The property is around less than 1 km from Rio Vermelho, 6.2 km from Barra's Lighthouse and 6.6 km from Arena Fonte Nova. Bus Central Station is 7.2 km from the hostel and Salvador Shopping Mall is 7.4 km away.
I booked this hostel for 5 nights, it looked ok online. WRONG this place is dirty, the fridges are rusty and gross. There were SO many mosquitoes I had at least 20 bites just from sitting outside trying to eat my dinner. The private rooms (and maybe all of them) lack the ability to close, as they are just holes in the walls with wooden slates covering them, so the mosquitoes get in your room and bite you all night long, no mesh above the bed. I decided to give it a night and see how it went. The bed was so old and saggy, you always fell into the middle. The towels were so old and worn and stained and just gross. I woke up in the morning disgusted and tried to get my money back. The person in charge, Marcos, said he had already spent my money? And he couldn't give it back to me and that it was my fault because I had looked at the room and approved it. SO disappointing. I've never had that happen before in my life, in any country, and i've been traveling for the past 6 months in all of south america. Cheap scumbag. Do not stay here.
