Went to grab something that fell and found this on my side of the bed. Like when was the sheets and bed cleaned last? 3 years ago? Should be done before the room gets used and at least daily. Just ewwww.

Careful booking a room from this place, been coming to this place for 18 years they decided to give our room away while we’re on our way to Winnipeg 6 hr drive to be told we didn’t have a room all of a sudden, Thx comfort inn.

I showed up at 4 and the lady put me on the second floor with a dog and a baby even though I had asked for a ground floor. No elevators so pretty difficult to manage taking the dog in and out with a toddler. Her response was were booked… I checked in at 4 and prepaid days ago for a room. It is extremely loud outside all night and had a dirty bathroom. Book elsewhere.

We used their park and fly option. It was cheaper and more convenient than paying for airport parking while we were on vacation. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly.

Nice hotel close to the airport, decent rooms, beds are comfy and showers are hot. Breakfast is nice, has bacon, eggs and hashbrowns and all the cereal and muffins you could ask for.

The room was clean and comfortable the staff friendly and helpful, but the ac was old and not very effective. The afternoon manager Debra was a delight. She did her best to help and assured us they were upgrading.

I should have known this wasnt going to go well when the front desk clerk put me on hold in person while she answered the ringing phone and made me wait 5 mins while she helped them. Just as she was getting off the phone another customer barged in front if me and complained about his room smelt like ciggarette smoke.
About 30 mins after arriving we finally got the jey to our room. Well we got our room and found the bed skirt had white drips on it, the sheets had been used and …not changed and pee on the toilet seat. Under close inspection this room was just so gross.
We asked the front desk for another room and they let us look at two other rooms and pick one. The other two rooms weren't clean either but we decided to stay in one. The second night we asked for our bedding to be changed and new towels. We received the new towels but all the bedding was the same from previous, I mean who knows how many people had slept on them. We had to ask for sheets and change them ourselves. Besides being very unclean most of the staff showed little worry about the situation except for one nice night shift front desk worker thanks to them we gmade our own bed with the sheets she provided. We were told the manager would be around in the morning when we checked out but she wasn't available once morning came.
Last time ever for us staying at Choice Hotels and we will be telling our friends of the worst hotel experience ever.

While the rooms may be a bit dated, you can not snub their great customer service! They went above and beyond for us and I strongly believe they would for any one of their guests. The location is great by the airport and they have special parking packages to accommodate you if you’re flying out of Winnipeg!

Breakfast was great! Pam was very welcoming and made sure all guests were happy with their meals!

The only good thing about this place is its affordability. Staff at the front desk has zero customer service. I was checked in by her while she was on a personal phone call with her cell phone. Never mentioned about free breakfast, Wi-Fi password and directions as where to go to our room, I had to ask for it while still on her cell phone. Best customer service at its finest. Lots of weird people hanging out on the premise so you feel unsafe. Thought of my car would be safe overnight but someone left a ding on my door. Too bad I had to stay 3 consecutive nights. I left 2 stars because our room is tidy and spacious to their defense. Overall experience relies on the first employee's interaction with a guest like us! I will surely not recommend anyone to stay here. You can find a better place rather than staying here for similar location and price.

Worst hotel ever bath tub full of hair top to bottom floor full of hair not vacuumed smoke detector battery pulled out curtains ready to fall off no security cameras out back. Shady people hanging around out back. My wife had her purse stolen out of room all of her I D jewelry and car keys. When complained got a thirty dollar discount. Would have rate this a no star if I had that choice. Never again.

Won’t stay here again. Much better rooms for same price elsewhere. Room was so-so clean. Furniture had some stains, what appeared to be mold in the bathroom shower (inside the shower tap), and immediately out our patio door was a huge disgusting heap of garbage obviously from pushing snow up. Not what I was expecting for $140. Also, when I first logged onto the Wi-Fi I mentioned the garbage in the survey they ask you fill in, nothing was mentioned when I checked out.

I am not impressed. The first women we dealt with at the front desk was so rude, and did not seem like she wanted to even bother helping us, we had room rates set up ahead if time and she would not honor it, she asked for something from me and I said oh I have never been asked for that before, and she got rude. If I don't feel a hotel needs personal info when the room is already put on a company credit card. Also if I am paying for a room for 4 days I shouldn't have to sign into the internet 5 or 6 times a day, I will be in the middle of doing something and then lose it all because of the internet. Makes it hard when you need everything you just lost for work. I really think it is time that you's rethink and maybe step up to the plate or just close down and take the loss! You're not worth the money anymore!

Great rooms with very decent price and great location very safe place quit and good food service available nice place.

The hotel wasn't very clean. They are pride that the hotel is 100% smoke free but it smells like ciregets as soon you enter the hotel. They never pick up if you call the front desk from your room.

For the purpose of spending the night it meets, but it does not count with the comforts of most hotels as an elevator. During my stay there was an altercation between guests and it was very incomfortable.

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. As soon as I walked in I found the women doing check in's to be very rude and demanding. I was unaware of the fact that if you don't have a credit card they would charge you more for damage and then demanded the money from me. I then went to my room and couldn't find something and phoned down to ask if I was able to get it and was told bluntly no and then hung up on. That night I went to go to bed and the sheets had blood on them. Once again phoned the front desk and asked for sheets and was never brought any so I had to sleep on the pull out couch that didn't have any sheets at all. The housekeeping then never even went into my room the second day all so once again nothing was done about the sheet. The next night was unable to even sleep as there was people fight in the halls and screaming and yelling to the point of the police being called. At check out when asked how my stay was I said honestly not very good and was told oh well thats too bad. Would not recommend this hotel at all.

The location is very convenient, good access to main roads, and obviously near the airport. Rooms are clean, beds are also fine. Has all the normal amenities. No gym, or pool, but a free hot breakfast, and a fair price. Staff are friendly and polite. I enjoyed my stay.

A few items from our hotel room have gone missing. Not impressed. We also asked to pay by debit card and they took money out of my partners credit card without asking and ending up charging us too much. Again, not impressed. The breakfast was until 9:30 and by 9:00 they have ran out of everything… what? Worst hotel I have stayed at. Thanks for nothing.

I arrived in Winnipeg at the airport for a funeral. This place was a dump. I booked on Expedia, I had to change hotels. Went to the Sandman. I lost my money, but I just couldn't stay at this place with the wife. I can't believe the Comfort Inn chain, would allow this. I guess the commissions they get back. I wouldn't give them one star. Don't be fooled it's a dump.

It's old, the carpets are badly stained and the entire place smells like cigarettes. Customer service and person's who cleans are very helpful and friendly, they made my stay a bit easier. I think they should charge less for that kind of motel. I would not call it a hotel.

Absolutely horrible. DON'T STAY THERE! We booked 1 night, as we were just passing through Winnipeg and didn't care much for luxury (arriving late, leaving early) . Front desk lady very nonchalant. The carpet in the stairs and hallway is disgusting. We walked into the room: it smells sooooo bad! The bathroom is dirty (hair all over the toilet — ew), the bed comforter has stains on it, the carpet looks like it's never been cleaned/vacuumed and the curtains have stains all over. We walked straight out and stayed at the Delta instead.

BED BUGS! After my second night in room 103, I woke up with red marks on my chest, shoulders and cheeks. I asked the front desk to switch me rooms and I showed them my marks. The lady at the front desk did not apologize, did not wonder what it was, it's obvious that she already knew. She gave me the key to room 223, and the next day I had itchy red marks on my arms, hands and behind my ears. COMFORT INN AIRPORT IS INFESTED WITH BED BUGS, if you are trying to save a few bucks, forget it, splurge a little and go to a decent hotel.

Carpets have dirty and have gum stuck on them. One lamp missing a bulb, other lamp is burned out, called front desk 3 hours ago, still waiting for bulbs. 8 pm and getting dark in here.

Rooms are spacious and nice. Breakfast is good too. Housekeeping is extremely poor. It is my 7th day in this hotel and for 7 days in a row I have had to call the housekeeping staff to do the room. Housekeeping intentionally skips those rooms where someone is living. I saw the staff doing a room where no one was living and then skipping my room on purpose. It has been happening from last 7 days. I have to go and tell them about the room number. This is happening in most of the rooms where someone is staying. housekeeping staff when comes in tries to run away as soon as possible by not doing their job well. Not using same hotel for future stays.

Fairly clean and comfortable beds, the bed spread was a bit dirty and the ice bucket was also but overall not bad.

Dropping my senior parents off from out of town for an overnight, before departing on vacation. The overwhelming stench of smoke permiated the lobby as we walked in! Once on the second floor, we found the room just fine and went inside. The room was freezing. It was as if the AC was left on from summer. My father proceeded to try and turn on the lamp in order to be able to see. The lamp didn't work. I followed the cord to the outlet to see if it was plugged in. The outlet was loose in the wall and came out when I pulled yhe cord to seenif was seated properly. The other lamp only had one bulb. The heater/AC stank like old dust and smoke once on. There was circular watermarks and greasy fingerprints on almost every surface. The room was not very clean. I wasn't staying there. I probably won't.

This place is a cesspool. Top 3 highlights: — Poo caked on the toilet — Blood stained towel, yeah that's right, blood stained towel… ugh! — While waiting in the lobby to check in a woman hopped down the steps wearing only a hoody to see if there was any food in the kitchen bar. I'm not making this up, you get what you pay for but seriously… AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE.

I was put up here in August 2015 by greyhound after a delay caused me to miss my connecting bus. The woman that checked me in was unsure of the procedure, although it may have helped a little if she took out her headphones and turned off the music so she could focus. The staff the following morning were very kind and professional. The complementary breakfast was good, however I was a little disappointed to see that there was no fresh fruit offered. I had a room on the second floor, it was clean and a nice size, however I did notice a slight smell of smoke when I entered the room. My biggest complaint is that there is no elevator at this hotel, meaning I had to haul my belongings up a flight of stairs, which would have been fine if I wasn't pregnant or if I had been travelling with my husband and had him to carry things. Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend this hotel to someone, unless they are unable to climb stairs.

Stayed at this hotel in Feb. 2014. It had a newly renovated breakfast room which was very nice. The beds were very comfortable and the staff at front desk we're very friendly and helpful. We were on 1st floor. We didn't notice any smoke smell as in other reviews. We really liked that they have a Park and Fly option. We've used them for about four years now and would recommend this hotel. Close to airport.

Horrible stay at this hotel. I couldnt imagine a more terrible hotel staff in all of Winnipeg. They were inexperienced (it took over 20 minutes to check me out) and in the morning they actually had me wait while they checked my room in order to get my damage deposit back. This is not how you treat business clients. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Wouldn't recommend it. There are some questionable stains and goop on the bedkirts. Guess I shouldn't complain too much. I decided to take a smoking room so I could be on the main floor. The smell is horrible! I don't think they've done a good cleaning of the walks and carpets for some time. I'm going out now to buy a scented candle to mask the odour.

I don't believe the patio door review and why would you not lock your door. I had room 146 and it was very clean and comfortable. My only complaint is 2 double beds and I prefer queen or king beds but they were sold out. I recommend this property and will stay here again.
