It is clean and suitable for a short stay. Blankets may be a bit thin, but typical. Location is clear and off the side of the road.

A creepy man came to our door and he wasn't supposed to. Creepy. There was no one under us or beside us! And he came to the door when my mama wasn't home!

The rooms are fairly clean and the staff are friendly. The location is in the industrial part of town but close to shopping.

Not the best place to stay, people party at all hours and MGMT didn't do anything about it.

Western Charm — tastey lil restaurant with great service. Good place for a quick bite. Downfall — closed 2pm-4pm.

Ate at the attached Western Charm Restaurant. Friendly, accommodating staff that was generous to substitute items within the meals due to dietary restrictions. Special (choo seuy, soup, fried rice, chicken) was generous in size and delicious.

Decent place to stay on a budget but the one guy is a real jerk. Friend's toilet plugged and she basically had to beg for a plunger, he said I'll give ya one but I'm not helping, brought one and left. So she did too, to another place.

Fairly clean. Helpful staff. Too warm inside our room? If thermostat working correctly, other then that it was reasonable. Very close to west Edmonton mall.

I stay here when I am in Edmonton every single time. I love this place. It's quiet and low key. I also have a place to park my truck and trailer there. I love the chit-chat with the staff. Super nice clean. Great rates!

I guess my wife and I should have read these reviews and saved ourselves $200. The big signs are still there in the lobby 15 minutes to check room before committing to staying there. The fine print will catch you when you book online with this place. The guy had us sign and pay before we looked at the room and decide within 5 minutes to stay at the Best Western Plus next door for a cheaper rate that included a safe, clean room with breakfast included. This doesn't deserve a star rating but in order to post it one had to be selected. Live and Learn.

On entering the room all seemed ok for a dated motel… until I checked the beds, bedding was dirty hair and had small blood stains in them. Displayed in the lobby is a policy about no refund after 15 minutes in the room. I was 1 of 2 groups trying to get refunded immediately after checking in for similar reasons. Front desk clerk refused as it was our problem not his. Furthermore price booked at $113.65 and was charged $238. This hotel is completely substandard.

Its has rather comfy beds and the coffee is great!

DO NOT STAY HERE! after a late night I got into the room and just passed out only to wake up and find blood on the wall and door frame no coffee by the coffee pot and what looked like sludge on the back of the door and behind the bed. When I brought this to the staffs attention and demanded a partial refund or a sharp discount on a clean room I was told all he can do is offer a 10% discount on another nights stay, wow what BS. There are far nicer hotels for cheaper in the city. Do not stay here.

Called ahead to ensure that a pet-friendly room was available for the night, and informed the receptionist that we had two dogs. He said it would be $120 + $15 for each dog. Sounded a bit pricey, but we were coming into Edmonton late and unfortunately all the decent hotels were booked up due to the bike race, so it was our last option. We showed up at around midnight and checked in, informing the receptionist again that we had dogs since there was a "ALL PETS MUST BE REGISTERED" sign on the counter. He seemed distracted by his buddy who had just walked in and just handed my boyfriend the key (to a room on the upper floor) and a TV remote (never a good sign) after taking a $100 deposit. The reason that the place got two stars from me is that the room itself was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. It looked like it had been recently updated, however already looking run-down — — fan ripped out of the bathroom ceiling, questionably-stained carpet & bedspread, and baseboard heaters not wired properly. However, those things in and of themselves are somewhat expected and I wouldn't have written a negative review if that was all. The real problem was with the service. I took my dogs out for a pee in the grassy area in the centre of the parking lot in the morning (~9am), and felt eyes watching me. A couple sat in their car staring at me as I walked back with the dogs to our room.

Horribly ghetto hotel. We had a drug addict yelling at us and banging on the wall's had to move rooms. Receptionist was drinking beers with his buddies on the stairs out front too. Very un professional.

I have been here for over a month had the cops try to kick me and my dog out cause we were not on the tentents list for the room my bfs boss rents for us. So had to go regester and not to count how rude these people that work here are this place is a shut hole.

Call to find a room said we had two dogs they said 90 a night and 10 dollars per dog when we got there they charged 99 dollars and 15 dollars for one dog in the morning the guy charged us another 15 for the second dog so the 90 dollar room plus 2 dogs should have cost 110 cost 145 when it was done. Its not cool and its bs I say! They held a deposit for 100 dollars and they refused to give it back to us un less we payed extra 15 dollar's.

Just phoned there to book a room and the front desk (who couldn't speak English very well) told me that they do not take reservations, I offered giving my credit card number to hold a room but they refused. Of course there was no manager to speak to, and apparently you can only actually stay in a room if you are there in person to pay for it. What's easier for paying customers, calling to book a room or driving to every hotel in edmonton to check availability? What's the point in even answering the phone? Especially if it's policy to be rude to customers and hang up on them In the hotel business I guess you should expect that customers will phone to book rooms, or even book online! This is 2015 Get with it or close your doors.

Stayed there for about three days and I got admit I enjoy this motel more than the Travelodge across the street. Bigger rooms, decent size bathroom, coffee machine, mini fridge, microwave, and free Wi-Fi. Cheap and decent rooms. Another thing the photos are quite old. This place has everything renovated.
