The Katz, have owned it for years and are some of the nicest people you'll meet. Stay there when I am in town.

Great place to stay with friends. The hot tub is a joke though, you have to call owner to heatr it up and it's tiny hope you and your friends are close because you will be after getting in this thing.

Fine motel if you don't mind giving up some usual amenities. Rooms are surprisingly large!

Room I stayed in was huge. Back sliding door to let in fresh air. Shower was also good. Would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here in the fall. Manchester was beautiful, right outside the room is a great view of the mountainside. This is a 5 minute drive from the center of town. The room was nice but outdated, with a mild smell of mildew. It was what I expected for the price. Has a fridge, and pool in summer.

I really enjoyed my stay here I would stay here again in a heart beat They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome! Thank you.

This is an excellent small motel. My son and I stayed here while hiking the Vermont Appalachian Trail in May 2017. My wife and I stayed here in September 2017. The rooms are big, particularly the ones in the Annex, which have two beds. The staff is very nice, particularly the front desk attendant, Montana. The value is very good for Manchester!

The manger there is nothing but cranky old man that mean and causes issues under pays his empolyees I wouldnt go to this hotel if my life demended on it.

Room was nice and very clean. Pet friendly room and didn't smell like dogs or anything. Did not have microwave but had fridge. Coffee and toiletries in room. Even had a seeing kit. Friendly service. A beautiful view. Was very pleased. Would recommend and will return.

We make reservation for one night — we had a wedding in Vermont. Did not expect anything, just to put our head after long day in a clean place. BUT We got welcome with a smile, got perfect clean room with all the accessories we did not expect (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, makeup remover … etc…) Peace and quiet — perfect pace. Road trip with sister and just needed a place to sleep but stumbled on this jewel. Definitely going to try and return during the winter.

This was the worst place I have ever stayed in. My mother and I were in town looking for a campsite. It was around 9 pm and we literally just needed a place to sleep for the night. We payed $120.00 plus tax to stay in a room with crappy cable, a king sized bed we had to share, and a terrible bathroom which I will talk about next. There wasnt much that was bad about the bathroom other than my showering experience sucked royally! There was no water pressure and it shut off while I was conditioning my hair. (I did manage to turn it back on. ). The pool "opens" at 10 and check out is at 11. The reason I say "opens" is because the guy behind the counter didnt open the damn pool we spent $120 expecting we would be able to use it. Everything else is across the street down quite a ways including the ice machine. Overall I would rate my stay on an unconfortable, springy, back ache infested matress at anything below 1 star if possible.

Nice Vermont atmosphere with beautiful views with tons of great places to eat within walking distance. Easy to go down the hill to the main outlet center of town and only 15 minutes to Bromley.

Hi on our journey to visit Vermont we stayed here. Pam and Seth are warm loving people who care about making their guests feel comfortable and at home. We stayed two nights and would have loved to stay longer. The room was very clean and the two of them were very accommodating to our needs. They took the time to engage in pleasant conversations with us and giving us the assurance that when we come back to visit Vermont possibly in the fall we will come back to the Chalet because of Pam and Seth and their friendly warm demeanor. I stayed here while stranded in Vermont. I got the "closet" room, it was $20 less a night than the rest, it was very very small, but it was better than sleeping on the road or in the woods (I guess? ).
