Overall great experience we get the top floor as way from the elevator.

We were waiting for a RV repair and ended up staying 3 days. The staff were very accommodating and friendly going out of their way to help us out in an upgrade as we had two teen boys with us and it was a tight squeeze. The pool area was an added bonus. Free breakfast and water at front entrance is a nice touch. Highly recommend!

After staying 3 nights at the Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott, Not only would we never recommend this hotel to anyone but we cannot believe how unsafe their pool area is. Their employees have zero consistency between their pool rules from one allowing a mother and a nine month old to go down the water slide, to the next not allowing a four-year-old to go down on her father's lap. We do not care if you are or are not allowed to go down the pool, a child can understand si…mple rules. But having to explain to your kid after they have been allowed to go down the slide nearly 8 times that an employee has now changed their mind and you can not tell them why or fix the situation, IS just cruel. Aside from the rules, the safety of the stairs is appalling. There is no epoxy paint on the stairs, or galvanized coating. The one eighth steel stair tubs have zero structural integrity left due to corrosion and I wouldnt reccomend even walking up the stairs to hit the top of the slide. We will ensure to call your head office because this is so not okay. There were OVER 4 sports teams at your hotel this weekend alone with an insane usage of the slide. DOES not one care about your integrity. We literally book this hotel for the pool and would not return until we hear the right course of action has been taken. Technical safety BC in Kelowna and the Canadian Weld Bureau have been notified. As a franchise, we are very upset at the standards in this location.

I had one night stay in Fairfield with my family. It was pretty good with amazing staff. We had fun by the pool and with the slide. It has a gym as well. The breakfast was pretty great as well.

Stay was great. But I would complain about staff there. We had two rooms booked. And we were stuck in between on the way from Edmonton to Kelowna because of heavy rain. Driving was hard and we decided to stay near Golden or closer if possible. When called hotel to cancel the rooms, they didn’t. When called Marriott rewards, they cancelled one room but not the other because that was booked from Expedia. Called hotel back and talked to them for 15-20 minutes explaining what the situation is. But they weren’t ready to make an “exception”. Anyways. It was all good when we reached there.

Great hotels. Nice comfy beds, great house keeping. Overall hotel is in great condition. Lots of parking. Close to so many nice restaurants. 10 min drive from beach. Pool is really small but water slide is really fun. Very happy with our stay.

Currently staying here leaving tomorrow. This place is great! Clean modern rooms. Nice comfy beds. Pretty tasty morning breakfast. Hotel staff treats you very well from the front desk staff to the cleaning people. One in particular that stood out was Tessa. She took the time to chit chat with us and suggest different places to see and even gave us a Tim Hortons gift card! All the staff seems happy as well so I think management treats them well. Will come back for sure and would recommend this place to everyone.

Stayed here for the Canada Day long weekend. They were very accommodating. The staff gave us a guide on all the Canada Day activities and good restaurants nearby. Most other hotels were booked during this time and they still had a few rooms at a very reasonable price. Would definitely stay here again.

They are currently updating the hotel, so lots of construction. The room we stayed in is refreshed and lovely, although they didn’t bother to upgrade the tubs, that would have been a nice touch had they done that. The pool heater wasn’t working, but that was fine given how hot it was outside. The breakfast was awesome! Loved the vanilla waffles and the friendly staff. The front staff was very friendly and were super nice to my dog. We have stayed before and will be staying again.

Reasonable place. Nice staff. Rooms are not sound proof and the hallway is very loud. Rooms are overly perfumed.

Stayed the weekend for a team function. The hotel and room were high quality, clean and comfortable. New renovations in the room were very nice, and the breakfast was good. Only complaint was that renovations were still underway including construction noise early in the morning, and we felt we shouldn't have paid full price to stay during the work.

Tried to charge me $300/for smoking in my room allegedly. Fought the charges without even talking to a manager and had them taken off the bill. Not impressed.

Rooms are great as always and breakfast is good. I have stayed here before and given a higher review. There is construction going on now so there isnt much of a lobby. I asked for an evening shuttle and got a 513am wake up call for a shuttle which made the day difficult. Would be nice if they supplied robes as the pool and hot tub are outdoors.

We stay here every summer. Our dogs are welcome and the staff is professional and helpful. Keep up the great work and see you next year.

Was in town for a business meeting over the weekend. Due to me from not living in Kelowna I gave my business contact my hotel number to make it a local call (yes some people still use landlines). Checking in was smooth. But I was sitting in my room awaiting for the call from my business contact. Waiting, waiting. Then there is a knock on the door the guy from the front desk says I have a call? I thought to myself why didn't he just patch it through. He said I will patch it through. Hence he was well aware that the phone in the room wasn't working. Waited and waited for my call to come through. 10 minutes later knock on the door again he said I had a message? I told him that it is obvious the phone in the room doesn't work. Got my message. Then 10 minutes later a maintenance guy comes knocking on my door to fix the phone. Enough with the damn knocking on my door already. Just finished a 6 hour drive out there and I am getting someone knocking on my door every 10 minutes! I would warn anyone about going to this hotel in the summer time since it would be packed with screaming kids. Heck there were some out swimming in the middle of March. Anything with a water slide is a big warning flag for anyone who wants peace after a long drive. Oh but before I go I have to mention the fact of the baked on urine on the base of the toilet with a dead ant stuck on it. You know like a fly trap. Disgusting and I told the front desk clerk about this upon departing.

Staff are all great! The rooms are well kept and clean.

Room wad fairly nice overall. Tv was fairly small considering similar hotels and the channel selection wasn't great considering what's available these days. Hotel staff was friendly and the breakfast was above average.

The room was a really good size, quiet, and clean. Concierge staff were friendly and helpful.

Staff was very helpful throughout our group booking, had everything ready at checkin (over thirty people in minutes, gift bags delivered to rooms) … Awesome start to our stay and service continued until checkout.

Staff are amazing and super helpful. Amenities are perfect. Breakfast every morning is great, although a little sparse for options. Room is slightly dated, but not bad at all.

It is a little dated but overall a pleasant place to stay. Reasonably priced, they allow pets for an extra charge and have a great breakfast included.

I needed a place in a pinch. I was able to book a room very easily on the phone. Check in was smooth. The cleaning staff were very accommodating and helpful when we asked for an extra blanket. Haven't checked out yet but I'm hoping it will be fairly smooth also.

This is a great hotel for a quick getaway in Kelowna. It is conveniently located close to the airport. It's location on Highway 97 makes it easy to get to anywhere in the area. This hotel offers free breakfast. It is also a good place for kids because it has a pool with a water slide.

The rooms are a little small and the AC didn't work in my room. The breakfast is good — good selection of food. The water slide is very fun. The gym is open 24/7, but is the size of a closet and very little free weights.

The hotel is nicely placed, just off the highway. Incredible three story slide into a very small pool. Rooms are tidy and well maintained. Breakfast has good variety. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Poor customer service — it's about themselves and not the guests. Very disappointed when we had a large issue that the 'customer service' employing belittled the incident and walked away closing the door on us without helping us with the issue that occurred at their hotel. Would not recommend this hotel. The incident will cost us our money and time to get fixed but the hotel showed no inclination of caring what so ever! Pass on this poorly ran hotel and book somewhere else. They do not care about customers just about the bottom line.

Great hotel, great pool, great staff, walk to all amenities, breakfast needs work and I prefer soft beds over firm beds. The pool is beyond clean. I would however recommend people stay here and I would stay here again.

Clean rooms. Internet is weak and unstable. The breakfast is decent but we were never told that breakfast was included and eventually we found out. The elliptical in the exercise room is old and doesn't work well.

This is the worst hotel I have stayed at. Did not sleep at all. Hockey tournament meant loud kids in the hallway. The manager did not seem to care. Will never stay at this hotel again. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Comfortable clean rooms convinient location friendly and helpful staff.

Rooms are older. Breakfast is pretty good. Very loud. My family got the worst sleep in a long time. There is a door to outside on the main floor. Everyone this for opened or closed our room door rattled. From six am on. Terrible.

Visited the Kelowna location for a quick trip to town for shopping. Great hotel! Friendly staff and clean rooms. Didn't realize the pool was outdoors, so that was a bit of a downfall. Also, booked through airmiles, and on the airmiles site it said breakfast was not included, but the staff corrected that at check in! Great breakfast as well! Would definitely stay there again!

Modern design in the rooms with nice furniture and comfy beds. A cool water slide in the pool area kept the kids entertained for hours.

Your side of the road, setting up a tent can also save money. Really, this hotel was the Soundproofing is very poor. Not only can you hear the Elevator door voice, You can hear distant highway noise. (On feeling like you're in the lobby of a high-speed road) is very difficult to bear. For a MARRIOTT, I feel very disappointed! The hotel window was really low quality, not soundproof it. Unless you 6am woke up, immediately checked out, otherwise don't stay here. I checked into many of the MARRIOTT, I've stayed out of the worst.

Room 325 was fantastic, the staff were super lovely, and the breakfast is great!

As good as it gets for a basic hotel. The stay and ski package was a good deal along with excellent hot breakfast with many different options each of the 3 mornings we were there. The person looking after the breakfast had good attention to detail. The front desk service was good. 2 of us and 2 Univ. Age students were sharing one room with 2 Queen beds. Considering there were 4 of us in the room there was plenty of space. The TV worked properly, and everything was clean. We also appreciated the small fridge in the room. Never tried the hot tub but will next time.

Nice hotel, clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was better than most, with numerous warm food options.

As always the staff were great. A big thanks for the complimentary upgrade. The room was fantastic. From time to time I would find a black hair in the room (certainly not mine) probably housekeeping. It happens. Breakfast was good. Check in and check out were easy. Good location. Great shopping and restaurants within easy walking distance.

I stayed there for 2 weeks for a holiday and the kid went to hockey school. Very affordable and the breakfasts variety was nice. Friendly service. I am planning on saying again this summer.

Worst hotel I stayed at in kelowna. If you need a place to stay, do not go here! Complete ripoff and very poor service.

Have stayed at this hotel both for business and holidays. Great hotel, fantastic staff and award winning service. Stay at least 8-10 times a year, highly recommended.

We stayed at this facility on June 7, 2010. We have stayed at many Marriotts and up until this day we have never stayed at a Marriott we did not like! We found this facility tired, dated, gloomy, and the room was totally uninviting. For the price we paid we felt ripped off because it was not cheap. We don't mind at all paying for quality but this hotel was so not worth what we were charged for mediocrity. The usual Marriott quality was just not there and frankly we stayed at a Days Inn in Langley, BC the night before for half the price and it was actually superior. Who knew! We informed the front desk clerk of our disappointment on check-out although all she said was a "oh that's too bad" I will inform management, without offering a manager for us to talk to. The breakfast was also disappointing. We had really been looking forward to visiting this factility because of our past experiences with Marriott. We will never go back to or recommend this particular hotel again and I doubt we will ever stay at a Fairfield Inn and Suites in light of this, it is overpriced and over-rated.
