Very nice hotel, even though it was being renovated you’d barely of noticed.

Found the place lovely to stay in. We had 4 deaths last year each time we stayed there. The employee were great to us a very hard times.

My daughter and I stay here every time we’re in Fernie. Love it! It’s like home. Wonderful people.

We recently had our family reunion at the hotel, would highly recommend it. The staff bent over backwards for us, the catered group meals were fantastic and the prices were amazing. Having the pool/hot tub right there was super handy for everyone and the meeting rooms right off the lobby were perfect for our group. Shout out to Jennifer Whitelaw for helping set everything up. A+++ Park Place Lodge!

We were excited about a nice place to stay but wow the highway ruins it on the one side. So disapointed why have a balcony on this side when its constantly huge trucks going by, not relaxing at all.

Had a problem with our room early morning. I have to say that the problem was resolved to our complete satisfaction without any hassle. The restaurant manager, I didn’t get her name, was absolutely helpful in everything she did for us and couldn’t have apologized more. This is a lovely hotel, very clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant is top quality at a great price. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay at the Park Place Lodge again and would not hesitate in recommending the hotel to anyone. 5 star ⭐️ service.

Easily my favourite pub in town! Other than the legion, the only place in town with 2 pool tables. Amazing staff. Great food. I just love this place!

Excellent hotel, very comfortable. Indoor pool and hot tub are great. Breakfast at the in house restaurant was amazing!

I wish I hadn't gotten in at midnight. Reception was nice. Check in was fast, but the entire town of Fernie seems to shutdown around 2200hrs. Finding late night food was a challenge; the only thing still open at 1130 was 7-11, but they were well stocked with their hot food offerings (fried chicken and toquitoes, anyone?! ) and had quite the line up. I take it it's a regular experience. Perhaps someone local can amend my food experience. The hotel itself was nice. Bed was comfortable, linens were fresh, washroom was clean. No one complained about us bringing mountain bikes into the suite, so that was a bonus. Came with vouchers for reduced cost for breakfast at the attached restaurant. Much nicer than continental breakfast.

Beautiful hotel! We were so lucky we got to stay here it was hard to find hotel rooms in Fernie on such short notice. The staff is amazingly friendly. The pool and hot tub are wonderful. The view from our deck was nice and there is a pub and a liquor store in the hotel. Very close to lakes and a park right across the street! I would love to stay here again.

Myself and my clientele used to frequent the restaurant weekly sometimes more so. Have not gone for a couple months now. As about 6 months back the food would take forever to come, orders were always wrong and at times service was not good. At one point when my order was wrong I decided to say something I quietly called over the server to tell her and she snapped at me. I'm sure she wasn't having the greatest day and she apologized profusely. Another time three of us ordered the special which was a wrap. Mine came and was missing a few items so I told the server and she quickly apologized took it back. When she brought it back the wrap was all apart and there was red peppers just thrown about. Another time they had a special with chicken and bacon. One of us was missing the bacon the server apologized and said that they had ran out of bacon! So it might have been a good idea to tell us that beforehand. I'm not really one to do something like this but the food and service there used to be so great. It was one of the best places to go to relax and enjoy a good meal and have great service. It's not a place I would recommend at this time. Pretty disappointed.

Off the main highway and within walking distance to many resteraunts. Has a pool, hot tub, onsite restaurant/bar, offsale, and fitness room. Room I stayed in had a small kithenette with sink, microwave and fridge. Some might not like the chlorine smell of the centrally located pool and hot tub.

Charming hotel downtown Fernie. Decore evokes the 70s in a lovely warm way. You can't not have a view of the mountains!

Cold Beer & Wine store was open late and Staff lady was friendly and helpful with selection process advice.

Love the hot tub, love the food at the restaurant and pub, love the comfy and spacious rooms! The only downside, is sometimes it’s very noisy on the first floor, poolside, but it never goes past 10pm. My boyfriend and I stay here every time we are in Fernie!

Whenever I come to visit my family in Fernie we always make it a priority to have lunch at the Park Place Lodge restaurant because they have the best gravy and french fries in the world. To continue the tradition I decided to take my mum for lunch during my latest visit. We arrived in the restaurant and were immediately met with a stand offish attitude from our waitress Victoria. After she seated us near the kitchen she went around the corner and proceeded to complain to the kitchen staff about us. Considering we were within ear shot of her complaints this obviously ruined our lunch. Feeling very uncomfortable we decided to bring the issue up with the front desk person. Her name was Kelly and she was very helpful and very sweet. She helped us resolve the issue and assured us that she would follow up on it. Overall the Restaurant and hotel are great and I would recommend it to anybody.

I have to say I've been hear since Wednesday and I'm leaving tomorrow, this is the best hotel I've stayed in and bring a commercial driver I've stayed in a lot of hotels. The rooms are huge, spotlessly clean, the staff are like the women out of the film "The Stepford Wives " and men. It's just a lovely friendly run hotel. I could go on but there's no point, Going to come hear for a ski trip with my family and stay at this hotel.

Great place to stay in Fernie and still be close to everything downtown. Having a courtyard inside the hotel with a pool and hot tub makes it a fun relaxing stay. The many times I have visited this hotel, it has always been a good experience.

I really liked the room, great space and view from the deck. The pool had chandeliers I really wanted to swing on like Sianice hot tub too. And an excellent restaurant, I'd definitely stay here again.

Absolutely a fantastic hotel that went above and beyond for my family. Five stars is not enough. Comfortable beds, nice clean rooms, fantastic breakfast, and friendly staff.

Room was too hot, lots of clanging in the kitchen below us. Quite a few rules as well. Otherwise everything was clean and very nice. Pool and hot tub were alright as well.

The room was big and comfortable. The food was amazing at the hotel and the restaurants across the street. What a wonderful surprise to have gourmet food in this little town. The shuttle bus that stopped at the hotels and brought us around town was very helpful. It allowed my family to have different ski schedules. It only took 15 minutes to get to the ski hill with the convenience of this bus.

Nice and personable staff, clean rooms, comfortable rooms, beds, and chairs. Very quiet and relaxing time here.

Food was good, but pricey for a lunch.

Nice hotel being run on a budget. The interior was painted in a single monotone offyellow paint (bought on sale in bulk? ). The couch in our room had what looked like knife holes in the armrests. The bed pillows are these large very uncomfortable sausage shaped tube things. No regular pillows. When we commented to the staff the next day about the pillows, the reaction was sympathetic. We pressed a bit and they told us the owner (s? ) were aware but weren't going to go to the expense of replacing them. Best Western next time I'm in Fernie.

Clean rooms, free Wi-Fi and polite staff. The hot tub was way too hot! Classy decor.

The Pub is routinely a stop on our itinerary when we travel through Fernie. Great location, great beers, good food. Yet to disappoint!

We have stayed there twice. When I was booking the room for our second stay I told the person this was to be our second time and she went out of her way to be sure that we got a room that we requested and she made sure we had chairs for the balcony. Awesome view of the mountains for an awesome place! Would definitely stay again and would recommend it to anyone.

The rooms always are clean. The restaurant and pub have good food and good people. And nothing can beat that view from the front balcony.

Neat hotel. Reasonable rates. Large Clean rooms, bed was very comfortable. Nice big pool, my boys spent alot of time playing in the pool. Had a beautiful mountain view from the large balcony. Staff was friendly. Would stay here again and recommend to family and friends.

This place is beyond amazing. I stayed there for a couple of romantic occasions with my soon to be wife. I must say nothing was left to desire. The rooms we stayed in were very nice. Some of the most restful sleeps I have ever had. The views are amazing, breathtaking even. The staff are friendly and the services are many. The hotel's decor definitely reflects the 4 stars it has earned. We will stay there again! While there, one must also try the restaurant nearby as it offers some tasty meals. Rooms are clean. Pub has good beer. What else do you need.

Had a great room with a great view, reasonably priced, good breakfast friendly staff.

The Park Plus hotels provided us all with all the amenities necessary for a conformable stay. The hotel is set up like a motel, with most of the rooms facing inwards toward the wonderful pool and hot tub located at the center of the facility. The rooms were clean and comfortable, as were the beds. My only gripe was the lack of smaller pillows since it ended up giving me a neck strain (although the ones they had were conformable). Thank you for the stay.

Stay here multiple times every winter for sledding and skiing. Amazing hotel with great staff and great rooms. While staying there we dont go anywhere to eat but Max the food is amazing, Like really amazing and the staff are very friendly. The pub is a great place to after a long day on the mountain. Cant wait to see you in a week. Thanks.

Stopped in for dinner, drinks and trivia night. Had a good time, they serve some local fernie beers and the steak sandwich is pretty hard to beat.

This hotel was fantastic! The Pub had great food and good local beer on tap. The Max had great breakfast with home made muffins and bread. The eggs were cooked perfectly to order. The room had great amenities and the indoor pool and hot tub were nice apres ski. Overall was pretty impressed with the whole experience. I'd recommend ear plugs if you're a light sleeper and on the bottom floor. Better beds and less poofy pillows would have brought my rating to a 5.

Funny place… no respect for privacy. Was here for few days had do not disturb sign on door… (only for a day as work late and sleep late as well) saw a notice says that housekeeping has to check the room every second day (welcome to boot camp…) … like you are stealing their cheap stuff… housekeeping starts rolling their extremely noisy carts since quite early in the morning… there is quite noisy traffic on road 24/7 and housekeeping fills in the rest to make sure you are awake all the time… horrible place with funny work practices… stay away from this place…

This place is unofficially called "the Mill" for a reason. It chews people up and spits them out. Although the owner of the housekeeping business that the hotel had contracted out to was fairly nice, her "second in command" would scream at you for trying to help her, (she would also scream at you if you didn't). And after literally running non-stop for 9 1/2 hours straight in 30 degree heat, without so much as a sip of water or anything to eat; when the head housekeeper finally allowed that you could have water and a little candy on your cart to sustain you while you continued to work/run at top speed; one of the family members who owns the building would then yell at you in front of a packed restaurant for "eating on the job". I was routinely lectured by one of the other family members on how we should be able to go without eating for over twelve hours because we "would not die". If you stay there, double check your bill. If you have the misfortune of working there, double check your pay stub.

We stayed here for a family wedding in August 2014 and were extremely surprised by the beautiful hotel complete with indoor pool, hot tub in a central courtyard. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. Rooms were very clean and spacious. The pub was great — love the Fernie beer! Walking distance to downtown a plus.

Park Place is an AWESOME place to stay. It's warm, clean, and comfortable and the staff provides excellent service. You will definitely enjoy your stay here. :).

Decor is outdated and while enjoying a lunch served by excellent staff at their restaurant I could hear the manager screaming at her staff. What a disgrace.
