The staff here are very friendly and helpful, they made check-in a breeze. My room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is within walking distance to many of the major sites.

I highly recommend that you do not stay here. The first night my truck was broken into. I told the staff and they could not have cared less. They said I could fill a police report if I wanted. They didn't even offer to pay for my cab to Speedy. $400 later I didn't get any discount on my room. The next day I had a note on my vehicle that I was not a customer and my car was going to get towed. Security is not 24 hrs. The service was terrible, bed was old and the location was not a good part of town.

Like other said: downtown location within walkable distance of many attractions. Beakfast included (simple selection but acceptable), with pool and spa.

Great value place to stay in Winnipeg. Within walking distance to the forks, a lot of museums, and the core. Salt water pool was nice, temp was good. Hot tub was not working one day of our 6 day stay. When it was working the jets for the back weren't working properly but the lower ones for the feet were working great. The room was a great size with the decor neutral but in need of a bit of an update. We had a king with a seating area and small kitchenette (sink, microwave and mini fridge). The staff were great and personable. Our room was clean and kept clean throughout our stay. They could improve on the vacuuming in the hallways, we noticed the same ball of thread by our door for 5 of our 6 night stay. The pillows are the best of any hotel I've stayed at while traveling to date. Breakfast was pretty standard for continental. Our room was quiet which was awesome considering the hotel is located on a busy road. We also never heard anyone in the hallways from inside our suite. Overall we were satisfied with our hotel choice.

Priced great. Location great. Clean rooms with lots of bright lighting and night light. Pool was clean and warm. Friendly check in.

The room is adequate with small fridge and microwave, along with coffee maker. Plus is a desk with Ethernet and fast internet connection. We haven't used the coffee maker in the room since the dining room on the main floor has coffee with several selections depending on how strong you want it. Plenty of breakfast choices as well. Another plus is having the parking lot watched by a security guard late afternoon through the night. All in all a good experience.

Stay here if: You like to be condescended to by barely adequate staff. You like having to beg for toilet paper. You like confusing and contradictory information through third-party booking sites. You like disappointing breakfasts! You enjoy relaxing in a brown water hot tub. You expect half done housekeeping services. The location can't be beat, though. Wifi is fine, other service adequate. Despite that, definitely not going to stay here again.

As expected the hotel is old but the rooms are well maintained and clean. Beds are comfy. Clean bathroom. The rates depends on the season and it goes up when they’re fully booked. Close to majority of tourist spots in the city so it’s a plus. Staff are friendly and helpful. Guards are all over the area to Make sure that the guests are safe. Didn’t get the chance to try the breakfast but I heard it isn’t bad. Other facilities like pool and steam room has to be repaired though to look neat. Overall, We enjoyed our stay here and will come back if there’s a need or whenever we need to unwind for a while.

I always stay here when I’m in winnipeg for work and I am very happy with their customer service! The rooms are clean, the free breakfast is great and the staff is very friendly. Plus, what hotel, nowadays, put cookies and microwaveable popcorn in the room!?!?

We had a youth choir of 28 staying for 5 nights, and the staff was totally accommodating, friendly, patient and helpful. The breakfast buffet food was varied and plentiful, and included "something for everyone". Although it's an older hotel, it was a great price in an excellent location for us to be able to walk everywhere we needed to go. We all thought it was a bargain for the location, the size of the beds and rooms, the comfort of the place and the super accommodating and friendly staff. Our only wish is that we could have used real dishes instead of all the plastic plate and plastic cutlery and plastic glasses at breakfast each day. The amount of plastic garbage each day made us feel guilty. I highly recommend this hotel to other youth groups on tour!

Friendly staff. Breakfast changed every mornin — enjoyed the variety. Short walk to The Forks and Human Rights Museum. Our room was very clean and had a nice scent. I will book again.

After having to unexpectedly cancel our Airbnb booking, we looked for affordable hotels downtown and the Humphrey was the winner. Even without a reservation they booked us in quickly and easily. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean. Water pressure and temperature in the shower was great. It is near the train tracks so we were woken up by trains a couple times. Otherwise a fine stay.

Close to everything downtown, clean, friendly staff. Nice pool and hot tub. The pool is warm, and hot tub hot. Rooms are nice and was pretty quiet even on the night of playoff game and a block party. Will stay here again.

Right in the heart of downtown, close to the forks market and MTS centre for hockey games or concert. It has all the facilities of a 4 stars but the place need some update, the carpet needed deep cleaning and stain in the washroom other than that it was good.

Breakfast was okay. Hot tub was not hot enough. Rooms were clean. Location was good.

Wonderful location! My boyfriend and I stayed here on our first visit to Winnipeg. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. The complimentary breakfast was warm and delicious. The hotel was within walking distance of the Forks market, the human rights museum, the Winnipeg sign as well as many amazing restaurants. I am very happy that I booked my stay here.

Very friendly staff, they've been very helpful and attentive. The room is a little worn, the bed is pretty old and the breakfast is underwhelming. Good location though and the internet is fast and reliable.

Very helpful, friendly security guards that watch your vehicles and the staff is also great. Clean rooms with basic essentials to make you feel comfortable. They have five alive in the drink machine!

Right downtown within walking distance of everywhere you need to go in Winnipeg. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and gave me a bunch of tips on where to go and what to do/eat. The breakfast is sub-par and the "gym" is not a gym but overall, one of the best options available in Winnipeg.

The room was clean and comfortable but there was a lack of outlets. The staff was wonderful. The breakfast was horrible, dried out tasteless eggs, pancakes and toast. Sausage, ham and what might have been hash brown patties swimming in grease. There isn't a restaurant so lunches and dinners are not available. This place is okay for 1 night passing through but not for an extended stay.

There location was good. Downtown. Close to shops and restaurants. The rooms were fine. It was nice that they had coffee and tea and hot chocolate available in the lobby. Breakfast was adequate but left at to be desired.

The service at this hotel was very good. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. The room I stayed in was clean and well maintained. A bit warm and musty at first, though. The heater was pretty loud when it kicked in every so often. The mattress was very firm and quite bouncy. However, I still slept pretty well so I can't really complain. The common spaces like the hallways and elevators, basically anywhere you wouldn't expect to spend much time, need work. They desperately need vacuuming and look like the job hasn't been done in weeks. There was visible dirt covering the floors in these areas. The location of the hotel is very convenient in downtown Winnipeg. There is free parking but the lot is fairly small and probably fills quickly on busy nights. Overall, I had a decent stay at this hotel and would consider it again if I need lodging in Winnipeg.

Very friendly staff, very helpful. Room was good, a little bit worn down in areas like the carpet. So just don't expect a newly renovated room. Could hear the neighbors in the night thumping, and the heater could have heated the room better. But still a very nice room. Breakfast in the morning was good too.

This is a favourite place to stay. Amazing hospitality, friendly staff. Very clean and a great continental breakfast. It is close to many sites you may want to visit. The only negative is limited parking. But most of time it is not a problem.

On the outside, it doesn't look like much but location, price, and interior make this a good choice for a brief stay. Theom was very comfortable and clean. Bed, blankets, and pillows very comfy. Location is very central, walking distance to the human rights museum and the Forks. The breakfast was included and included hot items which is a bonus. Staff was friendly and overall we enjoyed our stay.

Only complaint I had was the parking when it's gets full you have to go to overflow which is across a busy street. But within walking distance from a lot of attractions. Never made breakfast. Quick check inn room was clean and front desk people very helpful and the guy working in the parking lot also. Will make this a hotel to come back too.

The front desk staff were friendly, the room was nice and clean. The reason I have 4 stars was there was not much parking in the main lot and there wasn't enough seating for the Continental breakfast in the morning. Other than that it was a great place to stay for a night. Nice as close to cool things in Winnipeg like the forks downtown.

The hotel is nice and appears clean, although a little dated. It is reasonably priced and includes a breakfast. The breakfast itself is very simple with only a few hot items. The public pool and hot tub was under construction and unusable, but they warned you on the website and during booking. The hotel is good if traveling on a budget.

We welcomed visitors to our city recently and recommended staying this hotel. Knowing it to be a newer hotel felt confident that our friends would have a safe, clean environment from which to be able to see the highlights of our city. At a supper outing with our friends I was shocked to hear that there positions had been stolen and that staff had been responsible for entering their room while they where out. I've since heard from others who have similar stories relate! Can't always judge a book by its cover I guess. I don't recommend that anyone stay there!

5th stay here, always a great time. Quiet, and included breakfast is nice. Staff are always SO nice, even the night staff who handled our late check in. Bonus is the 24/7 coffee and tea bar, it's unbelievably nice to come down in the middle of the night and have a selection of teas to make. Will be back!

The service is amazing. When booking rooms for our staff we use the Humphry. It has reasonable pricing, great staffstaff, and an ideal location.

The location and room are fine. The TV is not working and even though we brought it to the attention if the front desk it has not been fixed. The whirlpool and sauna are both out of service. The breakfast buffet is poor. Staff have been friendly.

It is an older but updated Hotel. On the cheap side but everything is clean tidy and neat. Typical floor plan, nothing exciting but well worth the price. The internet works very well and everything is in good repair. Finding this kind of quality at this kind of price is rare.

The facility itself was OK. There is a pool, hot tub, and a modest breakfast buffet that was included with the room charge. Parking was also included. The small fitness room had two treadmills and a cycling machine, no weights were available. What really made the difference was the staff. They were extremely friendly and helpful. They had a remarkably positive attitude that was infectious and helped brighten my day! The hotel provides excellent value and wonderful staff. I would stay there again.

We had a room on the sixth floor by the elevator. The room was clean and the hotel overall was pretty nice, but it does need some updating. For the price we paid, it was a good deal. The neighborhood wasn't the best, but they had a parking lot security guard which helped.

We stay here every year in summer for a convention. Its inexpensive, free parking and breakfast is included. They're very accommodating and Anthony one of the front desk people is always great.

I stay at the Humphry ever time I visit Winnipeg. The rooms are always clean, smell fresh, and the price is very fair. The front desk personnel and the parking attendants are always very helpful and polite.

Great front desk service. Room was clean and spacious for the price. Good location and parking was included, which is a bonus for its location. Only downside was slowish Wi-Fi but it was adequate for the time we were at the hotel.

Horrible hotel. All I ask in a hotel really is that "it is clean". The second we walked in our suite, it smelled like urine. I called the front desk and they promptly sent housekeeping to our room. She said she could not smell anything and asked me what I wanted to do about it. I said "we could switch rooms?. She said there were not any suites left for that night. She sent a cleaning person to clean the toilet and spray something. That didn't take care of the problem, so we had to live with the urine smell for two nights. Second, we were going to bed that night and noticed that my pillow had dirt and a fresh blood stain on the pillow. Did not look like the sheets had been changed either. Left a note on blood pillow for housekeeping in morning. Of course, no response. There are so many other nice hotels in Winnipeg, don't waste your time staying here.
