Beautiful rooms and very comfortable beds.

Not here an hour and Dogs barking and howling in the next room. Not impressed at all.

I will never stay there again! Bed bugs & loud dog barking — very unhelpful staff. A complaint email was sent last Friday with pictures and a video, and STILL no reply from management. Very unprofessional!

Overall not a bad place to stay. Price was good. The hotel room we had was very clean. The decor is a bit dated but otherwise good. The hotel itself is a small 2 level hotel. Parking is sufficient for the hotel, we did not have any issues. The dining area was a bit small but breakfast was served on paper plates and plastic cutlery so we just took the food back to the room. The breakfast itself is what you'd expect of a complimentary breakfast. Toast, muffins, jams, cereals, hard boiled egg, hash browns, scrambled egg, bacon / breakfast sausage. The coffee machine in the lobby dispenses pretty bad coffee. Provided beans in the room are better. Staff were courteous and kind. The only odd thing was the in room coffee. It was a bit odd to have 3 brew packs with 2 being de-caffeinated. We are acid coffee drinkers so we wrote a note on the coffee and requested it be swapped for the next room cleaning. We were ignored and it just was not replenished at all. Overall good on a budget, just bring your own brew!

The room is clean and staff is friendly. The dining area for the continental breakfast is a little small and we had to wait for things to be filled. Food itself was fine.

Very convenient location, close to downtown and amenities. Staff was friendly, rooms were very clean, spacious and modern, and the bed was incredibly comfortable.

Have stayed here on a number of different occasions. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The sleep is great and the breakfast is one of the better ones that I've had at a Comfort Inn.

Just met up with friends in town for the weekend. First time I've been in this location and it seemed very clean and staff was very friendly. Lots of parking. Not as close as some other hotels in town to restaurants/waterfront (not a short walking distance but ok for a long walk, still a very close drive) Was not an overnight guest so I don't have a whole lot else to add but I would definitely recommend it to a friend bases on my short visit.

Excellent front desk personnel; gladly and quite well responses in french and English. Cheaper to stay and enjoy breakfast than cab ride back to north Sydney! Friendly staff, very comfortable beds… I guess that's why they call it comfort Inn!

Room was great and bed very comfortable. Nice and quiet as it wasn't busy. Breakfast was free but not very appitizing as we went later and hot items were made for a while. Polite service and I would return. Just make sure to go to breakfast early while things are fresh!

Disgusting comforter had blood on it. On a few different places or it was poop. There was a long dark hair in the sheets. And I am a blonde.

Rooms were immaculate. Quiet. Close to downtown.

Typical Comfort inn hotel with similar layout to moast of them. Hotel is clean, was renovated about 2 years ago. Staff is usually friendly and helpful. Huge price difference depending on the season, summer months are more expensive because of tourists and people going in town for the ferry. Decent rates overall but much cheaper in the winter.

Everything was fine except for their garbage Wi-Fi. So weak that it is almost useless. Needs upgrading from the dial up they seem to still have.

Never a bad place to stay. They are pet friendly and offer a decent snack for breakfast.

Oops. I accidentally reviewed the Comfort Inn Sydney, when I meant to review the Travelodge Sydney. Sorry! I spent two nights in Sydney. The first night was at another hotel (see my review of The Martin Arms) where I refused to stay a second night. There is absolutely no comparison between the two, so you you can safely ignore the 3 stars given to The Martin Arms and the 2 stars given to the Travelodge. Based in my experience, these stars are arbitrary and meaningless. The Travelodge is much more modern, much cleaner, with much friendlier staff. The Travelodge has a free buffet style breakfast. It's not gourmet dining, but it's certainly adequate and what you would expect for a free breakfast. The other hotel had no breakfast at all, or even a restaurant where you could purchase breakfast (dinner only — they don't tell you that when you check in, only when you show up for breakfast). As a retired pilot, I spent most of my career staying in hotels. I can honestly say that I have nothing negative to say about the Travelodge Sydney. Thank you for saving me from a second sleepless night at The Martin Arms!

-Wi-Fi sucks… Come on guys, it's 2017. Give us decent Wi-Fi -Continental breakfast is a joke — "100% pure apple juice". Don't you mean "50% pure apple juice and 50% water"? — can hear EVERY dude in adjacent rooms peeing -No ATM.

It's in a convenient location near to the downtown Sydney area, the boardwalk and more. Rooms are clean and it's a quiet area. The staff are friendly and helpful. There was also a renovation done in the front entrance and sitting area where they serve breakfast in the morning.

The hotel is in serious need of renovation. This is the most dated comfort inn we ever stayed in, the pictures on the website are wrong. This hotel looks more like a motel. Also, cleanliness is not at par with other hotels. My towels had hair stuck on it. Overall, this is just a 2 star comfort inn.

I didn't like the location of this hotel. Breakfast is not worth. We went to have breakfast around 9am on the wk end and there was no fruit. No place to sit in the breakfast area. Small beds and not very clean linens. It is definitely not worth the price. I would not recommend it to anyone unless you don't get anything in Sunday.

Everything about this hotel is adequate. The pillows and the towels are good, the bed is on the hard side but the AC got the room nice and cool. The breakfast that is included is descent for a free meal. Not my favorite hotel in Sydney but not a bad choice.

One of the more modernized Comfort Inns I've encountered. AC/heater in every room, and decent breakfast spread. Downtown Sydney is just close enough to walk, and Kings Rd provides convenient access to highway. Cleaning staff in particular gets high marks.

It's easy to reach, it has a lot of parking places. You can walk around, but most likely you'll be the only one on the sidewalks, so it will be better to use a car. The room is large, hot/cold breakfast is included and you have a few choices. AC/heater in every room, but they are quite noisy; you can hear even the neighbouring ones.

The young lady (never did catch her name) on evenings for the past three days has been absolutely wonderful. We were held up here in Sydney on our way to NL due to inclement weather. She is always smiling cheerful and accommodating. She made our stay with your establishment quite enjoyable. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable (wish we could take it to NL for our stay there).

Clean, comfortable rooms. Newly renovated. They have cheese omelets — awesome.

Still in the middle of our stay but so far things are great. Friendly staff, room is clean and bathroom seems recently renovated.

It was clean. Friendly staff. Beds were quite hard. Toilet seat was broken. As was the shower head (wouldn't adjust, would slip back down) so you had to stand pretty close to the wall to get the effect.

I stay here frequently because my job entails me to and it's always fantastic. The staff are great, the rooms are always perfectly cleaned and presentable. The only criticism I would have to give is I'm not a huge fan of the breakfast food (the hot breakfast) that they have to serve. Although they give you plenty of options on what you can choose so it's not even that large a criticism. The Wi-Fi can be weak at some points as well, but overall works great.
