Rubbish they cheating to get more money from you I promise.

I was in 4 hotels in last week. And this was the best. Rooms clean, breakfast great…

A lovely hotel a short taxi ride away from the centre of Sofia. The rooms are big, airy and clean with very comfortable beds and air conditioning. The bathroom was very nice with toiletries and big soft white towels. The room has a safe, dressing gown, slippers and mini bar etc. There is a kettle with free tea and bottled water. The staff on reception are very polite and helpful. They made us feel welcome and were very pleasant. The restaurant is expensive, but the food is very good. I would have given five stars, but unfortunately the waitresses in the restaurant are indifferent and rude. They made us feel unwelcome and acted as if we were disturbing them by turning up for a meal. If I visit Sofia again, I will definitely stay in this hotel again, but will not be having an evening meal in the restaurant. It's a shame that just two members of staff can spoil an otherwise lovely experience. Maybe a bit of staff training would help improve their attitude.

Nice rooms especially on upper floors from where you can enjoy view. Bad staff in the bar which is open until 22:00 with not very polite attitude!

Luxury hotel in communicative location. Polite personnel. Good for city breaks or business trips. Parking avaliable, on the top floor beauty saloon with many therapies. Close to neighborhood called Student city which is place with many dinner options and night life activities such as pubs, bar discos, game centers as bowling billiards and so on.

Vega is a good and friendly hotel in Sofia. The rooms are modern in style. The breakfast buffet was adequate. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel makes for a good connection to the centre of Sofia. Vega is suitable for groups — as well as business trips. Recommended.

All right and clean, somewhat outdated the décor and facilities but better than the average of the country.

The Vega Hotel Sofía it’s a great hotel with good bedrooms and common spaces. The staff is always willing to help and had a great time there. The lunch and dinner food has a great level and has a high quality, but, the breakfast buffet it’s not so good. Also if you want Asoka Milk they don’t have it and that’s very bad for those who we don’t drink raw milk. In overall, great hotel to stay in and have a nice time in Sofia.

I had the chance to visit hotel Vega on the wedding of friends of mine. It was very good organized and the whole event went more than well — rooms, restaurant, food and decoration, everything was perfect. Definitely one of the best places for wedding in Sofia.

The hotel was fine until last night. It was 40 degrees but the air-con didn't work. Reception explained after I contacted them that the whole hotel was affected but the repair firm would not be coming until Monday (it was Saturday). We wanted to open the windows to compensate but there were two problems: the traffic noise and the hotel were hosting a wedding reception with a loud disco — the lobby doors were open so the music was blaring out everywhere. I can understand that the hotel were then in a difficult situation — they couldn't really cancel a wedding reception. But why host one in the first place when guests are meant to be sleeping on the floors above? Our group (we were also there for a wedding but that was being held elsewhere) did not get any acknowledgement that we had been deeply inconvenienced and the hotel seemed to act like what happened was not their problem. That is why I only give them one star. I've stayed in other hotels, both cheaper and more expensive, and on the rare occasion when there has been an issue, such as overbooking, the hotel has always made an effort to make amends. Not this time, sadly.

Very good choice Spacious and luxurious room, sumptuous breakfast. 15 minutes by car distance from down town. Coffee making facilities in room. Certainly a four star hotel.
