The hotel is perfect for a trip in Salvador de Bahia. The owner and the staff (from the front desk to the kitchen) are lovely and so helpful. The room are beautiful, big and very quiet even if we are directly located on the Praça de Se. Walking distance from everything you want to visit in Salvador de Bahia. I highly recommend this place.

Excellent hotel, located in the heart of old town. Comfortable bed, correct breakfast, friendly staff willing to help. As for the area there are many people who want to tie you ribbons and disturb the tourist.

The place is nice and room are great. Owner is very helpful and friendly. However you must be aware you are in the middle of old Salvador so often there is a lot of noise in particular at night. But at end is a good place.

The hotel is a renovated old house in very good condition and with modern services. The only thing is that it has no elevator and it is complicated in the superior rooms with lots of luggage. Great place, super helpful staff. Rooms are on a level of a Brazil 5 Star hotel, super clean, modern and cozy. Be aware of the area, during the day it is a super fine sightseeing area but at night you only wanna go by taxi or uber — don’t go by foot. You get used to it quite quickly. All in all it was one of the best hotels we had in Brazil.

Excellent and cordial attention, clean and with everything you need for a stay in the heart of the historic center of Salvador de Bahia, breakfast very complete and well served, good prices. Being historic building, it lacks elevators so it's a little uncomfortable when you're staying on the highest floor.

Great value, clean room, Bohemian feel. Very friendly staff helped us book other elements of out trip with a discount including the boat ride to Morro de São Paulo. Stayed on a Sunday night — the whole city is very quiet on Sunday, lots is shops and restaurants closed but we found plenty to do.

A beautiful colonial mansion transformed into a hotel. A lot of taste in the décor that makes it a charming hotel. Excellent breakfast, very plentiful, fresh and local produce. The staff are friendly, smiling and professional. A little flat, a lift would be nice. The suitcases are happily taken in charge. And a little more storage in some rooms. The bar and the small cafe are also nice with good services and decent rates.

Charming little hotel that we recommend to all the people who will have the chance to visit SALVADOR de BAHIA, the rooms are comfortable, the breakfasts are succulent! The staff is very nice, we remember the interview we had with Wellington, in an impeccable French. And if you want to perfect the discovery of SALVADOR de BAHIA and its surroundings, we highly recommend the guide Pédro, with whom we have had great moments of sharing! Thank you all.

We came on a recommendation from our wonderful walking tour guide. The cafe was clean and airy with a wonderful ambience. The quiches are absolutely delicious — we ate both savoury and sweet. The service was quick and polite — the chef/ owner is lovely! We would eat here again and totally recommend to anyone. Obrigada!
