The family who runs the place has been in the business for a long time and knows exactly what a hostel guest expects. We stayed in one of their private rooms which was a small cozy hut with air-con, spotless bed sheets and excellent daily room service. The bathroom is spacious and has a nice shower. Breakfast is yummy (it includes bread, homemade cakes, different kinds of fruit and even muesli) and served on a big table, which is great because it makes it easy to meet other travelers. It is a 5minute walk to the beach, probably more than most hostels on the island, but that also makes the place much more quiet and you can relax in one of the many hammocks surrounded by jungle ;) Staff is great, they know EVERYTHING about the island and are always happy to give you advise on what to do. Taís and Marcela, a big thumbs up for creating such a beautiful place!
Most incredible place! Very nice english speaking staff and beautiful garden in the middle of a pristine subtropical forest. Don't miss Lopes Mendes beach — probably the most beautiful beach in South America. I will definitely be back!

Wonderful Hostel, inserted in nature. Excellent service, from Marcela, her owner, and all the staff who work there. Very cozy and spotless cabins. A really magical place, the delicious breakfast will definitely come back.
