Very nice hostel. Super service, friendly and kind staff. It was absolutely worth the money. Even we could use the Whirlpool without paying extra. Next to the hostel is a pretty nice Corner-Shop and a Coffee and also bus stations are achievable in 2 minutes.

We stayed here during the 2018 Ironman event and got much more than we expected! We had a Wonderful experience, friendly people, extremely helpful and informative.
Geoff, the owner, suggested we take his patio chairs to the corner and cheer on our son, Dylan, during the Ironman bike course, which ran close to the hostel!

Probably the nicest Hostel I've stayed in till now. Clean, a small breakfast is included, a washing machine and dryer are available, nice big wooden balconies, beautiful neighborhood in Whistler's Alpine Meadows, 2 Bus stops in range of a 3 minute walk, The really nice Alpine Cafe is also just a 3 minute walk away and Geoff (the owner) is welcoming everybody with an open heart!

May have to change the way I Whistler after this stay. Consider myself lucky for stumbling upon this gem! They offer a Japanese style hot tub and steam room experience. Absolutely lovely place to relax, freshen up and meet like-minded folks for great stories and conversations :)

Lovely place! The staff and the owner are wonderful people and not to mention the dogs, totally adorable! Really glad I stayed there for the weekend.

Great place to stay. The place is clean and the staff are friendly. There is lots of communal space so a good place to meet new people. Spent 9 nights here and had a blast every day. Would recommend to anyone.

Really nice place. A short bus ride to lifts and the village. There is a hot tub and sauna/steam. Good seating everywhere. A cool giant porch. There is parking for six cars. Local restaurant two minutes away is another plus.

If you are looking for the facilities of a Hilton Hotel, this is not the right place. However, if you already planning your next trip, I highly recommend it. Great staff, good breakfast, clean, well located and beds are very comfortable. The sauna and jacuzzi is just a plus!

Attempted to book two beds through their website approx 1 month prior to arrival. The website only booked 1 bed due to availabillity, it was not clear that only 1 bed was available at the time. When I called to ask if I could be refunded for the 1 bed they informed me to e-mail instead of calling. I emailed multiple times and they completely ignored me. I paid for a bed at this hostel, never stayed there and was unable to get a refund due to there system errors with the online booking. Brad Maxwell.

Great accommodations overall. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Just a short bus ride into the village. If you're looking to stay in Whistler for a fraction of what hotels and air B&B charge, this lodge is ideal. The communal kitchen makes it even more cost effective if you're on a budget. The hot tub and sauna room were quite useful after a long day on the slopes. The rooms are cozy and there is a bathroom/shower to 4 people. The other guests were all friendly and down to earth during the week I was here. Highly recommend this Lodge.

Just got back from staying at the Alpine Lodge. All I can say is Geoff and his team went out of their way to ensure everything was great. They interacted with all guest and made was feel like we were family.
It felt like home away from home.
I would happily go back in a heartbeat.

Really nice place, easy to find and easy bus ride feom the village. Guests can be loud but is a backpackers.

A very homey hostel. The beds are large and comfy, the common rooms spacious yet cosy, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the Wi-Fi is good, they even have a sauna with a hot tub – everything one could expect, all for a very reasonable price for the Whistler area. Would recommend to anyone who doesn't mind sharing a room!

Owner is a great guy. Clean rooms, comfy beds and lounging areas. Kitchen for cooking. Overall nice hostel.

This place is mind blowing, you show up and the owner is so excited about your stories, as he has so many himself! He's also very happy to show you around (I would be proud to show off that place if I owned the hostel as well) I thought spending less would result in a less taken care of place but I assure you its better than a hotel that you pay more for. The owner lives beside the place and you give him a ring and he has everything to help you with. The bus stops there until about 3am (if you like to stay out during the night) and everything is very clean and you feel like mum is taking care of you as he makes sure you're completely comfortable before he heads off.

The owner was exceptional and made us feel so welcome. He is a really cool and well travelled dude with a lots of great stories about living in Japan Really, etc. Value for money was great and there's a really cute hot tub and sauna area. You can see the effort they put in and have a really cool little backyard bar area made out of old ski equipment and an amazing common room area that makes you feel like you have your own wee ski chalet to yourself. Awesome place and would love to return. One of the best hostels I've stayed in out of over 20 countries! All three of our group loved it!

Best hostel beds I've slept in! Charming place with friendly people! The staff is awesome as well as the owner geoff who is always there to take care of his guests! This hostel is close to whistler village! Come here you won't regret it!

Cosy and nice place. The facilities are clean. There is floor heating, a sauna, and a communal kitchen. The owners and very nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to visit Whistler and needing a place to stay!

Really nice owner. You ask, Jeff helps out. Good and friendly vibe. Clean hostel, nice breakfast. Big beds, big open fire. I'll know where to go when I pass by.

Owner was nice. You can come and go as you please. 45$ a night with a minimum 2 night stay. Next to nice cafe, grocery store and the bus stop. Sheets and towel provided.

Stayed there last week and we felt lucky to have found such a cool place. Rustic lodge feel, big open spaces, relaxed atmosphere, nice folks. Geoff (the owner) was a great guy. I highly recommend it to anyone considering a stay in Whistler.

Best place in Whistler! Honest, well kept, affordable, family operated.

Great place to stay if you are looking for an alternative to the more pricey choices in Whistler. Me and my friends had a room with two large bunk beds with access to our own shower and toilet. There is a small shared kitchen and a small breakfast is served every morning. The main area is huge and offers great possibilities for getting to know the other people living at the lodge. Jeff, the owner, is a friendly guy who has some good stories and life advises for your liking. Highly recommended place!
