Clean Hotel, great view out the front door. Missing amenities of later hotels (free forgotten toothbrushes, etc). Furniture and carpet in the room could use some updating. Overall good for a nights stay but not the best experience compared to other hotels.

Lodge is out dated and could use some TLC. Carpet is worn, sliding door to hot tub room is a force to close. The rooms although outdated as well were clean. The beds are comfortable. Price seems a little inflated for what you get but demand is what it is.

Great last minute find when you are rolling into town at 9pm and you have 8 adults and 2 dogs. We enjoyed the hot tub and hot chocolate once we were settled. The staff was friendly and thoughtful. Giving our 94 yr old great Grandma a first floor room right beside breakfast. We all took note of the name in case we are ever passing they again.

The hotel was good. Beautiful view of the mountains. My room was the very first room down the hall which was wonderful because I was travelling with 3 small children aged 5 and under. The breakfast area is small though and there was no high chair for babies. This is odd because they have playpens available. Overall it was a good stay and I'd stay here again.

Nice people but it's in really rough shape. Seems to be popular with people like oil workers, and train and road crews. I doubt many women would ever stay here.

This is a great half way point between British Columbia and Alberta. It wasn't a five star resort, but it certainly made up for it in comfort and value. Beds were very comfortable, room was spacious with 2 queen beds. Continental breakfast in the morning was great, a large variety of items to choose from. The staff were great as well, would definately stay there again on my next trip. Bring your BCAA card for a discount.

Great place to stay in the small town if Blue River. The staff are great and welcoming, especially the man working the night shift. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Awesome hotel with awesome service, rooms are very clean have a fridge, hot tub great after a day of sledding. Also pet friendly rooms.

Amazing service and super comfortable beds! Place is a little dated but that is what one would expect for the area. Would definitely stay again.

Large rooms, comfortable beds and decently clean though not spotless. Place was not busy on a mid Oct Sunday night. Despite having only a few guests they would not dicker on price. They charge the same $129 all in, as booking on expedia, who they then pay a 30% commision but they won't discount at the desk to try and fill more rooms even though it is nine at night and not busy. Heavily tatooed girl at the desk told me to stay elsewhere if I didn't like the fact they had no restaurant and only a cold continental breakfast. Told me the Sandman Hotel just up the road had a restaurant and hot breakfast for the same price. Had supper at the grill and it was excellent. I think I probably will try a different spot next time.

Not a bad place to park for a night. Friendly staff. Showers and rooms could use a renovation.

We had a very clean room. It was quiet. My 15 month old daughter had a good sleep.

Very good spot to stop on the way to Jasper. Very clean rooms etc and the ice machine worked well. Staff friendly. Breakfast was all you can eat and adequate. The air-conditioning wasn't working brilliantly and the trains were noisy. Blue River had more to offer than we expected, a lovely little lake where you can swim and the Bear River Safari where we saw two black bear cubs and a grizzly.

This hotel is $30 more than the hotel down the street. The breakfast was minimal. The rooms were clean. The Wi-Fi barely worked — I had to log back on every 2 minutes. Would not stay here again.

We had a room with three beds (normal room with an extra little twin squeezed in nicely). Breakfast, hot tub, easily accessible. Main complaint is that the Wi-Fi, named "glacial, " is accurately described by its name.

Loved the view, and the breakfasts.

Reception staff was great, rooms were a good size, rooms were clean, you get a good deal if you book right through the hotel if you are a snowmobiler.
