We loved staying at pousada des arts! It’s an amazing building in pelourinho, with super authentic rooms. It takes about 5 — 10 minutes to walk to largo do pelourinho, from where you can explore pelourinho. If you can, book a seaside suite with balcony; you will not regret it. If they don’t have seaside rooms available, don’t worry. The community terrace has a sea view as well and has a great ambiance as well. If you wish to visit other parts of the city, the staff is very friendly and helpful and will kindly recommend you where to go, and even arrange an Uber if you like. The breakfast at the pousada is fresh, and really nice. They provide crepes and fruit, and of course pao de queijo.
➜ Very good the Pousada. Very good service and comfortable rooms. Recommended for a couple of nights before going to the nearby beaches.
