Otherwise everything was very nice.

The rooms are very pretty, my only problem Avenue the hotel eat that they demand a bank card for in reservation.

Had brunch at the Seasons restaurant. Food has improved since the last time I went. Some really yummy dishes including salmon, lobster, shrimps, roast beef (altho quite raw but they were willing to re fry it in the back), eggs Benny, waffles, Chinese dumplings and Peking duck. We had an 1130 reservation which was the earliest. It's too late for brunch but it was because breakfast brunch is before. I feel they should make an exception on Sundays and just start brunch earlier.

Wonderful place to stay. Well kept rooms. Location is easy access to the 401. Maid service and maintenance service were quickly attended to. I found the shower space to be small. The pillows in the room seemed old and not full. Overall a very nice Hotel. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the view from the restaurant was beautiful.

I really am so upset and disturbed by your billing. I was quoted $170.00 for each night for a 2 night stay. I called 2 weeks before arrival and also 2 days before and was assured this was the rate. Well that is not what I was billed on my credit card. Furthermore you took $577 twice on my card and $255 for a deposit. Then you proceeded to charge me at a different rate I was told. Right now on my credit card I have $1873.00 in charges from The Westin Prince Hotel for a 2 night stay.
You basically have ruined my vacation away and Luis and Paul were zero help. I guess it's ok to ruin someone's vacation and tie up $1873.00 on my credit card.

No I guess not.

The highlight of this hotel is the restaurants but the rooms are in need of renovation. They’re dated and showing their age. But there is a huge problem with this property, for me, at least. The hotel is so hot in winter that it was unbearable. The climate control in the room does nothing. Lower the temperature and it just blows out hot air. It’s an older system which is either on heat or on air-conditioning depending upon the time of year and cannot switch between the two. I’ve found most buildings in Canada to be too hot in the winter but this was truly ridiculous. You could feel the heat radiating from the floor in the bathroom and some of the hallways. I don’t know if this is on purpose or by accident but the result is a room that was easily in the mid-80s with the climate control turned off. And the windows don’t open. I was moved to a room with a sliding glass door they had to fix to allow it to open more than a couple inches and I kept it half open when the outside temperature was 10° F.

I've spent 1 weekend a year here for the last several years and there has definitely been a steady decline in service and overall experience. The most recent visit involved a late night fire alarm which we were told by the front desk, "the security is not prepared to deal with" and a separate incident of people in our group getting trapped in a faulty elevator. The food was better this year. So, come Prince, get it together. You have a great property here. 10 years ago you were close to 5 stars and now 3 is more than generous.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. I was there for a conference for a few days. There are restaurants and a Tim Hortons within walking distance. There's a green area out back that is nice too. The rooms are getting a little dated but my big concern was that the faucet in the shower is labeled incorrectly. If you turn it clockwise it gets hotter, not colder. The plate on it says the opposite. A kid could burn themselves. There was no bar fridge in the room either. Just an empty hole where one used to be. If you need one, I'd double check your room has one when booking. Like my review if you found it helpful.

Overall great experience. Check in was a breeze. The room was well appointed and clean. Check out was equally easy. The only snag we had was getting out of the overnight parking as the camera didn't recognize me license plate. This was remedied in a few short minutes. We would stay again.

Stayed there for a corporate event just for an evening. Staff is courteous and hotel looks nice enough inside, which is why I gave it two stars and not one. The negatives were: 1) Getting out of the parking lot was a nightmare at 9pm once our event was over. We had to wait 20+ minutes even though we prepaid our parking. There is only one lane out, as opposed to two (one for prepaid and one for cars that did not prepay in the lobby), so it was annoyingly slow to get out as many of the cars were paying at the automatic gate. 2) Nauseating citron smell in the lobby — it was of course fake but way too much! 3) The Starbucks decaf coffee turned out to be regular coffee, so I was up until 3am 4) The room for our breakout session was locked, so we had to wait 10 minutes for the staff to open it up. These are the reasons for the 2-star evaluation.

Was on business at the Westin Prince. Room facilities are OK, but have come in the years. There are actually more modern hotels. Fitness room is super small and not recommended.

The staff is not very well versed with each other. The ambience is okay, but the service is poor. Not valid for money.

Aesthetically it is very good, but they live doing repairs in hours of rest, very noisy, and although call to warn that you want to sleep continue boring and hammering.

I was here for a short conference for one day so didn't really get a full experience of the hotel. What I will comment on is the location is pretty easy to find and had lots of parking when I was there. It's an automatic license plate reader so no need for a ticket or going to the front desk. Also when at the conference they had an iPad at each door where you just punched in your license plate to register for parking with your event. On my way out the reader knew I was part of a conference and out I went. Easy! Also the food was good to there as well. We had lunch there and food was warm and tasty. No complaints for the short duration I was there.

First time staying at a Westin property. Lobby is very nice but rooms are very dated and very little attention to detail. Carpets in hallway leading to room are stained and has rolls. Room lacks electrical outlets by the bed, have to charge phone across the room. Robe provided is old and stained. Pictures on the wall are not even hung straight. Repairs in bathroom were poorly done and fixtures dated. Not what I anticipated in staying in a higher end property. I have stayed in nicer Holiday Inns.

The property is not bad, but appears in need of updating. The first room I was assigned had broken curtains. I was courteously reassigned to a different room — and the fabric on the chairs was plainly worn — through and in need of replacement. Having said that, the property is well located, near an LA Fitness "Signature" club and near many nice eateries in the Don Mills mall area. Enjoy your stay!

I enjoyed my visit. The king size bed was so comfortable. The towels were wonderful quality. I was in my room for an hour and room service gifted me with a fruit platter, a bottle of Perrier, a bottle of spring water and four delicious macaroons. I had the breakfast buffet the next morning and it had everything you could want. All the staff I interacted with were polite and friendly. My only complaint was the temperature was set really high in my room so getting ready for my function was a bit sweaty and the patio door wouldn’t open to cool off the room quickly.

Great hotel. Everything in the room was clean. No dust. Washroom is clean. Shower is clean. Bedding is amazingly soft. Air conditioning was nice and cool. Not cold. Bad thing was I had to intervene in two domestic abuse situations in the hall way in one night. Sad. Which made me lose sleep from noise because I didn't intervene right away. They gave me late check-out. I believe they put me in the party section of the hotel. Make sure that doesn't happen to you.

When we got to the room the maintenance cart was still in there and the maintenance person was in the middle of recaulking the bathtub but was nowhere to be found. Notified front desk and promptly got upgraded to a better room. It was nice of them to take care of it so quickly but the bed was smaller. The washroom I guess was nicer and had a tub and shower. Overall pretty happy with the stay.

We have our annual work Christmas party here and the food and service during the party was exceptional. We also booked a room and while they couldn't supply me with a AAA Battery, they certainly made an effort and I think they were going to send someone out for it. I didn't need one that badly. We also ordered room service and the food was again, excellent. Our stay was exceptional. We even got valet parking because it was winter and cold plus it was only an extra 6 dollars so what the heck! No discount for high level Local Guides though.

It's taking a long time for the renovation to be complete, the rooms were really recently done and adequate but there are still remnants of the old that can be seen like the bathtubs and sole fixtures. Beds were very comfortable and the lobby/restaurants are tastefully renovated. Sunday brunch is $59! Didn't try it but it looked ok. Better be for that price!

Hotel gym has one of the best set of cardio machines that I have ever seen in a hotel. That part was very much important to me and why I am scoring this hotel better than average. Downside was that the price you pay is way higher than the service you get. Rooms are old, mattresses are not comfortable, TV channels are extremely limited, and movies which are offered by hotel are costing 20$ each. I did expect that there would be an indoor pool but it turned out that there is just one outdoor one that is obviously close on November.

Love this hotel — great location and good value. The Japanese Restaurant is a classic! It is a bit of faded glory, but in a good way. The whole front desk staff is great, valet/doormen are SO polite — Paul Lee, in particular has been in a league on his own — for me. Recalling my name, always positive, complimentary, helpful, professional — the kind of employee that is a credit to their manager actually. Careful he doesn't get stolen away! NOTE: I think the area in the hotel bar for TV needs some TLC… just saying.

Any member of staff that I spoke to provided excellent service. Our room was big and comfortable, if not as recently renovated as the hotel lobby. I'll gladly have extra space over a fancy interior. Breakfast had a good variety of offerings. I especially enjoyed the daily fresh juice blend.

Organized for microwave I'm room ahead of time and to be in a room at end of floor (I had my 3 month old with me) my room request wasn't fulfilled and I had to wait for them to bring the microwave. Room was not nice enough for the price… peeling wall paper, moldy grout it's like they renovated only certain parts of the room when they updated. Workmanship was clearly shoddy. Mirror in room was crooked. Kind of demonstrated lack of attention to detail. Lack of luggage carts meant my husband had to make 4 trips while I cared for the baby (Yes we had a lot of stuff). In the morning it took more than 30 mins for milk for coffee to be brought to my room. Only bonus was that to make up for my wait they brought us a luggage cart so my husband didn't have to make a bunch of trips again. Bottom line… save your money and stay at a cheaper hotel, this one wasn't worth the price tag. Pretty lobby though.

They cut corners cleaning the room as we found cheerios on the floor. We got a discount room rate for a bridal party for one day and not the other. We paid more than double the cost. Staff was amazing. They held doors for us and got us trolleys to our room. They were very friendly.

We stayed at this hotel for our wedding and blocked many rooms for our guests. I was embarrassed to have recommended this to my guests. Suite rooms were dirty, phones were not working, guest alarm clocks were not working, halls were dirty, elevators were not working properly and the parking situation was terrible. Our guest's cars were constantly not able to go into or out of the parking due to a faulty parking gate which caused stress for guests being able to get to wedding events. To make matters worse we were overcharged at the end of our stay and that took weeks of headache, phone calls that went in circles and poor customer service to resolve. The only reason I gave them a 2 instead of a 1 is that the green space at the back of the hotel was beautiful for pictures. Would have expected a better experience given we booked so many rooms (including some suites) and brought great business to their bar and restaurant.

Hotel experience was great except one major issue that ruined it all. The terrible parking system is a damn disaster. The hotel acts as though they have no responsibility to provide parking that does not make their customers late EVERY DAY. (I was told by security that the system malfunctions every morning causing customers to be late getting out of the parking lot). This is unacceptable. I have reviewed the parking system company as well. If this issue is not fixed by the time I have to return to the area I will go somewhere else simply to know I will get to my meetings on time. The hotel can be great but if it causes me to be late everything else is worthless. Change your system. It is terrible.

Just finished an evening at the restaurant meeting up with a friend who worked close by. Had a fairly good meal which ended up costing $160 for two people and then decided it was time to go home. We gave our license to the server to validate our parking and went out to the car. When we got to the gate we were shocked to hear that we had exceeded our allowable time and had to go back into the hotel to pay an additional fee. When I went back in the staff were unaware of what was going on and after 10 min on the phone directed me to a kiosk to make my additional $5 fee payment. As it turns out the parking lot is managed by some money grubbing company that has no affiliation to the hotel and gouges people that exceed a invisible or poorly posted time allowance. Oh let's not forget that this whole ordeal took 30 min to sort out. I am appalled by the customer service and will never return to this establishment. Anyone who is going here beware of the parking lot…

Very welcoming, clean, efficient!

My fiance and I had a great stay at your hotel this past weekend for our wedding at a venue close by. The staff were all very professional. We particularly liked Matthew, who helped us with our car. He was very friendly and accommodating! The room we had was a great size (Jr. Suite) very nice and roomy. Worked especially well for my bridesmaids to all get their hair and makeup done comfortably. However, the lighting in the room was a little dim. It was great to have a balcony, however it looked like it needed a little maintenance. We had brunch in one of the meeting rooms downstairs the next morning, and everyone loved that. Great food. Much needed after a late night out for the wedding :) Thank you!

Located in a nice area with lots of things conviently close. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice. One poor thing about this hotel is they make you pay to park overnight even though you are paying for a room there.

Very good hotel. Nothing to complain and nothing to be amazed either. The staff was very kind, more than they was told to be, I guess. Stayed for the weekend for an event nearby, had paid breakfast (was part of the deal of the group discount for the event) and it was good, the waiter was very friendly and respectful. The room was very clean and comfortable and I loved the starbucks coffee inside!

Nice lobby. Rooms dated. No upgrade on check-in. Old bathroom. Internet was down on check-in. Tech support useless. Blinds didn't cover the windows completely. Woke with the sun.

Stayed overnight for a wedding. Quiet room, comfy bed. The coffee at the restaurant was lukewarm but the staff were lovely.

Had a lovely brunch with my family on Sunday. Excellent selection of international foods with a slight emphasis on traditional Chinese favourites. A little bit on the pricey side, but definitely quality product and a beautifully decorated dining area. Will return soon.

In a poor location which takes away from the value of the hotel. Good restaurants are 5-7 miles away. The restaurant is incredibly over priced with poor service and a la carte. The rooms are nice and clean.

I absolutely love this hotel. It is a perfect combination of contemporary design with home comfort. I come to the Westin Prince to escape from the typical life stresses. Clara does an amazing job with helping me getting settled quickly and into my room to relax. Clara never misses an opportunity to go above and beyond by making my experience even better than the last stay if it is even possible. She is honestly one of the main reasons as to why I continue to book at this hotel! I would like to express my greatest thank you for all her hard work! For the actual room, the beds are heavenly and the rooms have black out curtains so that you can continue sleeping even when the sun comes out. The bath room is always kept clean and amenities are always stocked! Overall an amazing experience with great staffing especially Clara.

We went for brunch. The service was poor in that we had to ask for simple things like our plates being cleared (they started piling up). They ran out of cheese cake with 1.5 hours to go. They were flaky/a bit rude about a special request to cook an egg longer. We had to hunt down a waitress to order wine. We had to ask for the bill as well after waiting for some time after clearly having eaten dessert/sitting around. Too much aggravation for an expensive (supposedly) high end brunch. The waitress was also pretty surly and seemed uninterested in her job.

Spotty service, a few great employees but several clueless. Nice lobby but rooms are old. Wi-Fi is terrible. Gym decent but often crowded as it's too small.

I am staying at The Weston Prince for 10 days while I work out of our Toronto office and have had an amazing experience. They had a fruit tray and water waiting in my room and made sure I was taken care of. Their rooms are very nice, clean, and comfortable and the view is amazing. Room service is fast and the food is also top notch. I would highly recomend this hotel and I have stayed here many time over the years for work without one bad experience.

Annual Company dinner at the banquet Hall, food was decent especially the hor d'oeuvres.

I went for the breakfast brunch on a Sunday because during the holidays they did not offer their regular brunch buffet. The service was great but the food selection was minimal. The scrambled eggs were obviously made of powder. The waffles were in a warming tray making them soggy instead of crispy. There was a wide selection of fruits. And the smoked salmon was good. However, at $22/person and no senior pricing, I will not be returning. I can get a gourmet breakfast that is better quality elsewhere.

We were a group of seven that attended the Christmas day buffet dinner. The decor, service and MOST of the buffet were terrific our major complaint No ROAST TURKEY and No mashed potatoes and gravy How big a deal would it have been to have a tray of mashed potatoes and a roast turkey at the carvers station. very disappointing.

We had our holiday party at the ballroom. The food was great, the staff very friendly, and the atmosphere topped it off!

Old hotel. Dark rooms. Poor service for conferences and events. They kept running out of hot water and plates and coffee.

The service was excellent, the lobby is very nicely renovated. Less one star because the room was a bit small and there weren't any plugs by the bed (not many plugs at all actually).

Don Mills and York Mills. The rooms were big and spacious, the seats were comfortable and the lighting was very good. Service was prompt and the people were polite and very professional.

Lobby area is gorgeous. Staff friendly enough. The rooms however, need a major upgrade. No high-def channels on the TVs? This is 2015, hello? Even a Holiday Inn has this feature. I stay at this property a lot as it's close to the office, but even being a longtime Starwood member, I can't ever recall being given a Queen bed. Best thing about this place is its proximity to the adjacent Katsura restaurant — the best sushi you'll eat anywhere.

Rooms were very large, close to Tim Hortons, quick drive to subway, although staff was not too helpful with loud people in the hall during the night.

We had our wedding here and had a wonderful experience. Tatjana was really helpful and quick to respond to any of our questions and provide suggestions. They took care of all the details and we had no need to hire a day of coordinator. The food was awesome. They have a very comprehensive package and they really gave off the impression that they just truly wanted you to have the best experience. I would definitely recommend this venue!

I stayed at the hotel in 2015 and had problems with my room due to air conditioning noise, they came to repair the problem the next day but the same noise came back. I had to finally change my room after 2 nights of not sleeping. In the new room they gave me the phone did not work and had to be replaced along with the desk chair that was broken. It's lack of attention to detail and not what you expect from hotel in this category. They partially compensated me and told me to call them in advance the next time I was coming to Toronto, which I did and left a message, but they never returned my call. It is a nice looking hotel, I suggest you check your room carefully before unpacking in case there is a problem and you may have to change rooms.

Stay was great. Morning breakfast buffet is on the expensive side but it is like that at all hotels that offer pay for breakfast.

I like reading reviews about hotels because it really does affect my selection. I started giving reviews since I do read them and I want others to know why I love this Westin. When I got to the front desk I was greeted by a nice lady who was very helpful. We got a great room and amazing service. We are definitely coming back bed, sheets, towels. So nice.

The lobby and main floor is gorgeous and the staff pleasant. The rooms leave quite a bit to be desired and need some tlc and updating. The sheets and towels smell very strongly of the industrial cleaner they use to wash them, which made it feel more like a hospital room than a hotel. Overall, expensive for what it is.

Everything about this hotel is fabulous! Upon arrival there was a plate of fresh fruit in the room. Along with a note welcoming me to the hotel. This was just one of many touches that made me feel this was a home away from home. The bed was heavenly. Immaculate, comfy, soft linens. The room was big, bright and spotless. The staff were all wonderful. Right from the doorman, front desk to the maid service. All friendly, helpful, professional. This hotel knows the meaning of old fashioned customer service. The food in the dining room was delicious. I cant say enough words to praise this hotel. Its simply a class act.

Clean and comfortable facility and very nice inside and outside with many choices to dine withing the hotel facility or across the street. I liked everything about it except that you have to pay for internet and parking. I would totally go there again.

Lobby is OK. The ground upkeep is lacking and dated. The rooms/hall wall decor/carpet need major updating. This is much worse than the Westin in the US and the worst of all the Westins I have been.

My home away from home. They take care of me here.
