Very nice place… I would recommend it… Great shower (has power…) … staff is great and very accomodating. Good place to be.

Stayed during the forest fires for a rest night. Basic hotel there are a few places around to eat and buy booze. Great that they had a pool. For a stop over I would stay again.

Place is thoroughly cleaned & Employee's are more than happy to help & very pleasant! Great location & lot's of Amenities near by as well.

This motel was clean and very friendly they also allowed small dogs which was perfect for us. I will be going back.

We are from Nanton AB, we stayed here very nice and clean rooms peaceful. People of Barriere were very nice and pleasant, made you feel very welcome.

Great value for the price. Nice outdoor pool. Rooms are older but decent sized. Very hot water. For the price I would stay here again.

A simple and comfortable place to stay. Don't be fooled Barriere is a central hub for so many places! And on top of the fishing and walks there is an amazing ice cream place a moment's walk away!

Value-for-money. Fuss-free rooms, and quite clean. Rooms are quite big and they offer a good variety of rooms. Straightforward check-in and check-out. Only thing is that there is no kettle, and nowhere to get hot water.

Decent place. It's clean, spacious and has facilities. Just that the room smelled slightly funny.

My family home was destroyed by a fire. The staff are amazing and helped our family. The rooms were clean and lots of supplies for all our needs.

Monte Carlo Motel was old fashioned, with keys and an outdoor pool. It was near Station House, a fantastic restaurant. The Wi-Fi was strong, but weaker at night. The AC was kinda loud and the room had the weird motel smell, but the service was great!

Great economical bang for your buck. Hugo (front desk) is a straight shooter :) Tell him what you need & he'll accommodate if he can. We showed up last minute with 2 large breed dogs. He politely stated they would be welcomed so long as not on the beds & pick up after them by walking them behind his property. Didn't indulge in the outdoor heated pool (should of as it was +32 outside) however plenty of hot water for showers. Old loud a/c units but effective. Rooms are small but clean. Great spot to lay your head. We'd come back in a minute! Thanks Hugo!

Nice rooms and reasonable rates, but Wi-Fi cuts in and out.

We stay here as often as possible. The rooms are comfy and cozy and wonderful place to end a day of driving.

Affordable, clean and awesome. We had a very late check in, and the front desk guy was very cheerful even though we obviously just woke him up. We rented the suite (a queen/double, a single and futon). The suite was very cute and had a full size fridge, stove & microwave. The bathroom was a good size. Good bang for your buck… Speaking of bucks there also was a young buck in the front grass having a bed time snack. Would stay here again in a heart beat.
