I love this restaurant the food is incredible of course they have an Irish chef, enough said, ambience perfection.

Chasters is a lovely restaurant with fabulous food and service! With an outdoor deck that looks out on the waters of Bonniebrooke Beach. Twice, we have seen whales dancing among the waves! The menu always features lovely specials, mostly freshly caught seafood! A must for visitors to the Coast, but as locals, we come there often in the summer months!

Great food, was expecting to eat again after I left the restaurant lol … nope filled me up and food was perfect soup was coconut ginger creamy soup, salad so yummy and beef tenderloin so yummy with just the right amount of veggies. Thanks for the great.

So very impressed with our meal last night, excellent presentation and delicious food. Pork belly appetizer was excellent as was the trout main on a bed of perfectly cooked vegetables. I highly recommend Chasters Restaurant can’t wait to go back.

The lamb was out of this world. Perfect medium rare and tender. Veggies were awesome as well. Nice little quaint atmosphere!

This place is by far the best restaurant in Gibsons. You will probably want to make a reservation before arriving. The restaurant has an elegant but relaxed atmosphere (let's just call it Coastal formal). The menu has few but perfectly executed courses. Is the type of experience that reminds you the difference between a great cook and a chef. You want to try something different? ask Bernie to pair your dinner with wines from his cellar.

We absolutely love staying at this beautiful and quaint lodge in Gibsons. The food is extraordinary and the service perfect. We are thrilled to have discovered this gem.

I took my wife here for our anniversary. The room had a view overlooking the ocean and the room was very clean with a hot tub. The bed was extremely comfortable and the Ambiance was worth the trip alone.

Beautiful setting, gorgeous view. The accommodations we immaculate and well equipped. The restaurant wasn't open when we stayed, which was unfortunate. We will likely return again.

It is a nice location with a view, isolated without any major traffic, perfect place to dine with the view of the beach and the ocean. The building is a nice restored heritage site.

An absolute must if you are a foodie. Great meal, great service and great beach front view.

Very nice and quaint B&B. Stayed here for a romantic anniversary. Room was very clean and the bed was lovely and comfortable. Natural gas fireplace, small balcony with ocean view. Front desk staff were very friendly. Nice Jacuzzi soaker tub. Very quiet, peaceful experience.

The overall atmosphere was very quaint, with a country charm. Dinner at Chasters was a delicious three-course meal comprised of asapragus soup with black truffle oil, pork tenderloin encrusted with porcini mushrooms and two delectable desserts. The service was outstanding and while still giving us the privacy of a romantic dinner.

Upscale accommodations with great access to the beach. Lots a places here to conduct memorable wedding scenes. Note that the restaurant is closed Monday and Tuesday, so food requests on these days won't be available.

Loved the room, the view, the food, and the service. Would definitely recommend and totally consider going back. Very happy with choosing to stay here!

5 stars all the way! Took a spontaneous trip here this weekend with our pooch and managed to get a garden suite at an amazing price. Right across from the water, immaculate rooms, amazing bathtub, food was excellent and service was kind and amazing. Totally recommend especially for those with pets. Super pet friendly place with a minimal charge for our Shepard.

The lodge is in a great location! A couple minutes drive to amenities in town, as well as a gorgeous view of the straight along the beach.

Had dinner at Chaster's. Most delicious meal I've had on the sunshine coast with delectable amuses bouches, amazing cod, and the most wonderful desserts. Great ambience also!

We stayed at the studio for 2 nights with our dog. The room is very new and cute. We loved the jacuzzi and the bed was very comfortable in our room :)

Wonderful location for a wedding. There is a large grass area next to the restaurant where you can have Gibsons Party Rentals put up a lovely tent for you. For larger weddings and events they also have a huge waterfront lawn across the street complete with facilities and electricity. The food is catered by there own Chasters restaurant and it is one of the best on the coast.

Feb 13 2016 went for the 4 course meal with my sweetheart and both of us thought the meal was very excellent. The staff where very friendly and did a good job serving. We will definitely be back and would recommend this awesome restaurant to everyone.

Valentines Day 2014 — A fabulous evening of dining at Chaster's. The appetizers, wine paring, salad, choice of main course and amazing desert all made in house. Spectacular service with a breathtaking view of the ocean and a wonderful sunset through the trees. It never fails to amaze.

My fiance wanted to take me somewhere special for my birthday. We work for the same company and our boss overheard him talking about his plans and suggested the Bonnie Brook Lodge. What a perfect weekend! Our jobs tend to get a bit stressful and we had been talking about trying to find a place that's relatively close to Vancouver and yet nowhere near the city. This definitely fit the bill. After a beautiful under two hour trip, we arrived in our suite. We were taken to the Ocean View West suite and I was impressed with the nice little things that the owners had done to make it welcoming. They had set the TV on a quiet music station — a little thing that made us feel just that much more welcome. We spent three days/two nights relaxing in cozy robes and slippers, soaking in the huge jacuzzi and walking along the beach. In the evenings we curled up in front of the fireplace, listened to music and talked while we watched the ocean from our room. We were also impressed at how quiet the suite was. Apparently every room was booked for the weekend and we could hear other guests when we were outside of our suite but the second we closed the door we didn't hear much at all. There is a stream on the west side of the lodge and we loved falling asleep with the windows open to listen to that — that's the only noise we really heard! The bed was incredible too. The tranquility bedding had both of us raving and we actually took naps just to curl up in that gorgeous bed in the afternoons.
