Good value hotel. We had a ground floor room which was convenient as there are doors to outside as well as the inner corridor on the ground floor. Also I would like to recognise Leroy the bus driver who drove the shuttle to the airport — he really couldn’t be more helpful!

Over the years I have found the Carlingview Airport Hotel to be of excellent value with great service. I want to commend and thank the hotel and it's reservation staff for their help with a personal problem that occurred pertaining to my last reservation.
I have and will keep on recommending this hotel.

Have stayed here a few times, waiting for our flight out of Toronto Airport, and have absolutely no complaints. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and beds comfy. Glad they still have some smoking rooms, so as not to stand outside in the winter cold. Hot coffee and muffins/cookies every morning. Short bus ride to the airport when ready to take off.

The location was great and you can't go wrong with the price! The room was clean and was even able to check in 2 hours early. Once you get there you may think you'll hear planes landing all night but after staying on the 3rd floor you can't hear the planes at all. Overall great hotel for the price!

We only crashed there for a few hours when a flight got delayed, but the staff were super helpful, the room was clean and had the standard amenities. It's old, and the hallways smelled like smoke, but the room was fine. Definitely worthwhile to get some sleep and a shower. And decent enough for budget-friendly trips! I'd stay again and recommend it for what it is. Thanks again to the staff who made my nightmare trip a bit more pleasant.

They were very receptive when I said it was for a special event. My partner has been in abroad for over 6 weeks and I came to pick her up. Decided to book at hotel near by so that she could wind down before returning home. I purchased the room and began explaining the situation through email to the staff. They made sure to put a note so that we would get the best matching room. I really appreciated how kind the staff were. Great place. Great staff!

Older but very clean Renovations have been made Super friendly staff Reasonable Prices They have their own secured Park & Fly that they shuttle you to and from Nice and quiet We initially stayed here with friends as it was the only motel left where they could get a smoking room in Toronto. Happy to say as a non smoker… you would never ever know that they have a floor/wing for smokers. There is no scent of smoke We have continued to return to this hotel because its clean; the reasonable prices and the friendly staff.

Good bang for the buck! The rooms are comfortable, a bit dated as others have mentioned, but definitely comfortable and clean. The mattresses are firm and pillows very fluffly/light. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful even under a lot of pressure. I totally appreciate their professionalism! I parked for $5/day with my stay, which is very reasonable because I used the FREE shuttle to access the airport and took the transit downtown. The transit costs $9 to get to union station and took about 15 minutes. The breakfast included is only pastries and muffins, but still a great place!

Was a positive experience for the most part. At one point a guy wandered into our room; turned out they overbooked and assigned him to our room. He got moved somewhere else, but our room keys didn't work after that. Kind of made an otherwise good experience uncomfortable.

It may not be flashy, fancy and new, but it's clean, comfortable, comparatively inexpensive and friendly. What more does one need for a quick overnighter near the airport?

We were staying here a night before flying out the next day. I've stayed here before and it's perfect for this reason. The beds are not the most comfortable but otherwise the room was clean and adequate. The woman checking us in at the front desk was friendly and hilarious and definitely added to the stay! The shuttle was on time getting us to the airport and was helpful getting our baggage on and off. When we returned, made a call to the hotel for a return shuttle and he was there within 10 minutes which was great. The long term parking was off-site but it wasn't far at all and my truck was safe and locked up during our time away. I would recommend this hotel for any park sleep and fly needs you have!

Good transportation to and from the airport, room was large and spacious. Could have had more stars but hotel was booked solid and I ended up in a smoking room. Sometimes that's not too bad but the whole hallway stunk and the room was even worse. Also bathroom fan came on with the light and was very loud. Otherwise it was decent but older.

I have enjoyed my stay at Carlingview many times the night before taking a trip on an airplane. The front desk staff are nice and helpful. The rooms are very neat and clean and the beds are very comfortable. What more could you ask when all you need is a good night's rest? Oh! That's right; free coffee and tea anytime and a fireplace in the lobby — great to relax in front of while reading on a bitterly cold evening!

Car broken into upon return from trip window broken, air bag stolen, their response "not our issue" nothing done not even an apology.

Pretty cheap. Look schetchy from the outside but pretty cute from the inside. Clean and sufficient. Breakfast is not include but they provide pastries and coffee in the morning.

Hotel stay was fine. Using the airport shuttle was a terrible experience. The driver was rude and made it well known that he was behind on his pick ups. He drove quite fast and used his cell phone and radio at the same time while driving. And on our way to the airport that driver asked us Term. 3 and drove right on by our drop off without asking our airline. He knew we were doing to term 3 and than made a big deal about going back around. He even swore. I know it's a private company that does this shuttle. But the Carlingview should know what they have their name attached too. It's hurts their reputation.

Very close to the airport but in need of some serious updating… we got a smoking room (somehow selected no preference for room type) and as soon as we opened the door the heat was blasting and it stank of cigarette smoke. It was awful. We immediately went to the front desk and asked for a non smoking room. Thankfully we were able to get a second room. The second room smelt pretty musty but we only had to sleep there one night before taking our flight out. The shuttle service to the airport was helpful and on time but we would not stay here again nor would we recommend this hotel.

Our overnight stay was part of a trip. We were able to park our vehicle there and stay over night for one price. Very reasonable. Our room was comfortable band clean. The parking was as exoected. The shuttle to the airport was punctual. Good arrangement!

Clean rooms. Great beds. Convenient location to airport and offers free shuttle service. Downside, no restaurant but a fridge in room. Coffee was terrible and pastries sub par. Bring your own toiletries! The only soap is industrial soap in the dispenser that I made the mistake of using on my face which resulted in severe allergic reaction and blurred vision. … Hotel is in immediate flight path but didn’t bother me. Woman at front desk is a bit abrasive and did not make us feel
welcome. We were there on a business trip and it suited our basic needs for the price.

Very close to the airport. The room was large and the staff very friendly. Our package included parking for up to two weeks. It was a bit inconvenient as the car was locked in a compound Away from the property so we had to leave our overnight suitcase at the hotel but it should be safer for the car. There was even coffee and pastries in the lobby while we were waiting for the shuttle at 5am. We have never stayed at a hotel that had something that early. Nice touch!

The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Shuttle was quick to pick up from airport. Very odd that you can't have more than 4 people per room. You have to get 2 rooms even if it's 3kids and 2 adults you can pay extra for each you have to rent another room and one of them was an infant. Think that's just a money grab to make u rent another room. Staff could definitely use some customer service courses.

They left us at the airport without a transfer. When we said we needed the shuttle, they cut our phone. Very bad reception attention.

Stayed on when our flight was delayed. Hotel was comped by airfare. Simple and economical, clean enough. Really firm mattress though.

Just stayed overnight before a flight, free breakfast was great. Shuttle service and parking added bonus for the price.

Convenient location, yes. Not great service, over priced for what you get. I stayed here and for $129 before taxes, paid $5 to park my vehicle (because that’s not included in the cost of the room). But what is included is the a swath of long red hair, not just a few strands but a large hank of hair in the shower on the shelf for shampoo. Also at no extra cost, mouse bait and dirty utensils in the night stand. Their idea of cleaning it up was taking a piece of toilet paper and wiping the hair away. I did get a $20 reduction on the bill but the yuck factor was priceless. The bed was not comfortable the linens looked clean though. Lots of marshmallow sized pillows and slow counter service at the front desk. All in all a very underwhelming experience.

Staff and service was great, room was satisfactory. Free airport shuttle bus was really helpful! Only complaint would be the very loud air con. Wasn't expecting a quiet night due to airport proximity, but air con was the worst! Other than that, a completely fine airport hotel!

I stayed at this hotel the night before an early flight. The staff were very nice and the small pastries for breakfast hit the spot. Highly recommend.

My parents stay here every year to catch their flight the next morning. The staff is professional and make the very early wake up call as painless as possible. The shuttle runs conveniently. Free tea and coffee in the lobby all day and night.

Located really close to the airport with free shuttle transport service though you may need to call the hotel to send it. Staff where really friendly and helpful. We arrived at 11pm not having had dinner due to time changes so hotel helped us order pizza which was delivered to the room. The room itself was basic but clean and comfortable. There was one plane that landed at about midnight which was really loud but it was the only one and since all thev airport hotels are near by, you'd get that in any of them so I'd rather pay less and put up with it.

The Carlingview is a no frills hotel. Rooms are clean and comfortable while the staff is prompt and friendly. The "breakfast" quality knocked off a star though; it was pretty much just coffee, tea and a few pastries. If breakfast isn't important, then disregard that. There's also a decent cafe next door.

Decent hotel and fair price. It is a little older styled but the rooms are a good size and the mattresses were comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful and the location is conveniently located near the airport. There are some nice restaurants and a coffee shop right next to the hotel so you can walk there. The reason for the two stars is because the room was a little dirty. There were blood stains on the comforter and sheets and a little bit of fecal matter was smudged on the rear side of the toilet seat. I assume this waa just shoddy work from a maid who didn't do a thorough cleanse. I suggest to thoroughly inspect your room for settling in.

Clean, comfortable, and enough. The shuttle took a little time to arrive, but the experience was fine. It was the cheapest in the area.

Staff have all been lovely, clean, comfy beds, bath and shower en suite — I love a bath! The shuttle is fantastic and Leroy, one of the drivers was so kind watching out for me when he took me back to meet family. Good to have tea and coffee on tap, pastries got us by for breakfast. Pool etc. Handy and good size. Great value for money!

The hotel as such is very good, especially for the price, but still a bit far from the main attractions of Toronto (25 minutes without traffic, 45-50 minutes with traffic).

The hotel is dated and shows a general wear, tear and grime. That said the service was excellent and I will definitely look to stay here again. My needs were met and exceeded whenever I interacted with staff.

Stayed one night with an Air Canada voucher after being bumped from an overbooked flight. Very close to the airport and they have a free shuttle that goes there. Quick check in, room and washroom were very clean, Wi-Fi worked well. Had a breakfast voucher which I used at the Marriott right next door for some delicious eggs, sausage, toast and potatoes. Overall a pleasant part of a not so good travel experience!

This page is a dump. I travel for work and this was the worst hotel in my 14 years. Worthless staff, the elevator was not working and we were put on the top floor. Mind you in flight crew so I carry several bags. We asked for a lower for and they refuse to accommodate. The room smelled of cat urine. And two of the towels had seen better days, one of which was stained. The restaurant was closed. This hotel was pathetic.

The hotel room was not too bad but not recommendable for a family with children. The front desk lady was very rude. Remember they charge you $5.00 for over night parking. (well… Who does not stay over night in a hotel lol) I will never stay in this hotel again.

Room was OK. Bed we as comfortable. Clean. Hotel looks kinda old but the rooms are descent.

Good for a short stay, no rush, but front desk staff needs more training, went there for a meeting with a client and front desk lady was not in good mood.
