This is a family owned business and they certainly make you feel as part of the family. Loved the quiet social atmosphere. Walking distance to great food and coffee.
I will recommend this to everyone. Again wonderful family and motel.

The Manitoulin Inn is second to none in everything it does. Clean, neat, organized and comfortable. The staff are professional and helpful. The location is central to everything. You will be impressed.

We were treated awful, the owner is a bigot she referred the other motel as THOSE people, I ask her why she said THOSE, she got hostile, I have a witness to back me up on this, she is a BIGOT, and not nice at all.

An excellent home away from home, the shower needs to not soak the floor that you then need to levitate off of to dry your feet before stepping out to the carpeted room.

Very clean and nice rooms. Nice fridge but it did not have a freezer section. The staff allowed us to keep our freezer packs in their freezer for us. Helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again!

For what it’s worth. I went to this Inn today to check it out. I drove in and was immediately confronted by a man. He was under the assumption I was just using his open to the public place of business to turn around. Before I could explain myself, he started yelling at me and offended me. I quickly got out of there and definitely will not be going back. This man seemed to be very crusty and bitter. He definitely needs anger management.

Rooms are clean but a little outdated. Owners are friendly and helpful.

Very clean rooms. Great location. We like it a lot. The only thing that could be improved is to have spare cots for families with younger children.

Comfy bed. Close to cup and saucer trail, bridal veil falls and providence bay. Restaurant next door.

Excellent service, ideal location if you find yourself visiting Manitoulin Island and are looking for a nice, clean and comfy place to stay. Rooms are quite big and very cozy, owners are the nicest people ever, very attentive and accommodating.

Probably one of the best kept motels you will ever stay in. Spotlessly clean, reasonably updated and spacious rooms, with immaculate grounds and gardens. Right next door to the Grill and Chill restaurant (home cooked meals with fresh ingredients and huge portions) and a few minutes walk to Mum's diner and bakery (great for breakfast) and the village of Mindemoya. Absolutely perfect location for day tripping through central Manitoulin.

I just tried to book last 2 rooms only which you can see online. I entered my credit card information and I don't know if the booking process has gone through. I called them to make sure. The lady on the phone said that they have been booked for the date I tried to get. And when I ask it's shown 2 rooms are available online, she started yelling at me. "Stop asking question" and she didn't even listen to me. She was so rude and didn't let me understand what is going on. Terrible behaviours and experience with them. Even if they had room, I wouldn't stay there. God knows how bad they would treat us over there.

Absolutely wonderful place. Nice size portions of great food. Except, they don't peel the potatoes for french fries. Dry, old skin is just gross eating. Other than that staff and food was the best!

Stayed here while on a motorcycle tour with my wife. Very clean motel style inn. The place is family run and the staff is very helpful. Located close to a small hospital and a village with a grocery/LCBO agent store. When we arrived the grocery store was closed but the owner's son Larry was kind enough to call the next closest store and make sure they stayed open until we got there-that's what I call service! Exactly 30 minutes to South Baymouth.

Very nice place to stay. Recently renovated and rooms are clean. Bathrooms a bit dated. TV allows you to plug in chromecast but the Wi-Fi is pretty weak. Streaming content was choppy.

The owner is nutbar. Positive there are bedbugs. Don, t stay.

Rooms are nicely sized with many features like microwave mini fridge coffe pot. Desk a little table 1 bed and a couch convertible bed. Nice sized TV with a good selection of programming not to mention the Wi-Fi speed is decent. I find the bed to be a little too firm for my liking but that may just be personal preference. Close to the heart of Mindemoya with a great restaurant near by and coffee shop. Easy to find from the road as well. Nice and clean.

One of the best small family owned and run Inns that we have ever had the pleasure of staying at. Well appointed property and rooms with all the amenities one needs, clean, comfortable and affordable. Will most likely return to this location if available in the future.
