Terrible service and no flexibility! Asked for 30 minutes for late checkout (to 11.30am) after staying here for 8 days (my daughter was still skiing and since the hills just opened that day to the Public, they were running a bit late! ) — the front desk absolutely not. But the ironic and unprofessional part is she said absolutely no late checkout because of Covid (which I appreciate) but then said she could give me late checkout for $25 + tax. Crazy!

The incredible staff. So caring, compassionate and patience as I had an anxiety attack while checking in and couldn't talk. She even called to check up on me and make sure I was settled.

I booked a romantic staycation for my husband and I for our anniversary tonight. I was nervous about the Covid situation but I called the hotel reservation desk directly (not through a booking service) and spoke to a very helpful woman who went over everything they are doing to protect the safety of their guests. Including verbally ensuring at check in that no one is exhibiting any symptoms or has anyone at home that is.
Well we woke up this morning and both my girls are sick. First week of school.

Friendly staff, nice clean rooms, pet friendly. Will come back again.

Beautiful rooms and amazing staff. I have to give a shout out to the amazingly helpful and sweet front counter staff. Unfortunately I didnt get her name but the lady with the english (? ) accent is great.

Feeling very lucky to be a future Bride at the Sun Peaks Grand & Sun Peaks Resort. Through these uncertain times they have been nothing but sincere and accommodating. The wedding planners have been working so hard to keep my mind at ease and help my wedding dream come true. There are still so many unknowns at this point, but I am confident that when my my day is here, it will be absolutely perfect ❤️

We are currently here for our 2nd wedding anniversary and it’s been wonderful! The hotel staff surprised us with a delicious box of chocolates and sparking wine. The rooms are beautiful renovated, and the view is beautiful!
Definitely will be coming back next year! Thanks for making it special!

Ayden in the restaurant was out of this world. This individual went up and beyond for my wife’s vegan gluten request. Brian, B-Man in the bar was the coolest experience we’ve ever had in a resort truly amazing.

Really love the staff and how friendly everyone is during our stay. Mantles Restaurant Manager Kevin made my morning with making me laugh and kick starting my day with a complimentary delicious to go coffee. Much needed!

We held our Wedding at Sun Peaks February 16th 2019, we cant thank you enough. The day was wonderful just what we had hoped for. Special thanks to Faith who helped coordinate our special day at the hotel & worked wonderfully with all the vendors we had hired & a special thanks to Rob & his team for doing an amazing job with the catering for the wedding. Everyone had a great time & loved the day. Thank you for providing a great place & setting for our wedding.

Everything is really nice, the staff, the food, the rooms.

The location of this hotel is great, overall it is very good. However, we were welcomed to the room with a layer of dust on the pillows and along the top of the mattress. The dirty corners of the carpet along with the dusty pillow were rather off putting but once I cleaned the pillows myself it was OK but I don't expect this level of dirt for the price we pay. Our 3 night stay was pleasant, large room, nice view, well equipped, modern bathroom, room is classic lodge style so not modern but that's OK. Staff were friendly, facilities were decent. Pool and hot tub very nice. I had a nice birthday getaway here, shame about the one day of smoke which wasn't very pleasant. Parking could be included into the hotel rate rather than at a premium. Otherwise a pretty decent hotel.

Reasonable stay at this hotel. Room outdated but the hotel are advertising a planned refurb. Friendly & accommodating staff. Good facilities on site (laundry room etc). Complimentary lift pass given to facilitate hiking. $15 per day charge for parking.

Visited Summer 2018. Good quality accommodation and great food. Nice pool with views and reasonable shopping. However hotel is quite a long way from the main road so a long way to drive if passing through, plus resort has very little character.

I am doing a trip around Canada and decided to go to sun peaks instead of Clearwater, a little but closer to where I was previously but sun peaks looked very nice and I decided to visit. First of all, I though the room was lovely — really spacious and nicely furnished, the beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was nice and there was a little desk to write at. The whole atmosphere of the place is very calming and relaxing. It is definitely a resort because just outside the hotel there is lots of shops to visit and places to get food and ice cream! However, after eating in the restaurant myself, I think the restaurant in the hotel was very nice too. The pool was a very nice touch. It started indoors with a very shallow small pool and you could swim outdoors through a little gap. The pool itself was very big outside and nice to go swimming in when the evening comes, or late afternoon. I only stayed for a night but I think staying for a week or longer would be a little bit boring. I don't think you would want to stay here for very long in summer because you can't really go skiing when there's no snow, but in winter I'm sure it's much better. I have one more thing to say about it — the parking is very expensive. I thought that fifteen dollars per night was way too expensive! Overall I think this is a lovely place, a pretty hotel and atmosphere, great for foodies and ice cream, but don't stay for too long in summer. Hope this review gave you some good info about sun peaks!

Elegant and lovely hotel. Pleasant and helpful staff. Rooms are a bit dated but clean and in good repair. Renovations are starting very soon. Pool is small but we'll maintained. We had an excellent stay. Atmosphere is very different in the summer but we enjoyed the quieter village and beautiful scenery. Come for the outdoor hiking and biking.

We had our wedding at the Grand on June 23 and it was perfect. From check in to check out, everyone was friendly and welcoming. Kaitlyn and Faith were so fantastic to work with and made sure the day went smoothly for us. The room and view was stunning and family and friends are raving about what a beautiful place it was. We will be back for sure!

You can’t get any better than this ski in ski out — or dont ski. Sit in the one of three spas overlooking the ski fields. Nothing better than a warm bath with cold snow falling. Super comfy rooms — amazing views to watch kids ski past the window! Reasonably priced. Excellent service. Thanks guys one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed! The only thing missing were bubbles in the outdoor spas.

The epicentre of Canada’s alpine village, this place remains atop the list of ski in/ski out luxury accommodation. Mantles restaurant and Morrisey Public House have an excellent menu and atmosphere. Main pool area is deluxe and auxiliary pool areas are private and cozy. Shops galore and a nearby market provide all the essentials. Truly a remarkable vacation destination.

Very noisy hotel. Paper thin walls. Could hear people in other rooms talking. The hidabed mattress was pretty much springs and a bed sheet. The underground parking does not allow vehicles with roof ski/luggage carriers. This is a skihill… come on!

Stayed here on a Scenic tour, great food, lovely staff and our room was nice with a king bed and plenty of room. Sun Peaks Grand is within walking distance to shops and a cold beer. Would stay here again, very enjoyable.

Probably the nicest place to stay on the mountain. Had a few hotel issues that were resolved quick and to a high standard. Awesome stay.

Mediocre visit. Came here for a conference and the food served for our buffet was underwhelming to say the least, with long wait times between them replacing empty dishes! Hotel manager Corinna needs a major attitude check when addressing noise complaints. Customer service should ALWAYS BE FIRST even in times of controversy. If a conference is an issue for fellow guests, then why are we not all booked into the same area of the hotel instead of spreading us throughout the entire building? Thoughts for the future, though I doubt we'll be returning. Rooms are old and smelly, but the beds are updated and very comfortable. Front desk staff are exceptional.

Beautiful lodge. Great location… 5 minute walk to Sun Peaks village and slopes. Fabulous home cooked breakfast and sufficient afternoon tea. Extremely obliging staff that make every effort to make your stay very pleasant.

Room old in need of renovation. Very expensive breakfast. Actually a pity.

Good place to grab a drink, bit of an older crowd. Not a whole lot of choice for appetizers but there is a menu none the less. Service is ok, could be better.

Great location in the village and proximity to the ski lifts. This was my first experience with a hotel ski/board check room, which was absolutely wonderful. The outdoor hot tubs (three! ) were an odd idea at first but so great after a long, cold day on the mountain. Will definitely use them again! I didn't give them 5 stars because the hotel restaurant was just ok, breakfast buffet was mediocre.

We had a pleasure of hosting our wedding on top of the mountain at Sun Peaks, followed by dinner reception at Mantles restaurant. Our awesome planner Kaitlyn ensured every detailed was looked after, from loading the guests onto the chairlift to the wedding ceremony site on top, to fantastic apps and drinks post ceremony at Sunburst lodge on top, to the dinner reception. We were happy with absolutely everything! We also enjoyed our stay at the Grand and would highly recommend it to anyone!

Disappointing stay at this hotel over the Family Day Long Weekend, but I live in Kamloops and I am a Sun Peaks Pass holder. It is pretty clear to me that this resort and hotel cater only to "tourists" and they treat their "locals" very differently. I have stayed at this hotel a fair amount, but I have never stayed over a long weekend, so I know the service is different this time. On check-in the Staff admitted to me that the hotel jacks their prices by about $100 a room for long weekends. The discount I got with my Sun Peaks Pass was not my usual discount, AND a BCAA discount (for tourists) was better/more than the discount for Sun Peaks Pass holders I just went to enjoy shot tub as the lovely outdoor pools are usually open at 7am. However, a maintenance person at poolside said that they had just emptied all the pools and added chlorine because it had been so busy the night before so all poo look s were closed. I asked why the pools weren't emptied and re-filled overnight as they had been closed since 10pm last night? His reply was something like, "Not enough staff and everyone is checking out this morning so the tubs don't usually get used much on the Monday of a long weekend. " Crappy and disappointing service… In fact, HORRIBLE service! Font waste your money.

We stayed here a few times. Every time it wasn't good. Rooms are need to be renovated due to molded bathrooms, badly stained carpet, smell in rooms & staff needs to response better for guests' inquiries. Last time sheet on the bed had blood on it so I asked them to change it in the early evening but I got a call back about 10 pm asking did I get service. I was so tired & too late so I told I will move it by myself. When we checked out nobody asked how wad ot or said sorry about the blood stained sheet.

I was here on a weeklong trip to ski with a large group (almost a hundred of us) of people, the hotel was amazing and very accommodating to our group. Sometimes it's difficult to keep such a large group in check but despite our requests they were more than polite about some who were a bit more than excited. The rooms were clean and equipped with all that we needed and in a very convenient location right by the lifts! I couldn't have asked for better place to stay!

The staff are nice enough but I can’t believe how disgusting these rooms are and it’s an oven. My room I’m sitting and sweating in is 80 degrees. The AC is off they can’t cool it down. No one cares that this place is gross and old. I will never stay at this dump again. Beds are uncomfortable and bathrooms are so dirty. Glasses look like many people with lipstick use them over the years without washing.

A beautiful wonderland, lots of activities to do in the area. Great suites with hot tubs to enjoy after a busy day enjoying the powder. Only downside is we put in a work order to maintenance as our door was broken in our suite and they weren't able to fix it during our 4 night stay.

We had a lovely stay at Sun Peaks Grand. Our room was spacious and clean and the staff were friendly. Mantles restaurant had a great breakfast buffet. The public spaces were beautifully decorated for Christmas. We will definitely return!

Nice upscale hotel with views over looking the magic carpet and plater lift. The outdoor pool is nice, while the restaurant has a certain relaxed and cozy atmosphere. The lobby bathrooms are very well decorated.

Excellent venue. Rooms are very nice and reasonably priced. Restaurant was also very good. We will definately be back!

The fireplace in the room was so charming. The staff was very helpful and we were just steps away from the start line to our race. The indoor access to the shops was fabulous and the jacuzzi was very cool being right out there and being able to view the sites.

Apologies, but I did not stay for long at this location. I was just traveling through. But I really enjoy all of sun peaks and all of what it has to offer. Very impressed with the services and attractions.

I went in the summer hoping it would be like whistler. Unfortunately the resort is pretty dead. There were a few mountain bikers going down some cool runs, but overall seemed like the resort was open during the summer because it could. Recommend coming for skiing or during the winter for the best experience. If you do come in the summer I recommend taking the chairlift up the mountain to see the view.

Awful. Techno music thumping through our room right now. We've got our baby and 4 year old here and can't get any sleep. 11:30 now, music continues to vibrate through the obviously terribly insulated ceiling. Constant vibration of floor and loud noise keeping my kids awake. Called front desk to complain, volume of music remains the same. Now actually getting louder. Update: 12:30, still going. Staff has done nothing to resolve this, was offered a "call back " when problem was resolved, that was an hour ago. Pathetic.

My Bride and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary at the Sun Peaks Grand and had the opportunity to attend the Trooper concert on the hill. Everything was great. The room was clean, the music rocked. The staff was friendly and helpful. The view from the balcony, overlooking the ski hill was gorgeous and the weather couldn't have been better… what a great recipe for a fabulous weekend. Thanks for a good time.

Great hotel. It has an outdoor pool and three hot tubs, a gym, spa, and restaurant. We also brought our cat and they are very nice about it. The room is clean and basic. They provide Neutrogena soap and shampoo, conditioner, and lotion.

Staff was friendly and room was very clean. Great view from our balcony. Room service food was adequate, much better to just eat down stairs. Parking is not free for guests. Strongly recommend.

Very beautiful, a lot of necessary leads. Petition can expensive but it's not a surprise because it's sun peaks.

Location is beautiful, however we had hoped to get a slope side room instead of a view of the next building. Room was decent with a very comfortable bed, however the sound proofing isn't the greatest. Unfortunately we heard our neighbors quite well. You have to pay $13 for parking which was a disappointment, but it seems to be more common nowadays. The restaurant was very good for dinner and went to a cafe in the village for breakfast. As it is off season there wasn't much open, but that was expected. We went to the spa and had a lovely girls getaway package. Overall it was a nice stay.

Everything was great, beds were comfortable, rooms were cleaned and towels were replaced frequently. The only problem I had was with the restaurant, but that's a whole other review.

Was there for a conference. Very open floor plan and plenty of meeting rooms. Restaurant downstairs is pricy but good!

The location was great, nothing beats ski-out if your intention is to snowboard or ski. The rooms were great and the service was superb — no complaints at all.

Can't beat the location of this hotel. Ski in and out! The ski valet and attached rental and equipment servicing shop are awesome if you need to rent skis or get then waxed! Rooms are nice and comfortable.

Another great stay at the Grand. This is a solid 4 star hotel. They put us in the wrong room but a quick phone call and all was made right.

Love the indoor pool. The most luxurious hotel in Sun Peaks but that makes it kind of pricey. Steps away from chairs!

Not good. 19:00 to check in, a name is David's reception is training new guy and arranged for us to the hotel end of the room. Dragging heavy luggage through the more than 90 rooms. When we came downstairs to dinner, I noticed some people to check in, that is to say there still some rooms available that they could selected, but the front desk arranged for us to the end of the room, sad thing is my mom is 60 years old and suffer the arthritis. But the night shift front desk lady (two beautiful women) is very nice and give me some useful advice.

Great pool and one of the nicer hotels at sunpeaks.

Love this hotel! all the staff are so friendly, especially one young man in particular. A young man at the front desk named Mackenzie went above and beyond to make sure l felt comfortable, after a long trip this was very appreciated. Way to go Sun Peak! :)
