Recently renovated and very comfortable room. Just above the beach, although the bathroom is not recommended for being contaminated. The breakfast and the gym very advisable.

The bedroom is very comfortable, the beds too. It has a powerful air conditioner and also very cozy duvet. The bathroom is very large and the shower is quite powerful. I like it a lot.

Good hotel, good service and good location in a very attractive neighborhood.

What a disappointment when I discovered my room!
I am making a stay with private travel "discovering Brazil" This hotel is seems it a 4 * for me it does not deserve 2 * when I am tucked into the room he assigned me the light was not working I called the front desk he told me he was going to fix it I Was eaten it was 10pm I had just made five hours flying by plane I was coming from the Argentine border.
And when I came back from dinner and the light was working this is what I discovered "see photo" I claim again at the reception I had to insist to have another room!
It my given the same type of room 1 floor lower!
What a disappointment!
Nothing to do with the pictures of their site!
I do not recommend this hotel!

Nice hotel, beautiful infinity pool.

Very good location in Rio Vermelho, close to bars and restaurants, facing the sea, the pool overlooks the beach and has a bar, breakfast is very varied and abundant, not included in the price of the room, the restaurant works at night, it has 24 hours room service. The rooms are comfortable. Staff very helpful and friendly, a special souvenir to Tiago from reception.

The hotel is amazing and beautiful. I loved get there.

It has a good cost benefit ratio. The rooms look old. It is not recommended to order food in the pool, it is very bad!

The beach near it is not good. The food in the hotel cost too much for few in quantity. The service is excelent. Very clean and confortable.

Nice stay with a nice room, nice bedding, nice staff.
Small downside the condition of the bathroom, clean but dilapidated shower with mold.

The experience was good in general, although there are aspects to improve.
The service, friendliness and disposition of all the staff was excellent, plus the common spaces also very good.
However we had some drawbacks as far as the room is concerned. The sheets had holes and patches cooked, as well as very rough.
The first day we arrived in the minibar there was an open Gatorade that did not bounce or replenish as they were not noticed.
The air conditioner was very old and had no remote control and we had to get up to turn the air on and off.
The hand wash was always clogged, that was very annoying because it gathers a lot of water.
The shower panes were dirty with previous soap remains, that was from day one.
The bathroom had no extraction chamber and as there was no window if we left the bathroom closed after the bath it was put with very bad smell.

This was my third staying at the Mercure. Love the waking up to sunrise and the clear view of the ocean… just breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful. The room was just right size, bed comfortable, room clean (9 out of 10 considering beach front hotel). Breakfast was not great, missing touchy, didn't like selection offered for the price asked (R$38 Reais pp per day). The lobby bar always closed and no other bar service besides from the room service — when in vacation and meeting people at the hotel a bar open would be a PLUS. Otherwise, friendly environment. Liked and recommend, once again!

Very good location in the heart of Rio Vermelho. The friendliness of the staff at the check in and the breakfast was not at the rendezvous this time.

Only negative note the weather time but it's certainly not the hotel's fault.

The room and all public areas were clean The staff were friendly and helpful The breakfast buffet was delicious and extensive. The pool was cold, towels were not readily available near the pool.

The hotel is super well located but needs work with staff and rooms. First the staff: Front desk is arrogant, slow and not prepared for guests. Rooms are dirty! Yes… fungus in the showers, broken electricity plugs, warned out fridges and from one day to another, do not expect to be cleaned… the most they do is change the towels and make the beds. Restaurant does not have the hapines of the Brazilians… it is "cold", decoration is poor and the food quality is very low and disorganized.

Convenient location, good rooms and a good breakfast. Wonderfull swimming pool.

2nd stay here. It's my option in Salvador. Great service and location with everything you need close by. The front desk staff speak multiple languages if you don't speak Portuguese which is nice. Rooms and hotel in general are always clean. Don't hesitate to book Mercure!

Excelent reception. Location and view of the sea is fantastic. Coffee break was more or less. The food served in the restaurant was nicelly presented.

Eliminate the carpet in the corridors leading to the rooms: it keeps dirty and is ' stinky.

The hotel is nice and the pool is superb although small at last it is especially the seen which is amazing. Flat on the Wi-Fi little reception and no connections to the pool. For making the historic center in Pousada. … prefer the Pousada for visits and hotels for lazing.
